Chapter 653: *No wonder your girls are so powerful and brave*
Elias then told him, "It is more complicated than that. Lilith seemed to really want to get her toys this time; Ulyss and Roman are already there with 2 other Ancient Gods... But Lilith didn’t show herself yet. If I leave you both without protection, she might take the opportunity to attack you."
Kevin then smiled and told him, "Let her come; even without my Stage 3, I can still fight against her. She won’t be able to kill me that easily, but first, take Lena and Sora to safety."
Elias then disappeared and reappeared in the cave, where he immediately recognized Maya, who bowed her head to him to show her respect. Elias smiled before saying, "So you are Sora and Lena’s mother. No wonder your girls are so powerful and so brave."
Maya smiled at him and said, "Elias, it’s been a long time, my friend; fate seems to have wanted us to meet again. Thank you for protecting my girls out there and also for coming with reinforcements. We really needed you this time."
Elias just nodded and told her, shaking hands with Peter, "I will first take your girls to safety, then we will all go fight."
Everyone got serious at once, and Elias then teleported Lena and Sora into the prison dimension, where they would be safe.
The Warrior Spirits that stayed in Kevin and Axel’s world could teleport directly into the palace of the God of War in the plane of existence reserved for the Gods if they wanted to rest or stay on the bases that they had built in this world. So he and Miguel had chosen to take the prison dimension with them.
Elias checked Sora’s state rapidly and said to Lena, "Do not worry too much for her; she just needs to rest."
Lena nodded and said to him, "Thank you for coming to help us, and please be careful!"
Elias smiled before disappearing, and as soon as he reappeared in the cave, he opened a golden portal and made 2 Divine-grade swords appear that Connor had forged with the high-grade Acrium they had found in their world.
He handed them to Maya and her husband before saying, "On the other side of the portal, there are plenty of powerful enemies, so please be extremely careful and use all your powers."
Kevin then teleported next to them and said to Elias, "Wait just a moment; it won’t take long."
Kevin then engraved the Rune of Instant Teleportation on Maya and Peter’s hands, and he also engraved the one that would enable them to see corrupted souls, thanks to the Rune that allowed them to use the same vision as Axel.
As he engraved them on their hands, Kevin explained to Maya and Peter how these Runes worked, and once they were ready, the four of them stepped through the golden portal, which Elias closed behind them.
Without adding a word, Kevin and Elias teleported back to Axel, and while Elias was busy bringing Lena and Sora to the prison dimension, Mykael had placed Divine magic crystals all around Axel and, using his powers, had connected them together to create a force field that even Lilith would find difficult to break.
As Axel was in a state of extreme concentration and was continuing to absorb large quantities of Divine energy, they couldn’t risk teleporting him elsewhere to put him in safety because if they interrupted this flow of Divine energy absorption for even an instant, the consequences for Axel could be terrible.
Elias, seeing that Mykael had taken matters into his own hands here, said, patting him on the shoulder, "Good work; with that, he will not only be safe but he will also be able to draw the amount of Divine energy he needs more quickly."
Mykael then told him, now worried for Colin and the others, "I’m going to join the others; they need support."
Elias nodded and said to him, "I’m coming too; I just need to do one more thing here!"
Mykael nodded, and then he ruffled Kevin’s hair affectionately before saying to him, "Join us as soon as you can, and be very careful, okay?"
Kevin nodded and said, "I will; don’t worry about us and go join the others..."
He then added, "Willow is training in our personal dimension, and there is something I will show you later. I’m sure Miguel and Colin will be delighted."
Mykael’s smile widened then, and he said, "I can’t wait to see what our little princess has done this time... See you on the battlefield, son!"
Elias smiled too, and once Mykael had left, he showed Kevin the Chains of Restraint, telling him, "I will keep them for now, as they will be more powerful if they are linked to my powers. That way, even if Lilith and Cassandra show up, they wouldn’t be able to break through their protective shield."
Elias then waved his right hand, and the Chains of Restraint wrapped around Kevin and Axel, forming another protective circle.
Elias then told him, "Trust their powers and don’t leave this circle... By the way, what did Axel do to them? They are clearly more powerful than before."
Kevin then told him, "He has engraved a Rune on their original part that allows them to draw in Divine energy at will, so the Chains of Restraint are now immune to the Evil Divine Element."
Elias made the original part of the Chains appear in his hand, and indeed, the Rune was there.
He then looked at Axel and couldn’t help but think that this kid was truly someone unique; it was no wonder the Creator had chosen him as a vessel last time, and he was sure that Axel’s powers will continue to grow as he was still only at the beginning of his life after all.
Now that everything had been put in place so that Kevin and Axel would be safe, he said to Kevin, "Don’t forget, son, don’t leave this protective circle no matter what, understood?"
