Chapter 577: *How disgusting*
The Drakonits received, at the same time as the other Legendary creatures and Demons, the message from Roman, and so they only had 2 minutes to try to finish off these traitors.
Phil and Blaise were their only targets, but these pathetic humans kept protecting them from all sides... Furthermore, those summoned creatures were everywhere, making it a real pain just to be able to reach them.
But the 12 Drakonits that had come after learning that Phil and Blaise weren’t dead but were fighting against them on the side of the Warrior Spirits were determined to kill them.
They split their forces into different groups. Some were taking care of the summoned creatures, while others were fighting these humans.
Finally, 5 of them found an opening and were ready to attack when a man who wasn’t a Warrior Spirit but had the same kind of vibe as them placed himself in front of Phil and Blaise.
They heard Phil’s scared voice shout at this human, "Kelan, what the fuck do you think you are doing? Back off; it’s too dangerous..."
But Kelan was suddenly emitting a terrifying aura, and a golden chain mixed with a kind of transparent crystal appeared in his hand.
He said to Phil, still glaring at the 5 Drakonits that were threatening not only Phil and Blaise’s lives but his father’s too, "Do you really think that my husband would have sent me here, fighting against Drakonits and Knights of Darkness, if I wasn’t able to defend myself? Of course not."
He then deployed his new weapon, which Elias and Miguel had asked Connor to craft especially for him.
It was the same kind of chain that Kevin could use, but these were even stronger since they had been forged with a more powerful ore.
Elias and Miguel had offered him this gift after his wedding with Caleb, so he could fight alongside them without Caleb being worried for him... Well, at least that was their plan, but he guessed that he would still have to prove to his dear husband that he was able to defeat stronger opponents than himself, and so these Drakonits that were threatening his family were the perfect opponents for that.
Phil could feel the change of power in Kelan, and he was dumbfounded. To him, Kelan was the smartest man he knew, but he never really thought that he could be frightening!
However, his killing intent directed at their opponents gave him goosebumps. After exchanging a glance with Blaise, they joined Kelan, placing themselves on either side of him, and Phil then told Kelan, "Let us fight with you; you don’t need to do this alone."
Kelan then gave him a side glance and said, "Alright, but don’t take unnecessary risks. You are part of my family now, and I don’t want you to get hurt."
Phil then said to him, "Same here; how do you want me to face your father if you are getting hurt while protecting me?"
One of the Drakonits finally saw the mark of Union on Phil’s left palm and said, his black aura thickening around him, "So that’s why these humans are desperately trying to save your ass... It’s because of this mark of the Union. How disgusting! You have chosen to unite your life with an insignificant creature. I think it is time to end your life then; you can’t be saved anymore, no matter what."
Ian, who was fighting close to them, then said to Phil, "So, brother, how do you feel now that your words are coming back at you? Angry, right?"
Phil sighed and replied, "I have already apologized for that... But you are right; I’m feeling fucking mad now."
Ian and Liam then came to join them, and they were now 5 against 9 Drakonits.
Blaise then said, because after all, even if he could not convince them all, it was still worth a try, "You are treating us as traitors, but you are the real traitors, not us... Can’t you see his power? Ian is more powerful than any other Drakonit. He is our true King, and you still choose to follow a Goddess that would never give you freedom."
Phil then said, "It isn’t too late. You can still join us and gain your freedom... I will even let what you said about my life partner slide because, after all, you don’t know him. But know that my man has obtained the respect of the Warrior Spirits, so he can’t be that simple, right?"
Liam then told him, "I’m impressed; you can now control your emotions."
The Drakonits didn’t answer, but when the one who talked to Phil ordered them to attack, they all dashed toward them at the same time.
Kelan then blocked 3 opponents thanks to his chains and was fighting them alone.
Apart from Ian, who was fighting against 2 Drakonits, the others all fought against one opponent.
Kelan, who knew exactly where his brothers were, sent one of his opponents to Alan, telling him via the communication stone to create a blade of golden particles and to thrust it into his energy reserve.
Thus, this Drakonit died without even being able to see the one who had thrust this blade of golden particles directly into his energy reserve.
Then he called Nolan and asked him to borrow Axel’s sword just for 30 seconds, telling Nolan to teleport right in front of him and to start by decapitating the Drakonit on his left side and then the one on his right side.
Kelan was controlling his chains like if he had done that all his life, and when he gave the order to Nolan, the Drakonit on his left side could not avoid the sword strike from Nolan, and his head flew far from his body.
When the last Drakonit wanted to flee and safely return to Lilith’s personal dimension, he realized that he couldn’t... He then realized that he had been trapped by this human and his weird weapon.
