Chapter 620: *New means of transportation*
In the Royal Palace of the human territory, as Alan had warned beforehand that he was telling the good news to his family this morning, Axel told him that they should stay together at least this morning to celebrate it together.
So he contacted Sora to seek help from her since Dilan wouldn’t be coming this morning, and he had no idea what he had to do to run a territory. Kevin was still sleeping after the night they spent looting dungeons, and he didn’t have the heart to wake him up since he knew that he still needed to rest a little bit.
But Sora didn’t mind at all, and she was even glad to be able to help. She always had a good relationship with the Shapeshifters, and Evy, who was Tony’s older sister and one of the pillars of the organization, was also one of her close friends.
So Sora immediately left the Demon Royal Palace, where Solomon was busy with Ian, Connor, Derek, and Kerry planning the restructuring of the Demon territory, and she went to organize what had to be done in the human territory.
At first, she hadn’t been able to help Dilan a lot because she was still recovering and she needed a few days of intense meditation and Lena’s help to be able to return to her true appearance and get back all her powers.
After that, she joined the intense training everyone had to undergo if they wanted to participate in the war.
Her morning had been filled with Mage training sessions where, since all the elements she had an affinity with were already at the maximum of their level, she had been working on new spells, and she had also started learning the Priest fighting techniques even though she wasn’t one of them.
Using the pressure points to fight was new to her, but she was a quick learner, and if Miguel, Colin, or Kevin weren’t free to teach them, any Warrior Spirit could come to teach her, Alan, Ashton, Ian, Jordan, and any Mage who got Miguel’s permission to use this special dimension.
So she hadn’t had much time until now to come and help Dilan, as the afternoons were used to train in dungeons. Fortunately, she was in Solomon’s group, and so they still could spend a lot of time together while fighting inside the dungeons.
She was also helping them with the restructuring plan, and as Evy was a good friend of hers, along with Alice, who was Kerry’s childhood friend and one of the leaders of the black market, they had made great progress in the means of transportation that Kevin wanted to develop all over their world for everyone to be able to travel between their two territories freely and at less cost.
Right now, using the Teleportation Talismans was their only option to make it work, but Sora wasn’t convinced that it was the best way to travel all over their world...
Whenever she had some free time, she was looking into the ancient magic books that were in the private library of the Royal Palace of the human territory, and she thought that she could create a magic circle that would be powered by earth elemental crystals instead, and that way all their cities could have a few of them to connect them to each other.
It was the room Kevin and the others found while looting a dungeon, where a magic circle with a pentagram on it was powered by magic crystals, that gave her this idea.
It was thanks to this magic circle that they were able to loot the dungeons, and now that Miguel and Elias had given them divine-grade magic crystals to power it, the number of dungeons that appeared had greatly increased, allowing anyone who wanted to go loot them to do so.
Kevin, Axel, Ian, and Liam had lifted all the restrictions that had previously existed so that everyone could take advantage of the resources that the dungeons could provide, as well as the experience points that they could hope to gain by looting them.
The only thing that they had drawn everyone’s attention to was safety first and foremost, and that anyone wishing to loot a dungeon had to make sure that they were part of a powerful enough group before entering one.
Dilan had taken care of spreading the message across the entire magical community on the human side. Mages, fighters, and Shapeshifters had all been informed of the new rules, and Kerry had taken care of warning the Demons and Shapeshifters who had joined them that the same rules applied in both territories.
Sora knew that her idea could work, so as soon as she had the chance, she would ask Miguel or Colin for advice. Perhaps other worlds were already using magic circles powered by earth elemental crystals as means of transportation.
It would be more convenient for everyone, as Kevin and Axel could supply them with all the earth elemental crystals they would need, and in addition to those they could find from time to time in the dungeons, Mykael had also stockpiled crystals from all the elements, and Sora knew he wouldn’t refuse to help them.
That way, these portals for going from one city to another could remain open non-stop, and it could even be free to use them as the only resources needed to power them would come from the dungeons.
This solution would mean that the Mages would no longer need to create Teleportation Talismans free of charge for the common good of all the inhabitants of their world, and they could sell them again as before since some people would surely prefer to continue using them.
But this morning, Sora focused all her attention on welcoming the Shapeshifters who had arrived at the Royal Palace yesterday, and, together with Evy, Alice, and the elders of the Shapeshifter clans, they talked about strategic places where the Shapeshifters could settle and where they could open shops to sell magic items.
