Chapter 549: *They were all trapped*
After Miguel and Elias agreed, they all showed Axel the inside of their wrists, and the Warrior Spirits, who were unable to see the Divine energy, could simply see the golden runic symbols that were being drawn on their skin, appearing bit by bit.
Axel used the runic symbol of sharing and the runic symbol of vision, linking them to his vision of his divine wolf in an intricate design.
Since he had gained all this knowledge after the Creator had used his body as a vessel last time, these runic symbols seemed to appear of their own accord in his mind whenever the situation called for it.
He then explained to everyone, "The Werewolves have a silver aura around them, and those who have corrupted souls have black spots in their silver aura. On the other hand, the Knights of Darkness have a totally black aura, more or less intense and thick depending on their level, and at least now you will know right away who you are fighting against."
Glen then said to him, "It’s amazing! You really always see everything like that. It is like infrared vision, except it allows us to see even more things."
Axel didn’t know what infrared vision was, so he simply said to him, "I only see like this when I activate my hunter special skill, and I only see all these details when I use my Divine Wolf."
"That is still awesome!" Glen said.
Elias then distributed the tasks to everyone, and he and Miguel would take care of the building where those who were in charge of this center were located.
Mykael, Colin, Isaac, and Jordan would take care of the dormitory where the new Knights of Darkness were mixed with the Werewolves who were about to become one.
Then Axel and Kevin had to take care of destroying the installation that allowed the Werewolves to become Knights of Darkness. And finally, Atlas, Tarik, Lanis, Malo, and Glen would take care of the dormitory where the Werewolves with corrupted souls were.
As soon as Elias told them to disperse, Miguel removed his shield, and everyone rushed to their target.
Sirens sounded in the training center, but it was a bit too late as the first explosions had already begun.
The Knights of Darkness were, of course, the first to sense the presence of the strangers in their camp, and although they managed to set off the sirens to warn everyone, they were unable to establish communication with Lilith or with Ulyss and Roman, who were their direct Masters.
Of course, Glen, who was their chief technician and inventor, had long ago created a device that prevented any communication stones from working when they had to fight a battle, and only telepathic links between different people could withstand this technology.
But all the Werewolves and Knights of Darkness here were not important enough to have the privilege of sharing a telepathic link with Lilith, so they were completely unable to call for reinforcements... And worse, they were all trapped inside this impenetrable barrier with no way to escape.
Fighting was their only way out, but they soon realized that those who were attacking them were not ordinary opponents and that they were very powerful.
Elias and Miguel wanted to get rid of the Knights of Darkness as quickly as possible to reduce the risk of their men and those they considered family being harmed by the black flames, so Elias, who hardly ever used his Stage 2, let alone his Stage 3, activated his Stage 2 without a second thought.
Miguel first blew up the building where the Knights of Darkness were by using a gigantic fireball mixed with particles of darkness. And while the darkness particles probably wouldn’t have any effect on the Knights of Darkness, this combination of fire and darkness particles was still the best for creating powerful explosions.
The 8 strongest Knights of Darkness immediately emerged from the flames, and some of them were slightly wounded.
As for the 6 other Knights of Darkness who were with them and were much less powerful than them, 2 were instantly killed by Miguel’s devastatingly powerful explosion, and the remaining ones were seriously wounded.
Elias went after the weakest first, finishing them off by decapitating them with his sword, where golden flames had appeared on the blade.
As for Miguel, he had conjured up his crystal sword and created another sword thanks to the light and golden particles, and he took care of the stronger Knights of Darkness.
When, after only a few minutes, Miguel and Elias found themselves face to face with the last 5 Knights of Darkness who were giving them a bit of resistance, those Knights of Darkness didn’t hesitate any longer and all of them swallowed several black pills at the same time.
These black pills hadn’t been made by Lilith or even by Ulyss or Roman, but by themselves, so of course, their effects were far from equaling those of their Masters, but each black pill could still boost their Stats by 1,000 points.
Miguel smiled then and said to Elias, "You feel that, General? Those little bastards have found a way to boost their Stats. I think we should try to create some golden pills to boost our Stats too. What do you say?"
Elias then glanced at him and said honestly, "If you can prove to me that these golden pills are safe, then do whatever you want. But love, right now, forget it... You haven’t even used your Priest powers against them yet, so what is the use of boosting your Stats?"
Miguel’s smile then disappeared from his face, and the remaining 5 Knights of Darkness, who had just boosted their Stats to the maximum of their capacity, couldn’t help but feel a chill run down their spines, and their hair stood up all over their bodies as Miguel finally said, "You are right, my dear husband. I’m done playing! Let’s join the others as fast as possible!"
