Chapter 637: *It was kind of smart of them*
While this Ancient God was still thinking about who Axel’s parents could be, he started moving, going to the new room where the shield’s generator and the array to communicate with the outside world were.
Axel followed him, leaving some distance between them so as not to take the risk of being spotted. As Axel had used the power of his runic symbols thanks to his divine sword, he was now at God level 8, and in a few days, if he could continue to absorb the golden particles, he could become a God level 9.
His force field, as he was on the same level as this Ancient God, couldn’t be spotted by him, but just in case, he had added a few runic symbols on it so that no matter what, he would be undetectable.
Axel had opened his senses to the maximum, and he knew that it would take only 20 minutes for this Ancient God’s men to reach the place where Kevin, Willow, and the others were, so he could only hope that the way to the new generator was shorter than that.
But it wasn’t, and it was kind of smart of them to have placed the shield’s generator in the most remote place inside the evil being territory.
Like that, even if the Angels and Paladins were winning some battles, the shield’s generator couldn’t be shut down so easily, as they would have to pass through all the evil being territory before being able to find it.
But it wasn’t a problem for him, as he could teleport wherever he wanted thanks to his personal dimension instantly, so he just needed to know where this room was.
This Ancient God was taking his time, and Axel could feel that his men had already started attacking the cave. If he could feel it, this Ancient God could feel it too. Right now, his men were still blocked outside the cave, and suddenly he smiled when he felt Kevin’s golden chains sealing the entrance.
The Ancient God then looked back in the direction where the cave was, and Axel saw him frown and clench his fists; things apparently weren’t going as he had wished.
He then increased his speed, and 2 minutes later, they finally arrived. Axel widened his eyes as he was now able to detect the impenetrable barrier... Lilith had put the shield’s generator and the only means of communication with the outside world behind an impenetrable barrier.
Axel then swore, but he didn’t have much choice, and so he followed this Ancient God before the opening he had just made on the impenetrable barrier closed. He knew that he was now trapped inside this impenetrable barrier and that he couldn’t use his personal dimension to leave this place.
As he was getting anxious while following this Ancient God, Kevin then contacted him thanks to their link and asked him worriedly, "Honey, what happened? Why do you feel so anxious all of a sudden?"
Axel then breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Kevin’s voice, and he was glad that at least their link was powerful enough to get through this impenetrable barrier. He told him immediately, "I followed this Ancient God, and in the most secluded place of this world, there is an impenetrable barrier..."
He could feel that Kevin had tensed up, and he told him, "I didn’t have a choice, so I followed him inside it. But I’m not anxious for myself; my force shield can’t be detected by them, so I’m safe... It’s just that I can’t use our personal dimension here, so I can’t teleport to you if you need my help..."
Kevin then told him, "Don’t worry about us... Only Lilith or her first and second Knights of Darkness could pass through the protection of my golden chains. By the way, I’m not alone; Atlas is a powerful Mage who can use the Evil Divine Element, and Solomon possesses a weapon that can power the force field Atlas has put in place by sending black particles into it."
Kevin added then, "Right now, Atlas is using his force field that has become an almost unlimited reserve of black particles to kill those assholes... You see, we are fine, so just make sure to stay hidden and leave as soon as you can."
Kevin then told him, feeling a little helpless, "I don’t like knowing that you are alone on the other side of this impenetrable barrier... Be careful, and let me know if you find something interesting."
Axel then told him, "The structure they have hidden behind the impenetrable barrier looks like the ones used to create Knights of Darkness... And all the evil beings here are more powerful than the ones in the Coliseum."
Axel then told him, as he was still following this Ancient God who didn’t care about the evil beings and other creatures bowing their heads to him, "We won’t be able to get rid of this threat alone... I have to find a way to contact Elias and Miguel."
Kevin knew he was right; even with their powerful team, they wouldn’t be enough... Each time they destroyed a training center that Lilith had put in place, they were at least 8 Warrior Spirits, plus Elias, Miguel, Mykael, Colin, Ian, and Liam, who were also participating, as well as Atlas and Jordan. They couldn’t take this threat lightly.
Kevin then remembered that Vampires were evil beings that reproduced at very high speeds, and so if other races of evil beings were the same as Vampires, and if Lilith could control them, then she really hit the jackpot by coming into this world.
Axel was right; they absolutely had to warn Elias and Miguel of what was transpiring here. Axel, who had been able to follow his thoughts, then told him, "Babe, let me take care of that; I will find a way... Stay focused on your own issues and call me if you need any help."
