Chapter 622: *She is too young for that*
Only a few more days, and he would be able to become a Priest, and then he would just have to get used to this power to make the best of it during the war.
He didn’t really care anymore about getting stronger as soon as possible because now he had a family, friends, and their world was at peace.
If it wasn’t for the threat that Diana and Lilith represented and the weapons they were about to create, which threatened to destroy all the magic in their universe, he would just enjoy his life with his loved ones.
But to face this threat, he didn’t have a choice. If he wanted to be able to protect the person he loved, he had to become much stronger than he was now; otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to fight against these ancient gods and Chaos.
Before he could become a Priest and start a new kind of training using both his Warrior Spirit and Priest powers, they had to seek help from the Angels and Paladins and convince them to take part in the war against the Titans.
While eating their lunch, Sora told them about her plan to create portals thanks to a magic circle that would be powered by earth elemental crystals.
She explained to them the benefits that these would bring compared to using the Teleportation Talismans, and Kevin was thrilled by this idea.
So they all turned towards Colin and Mykael to know if they thought it was possible to do that, but it turned out that they hadn’t been focused on the conversation since they were too busy playing and spoiling Willow.
Mykael even made two small daggers appear that he had asked Connor to craft for Willow, made of the high-grade ore that they had found hiding under the sea of his friend’s world.
They were very small because Willow was, after all, still a little girl, and she should be able to handle them properly. But it wasn’t because Willow looked like a little girl that she wasn’t strong enough to wield weapons.
Willow had already assimilated the fighting techniques of her Phoenix Clan, and so she could use these daggers without any problems.
Kevin still broke into a cold sweat when he saw Mykael giving Willow those two small daggers, which were a dark blue color with turquoise grooves on them.
Before he could say anything, Axel put his hand on his and told him through their link, "It’s okay, babe. Look at Willow; look how much she loves them. Her eyes are shining, and I can feel her excitement..."
But Kevin then told him, worried for their daughter, "No way, she can’t wield weapons; she is too young for that; it’s dangerous!"
Axel chuckled then and told him still through their link, "More dangerous than the sacred fire energy that she can already use... Come on, babe, our daughter is a Divine creature who has already assimilated all the knowledge of her clan. Even in her 5-year-old body, she is already extremely powerful."
Kevin knew that already, but he still couldn’t help but say to Axel, "Honey, I’m not sure... What if she gets hurt while using them?"
Axel then said to him before kissing him, "If you are so scared, then take some time with her to check if she knows how to use them. But these weapons are made of one of the most powerful ores we found, so small that Willow will be able to keep them on her when she is using her human body, which will make her stats go much higher. Think about it, babe; our baby girl is not an ordinary baby girl, and these daggers will provide her with another great layer of protection."
Kevin then looked at Axel straight in the eyes and said to him, "You won’t let her get hurt, right?"
Axel nodded and said, stroking his cheek, "Look at her, babe; she’s so happy... So don’t kill her fun, okay? She is coming to show her new daggers to us."
Kevin then sighed, and when he saw the smile Willow had on her face, he couldn’t help but smile too. Their daughter made her phoenix wings appear, choosing to fly to join them, and as Axel grabbed her, because he already knew what their daughter had in mind, he said to her, placing a kiss on the top of her head, "Go ahead, my precious little princess; ask Daddy what you want. I have already prepared the ground for you—don’t worry."
Kevin then gave him a look that told him he would make him pay later for the fact that he chose to collude with their daughter, and he turned his attention back to his daughter, who was handing him one of her daggers.
Kevin took it, and Willow asked him excitedly, "Daddy, can you read its stats? And can you make me something so I can wear them all the time?"
Kevin then said honestly, because as Axel had reminded him, he didn’t want to spoil her fun, "Sweetie, before I make you clothes that can camouflage your daggers and that are practical for fighting, I would like for you and me to practice a bit, so I can be sure that you won’t hurt yourself using them, OK?"
Willow’s eyes lit up, and she asked him, not believing her luck because she knew that Kevin was by far the best dagger-wielder between her two Daddies, "Are you really going to train me?"
Axel then gently pinched her cheek and said to her, "Let me tell you, little girl, I can teach you how to use your daggers just as well as Daddy; don’t underestimate me."
Willow laughed because she knew Axel had read her mind, so she said to him, still excited, "When I’m older and I can use my adult form, you will be the one I will ask to teach me how to use a sword, deal?"
