Chapter 530: *I love you*
When Isaac saw that Jordan was starting to sweat and that his left eye, which had turned golden, was becoming unstable, its golden light being more or less intense, he tightened his grip around his waist and said, "Jordan, don’t overdo it. You are not yet familiar with the Angelic Divine element, so it’s normal that you don’t get it right at first. Close your eyes, love, and rest; you just have to be careful that none of your energies takes over the other... I’m here, it’s okay; you’re doing great."
Jordan then listened to Isaac and closed his eyes to take a break. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and tried to relax. Isaac was right; this was the first time he was trying to use the Angelic Divine element, and contrary to when he used the Evil Divine element, he felt a sensation of well-being spread all over his body. But just after savoring this sensation, he immediately focused on keeping this positive energy on the left side of his body so that his two Divine elements wouldn’t come into conflict.
It was really taxing to have to be careful not to mix his two Divine elements, and he had to find a way to associate these different energies with his Divine elements.
Jordan then sighed, and when Isaac asked him if he was okay, he told him honestly, "There is only one way for me to be able to associate my different energies directly to my Divine elements, and it is to get used to them... I will need to practice a lot before I can do it without having to keep my meditative state."
Isaac then told him, "Well, I think you’re doing great, and we have plenty of time to practice, so don’t worry."
He then reminded Jordan, "The morning, Miguel will help you increase your level of mastery of your Divine elements. Then we will loot red dungeons for you to practice during a real fight, and the rest of the time, I will be there to help you use your Divine elements without having any side effects."
Jordan then smiled and said to Isaac, "Won’t you get tired of me if you always stay with me?"
Isaac immediately tensed up because they had never really talked about the upcoming war together and what it involved for him.
There was a tacit agreement between all the Warrior Spirits that each time a great battle was decided... They would all give their lives to keep Elias and Miguel safe because they were the only ones strong enough to put an end to this war.
And even without this good reason, Caleb, Tarik, Iris and himself would do so because they were the first Warrior Spirits to have appeared after Elias, and they all owed him so much... Even now that he finally found someone he wanted to live with for the rest of his life, he wouldn’t hesitate to give his life for Elias and Miguel.
Jordan then asked, feeling suddenly uncomfortable, "Did I say something wrong? Will you really get tired of me..."
Isaac then took him in his arms and said to him, "I love you, Jordan, and I will never get tired of you; don’t be silly."
Jordan then pushed Isaac away and propelled himself as far as he could from him, hitting the back wall of their room, and yelled at him, "Don’t come near me; I’m losing control... Why... Why were you so tense then when I was just teasing you?"
Tears were rolling down his cheeks and all his emotions were in total chaos. He was frustrated and furious because when he felt Isaac tense up, he really thought that he was going to say that he wasn’t serious about him and that he just wanted to have some fun... He had been scared, and he felt betrayed because Isaac had become everything to him, and for him, their relationship was really serious.
Then Isaac took him in his arms and said that he loved him... Jordan was trying to keep his emotions under control, but what the hell was up with this rollercoaster of emotions? How was he supposed to control his emotions now...
Isaac then activated his Stage 2 and walked over to Jordan. Jordan opened his eyes, and the right one was black while the left one was golden... Black flames were covering all his right side while the golden flames were covering his left side.
Isaac couldn’t let Jordan continue like this, so he said to him, "If I tensed up, it wasn’t because of you... I love you, and I want to live the rest of my life with you... But for that, we need to survive this war. If I tensed up, it was because now that I found you, I’m really scared to lose you."
Tears were still rolling down Jordan’s cheeks, and he still didn’t seem able to call back his flames, so Isaac said to him, "Here is a little test, my love. I’m going to come over and kiss you passionately. Will you be able to control your flames and avoid killing me? You don’t have a choice, Jordan; you can control them, love. I know you can; you have made an affinity with both of them, so now focus and show them that you are their master."
Isaac then moved so fast that Jordan didn’t have time to say anything, and Isaac’s naked body came into contact with his.
Isaac kissed him passionately, just as he had promised him, and he intertwined his fingers with his, completely ignoring the pain that he was feeling right now.
His skin was getting burned, but curiously, the black and golden particles didn’t try to disintegrate him, nor did they try to penetrate his body through his skin.
When he stopped kissing Jordan, he looked at him, and Jordan still looked like he was a living torch with his golden flames on his left side and the black ones on his right side. But as he touched his flames, curiously, because he didn’t feel any burning anymore, he saw that his flames were running on his skin without burning him, and most importantly, without trying to kill him.
