Chapter 509: *About ten dummies...*

He then conjured up the legendary-grade sword his father had given him and said to Colin, "This metal is strong enough to undergo a powerful transformation, and even though this sword will never be as powerful as my father’s, it will be enough to help me unlock my powers."

Colin nodded and said, "Okay, go ahead then, and you can even stay next to Kevin if you want. Since you’re only going to tap into the Divine energy, you shouldn’t disturb him."

Axel smiled at him and immediately walked over to where Kevin was. Colin then turned his attention back to Nolan and asked him, "I guess Mykael had all these dummies laid out for your training, didn’t he?"

Nolan nodded and told him, "I was only able to feel and capture Axel’s energy once he reached God level 6/10, and I was only able to concentrate a small amount of that energy over my hand. In the end, the whole process completely exhausted me, and I only managed to destroy about ten dummies with the golden ball I obtained."

Colin’s eyes widened, and he repeated, dumbfounded, "About ten dummies... In one go?" 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Nolan nodded; he was getting better now that he had drunk the miracle remedy of his little rabbit, but Colin’s reaction surprised him a little bit, so he asked him curiously, "Why do you ask... ten dummies is ridiculous, isn’t it?"

Colin almost choked when he heard this and then asked him, because Nolan seemed really disappointed with this extraordinary result, "Did Mykael, by any chance, forget to tell you the level of these dummies?"

Nolan looked at him puzzled and asked, "What do you mean by the level of these dummies...? Can dummies have a level?"

Colin wanted to facepalm but he restrained himself; how could Mykael forget to tell him something so important?

He then explained to him, "Those ten dummies you just destroyed in one go were all of level 200, the maximum level a fighter or a mage can reach. Mykael even gave them average Stats regarding our own Stats, and by ours, I mean me and his men."

Seeing the dumbfounded look on Nolan’s face, he told him, "Mykael had created them on purpose so that we could test our attacks on targets that could withstand them. And believe me, it’s rare that we can destroy so many of them with only one attack... That also explains why you were so mentally exhausted."

Nolan could hardly believe it, and he asked Colin, because this changed everything, "So, that means that even if I concentrate less of his energy, my attacks will still be very effective, right?"

Colin smiled then and said to him, "Why don’t you try it with my energy and see... Wait here for a few seconds."

Colin teleported back to the training dimension and retrieved the army of dummies that Mykael had left there.

He teleported back to Nolan’s side, and not wanting to disturb Kevin and Ashton’s training, he put a hand on Nolan’s shoulder and teleported them to another corner of this dimension, where he deployed the dummies in front of them.

Fortunately, the dimension Miguel had created was spacious, so there was no shortage of room, and he then said to Nolan, "Get some more rest; I’m going to check on Mykael, and then I will go to check on Ashton and where Axel and Kevin are at, okay?"

Nolan nodded and sat down on the floor to finish recovering quietly. He couldn’t wait to try capturing energy again, and he couldn’t help but smile because with this special training, he would be able to protect his soulmate no matter how powerful Ashton would become, and this was exactly what he wanted.

Colin teleported back to Mykael’s side and was relieved to see that the changes his body was undergoing were almost over. Just a few more minutes, and then his regeneration ability would be able to help him recover.

As his life was not in danger, he just made sure that he was comfortable, adding a pillow under his head, and then teleported to Ashton’s side.

When he saw that Ashton was sweating again, he put a hand on his shoulder to stop him from meditating, and when Ashton looked at him, still a little lost, he told him, "Ashton, get some rest; there is no hurry anymore. Miguel came himself to see your training, and he already agreed to let you get your affinity with the fire and lightning elements today... So you don’t have to go to the gravity room this morning, and I will stay with you to watch over you, but right now your soulmate is here, and he is resting too. Go tell him the good news yourself!"

Colin then opened a portal just in front of Ashton, and Ashton, after thanking him for everything, went through it with a beaming smile on his face.

Colin chuckled at seeing him so happy, and then he teleported to where Axel and Kevin were. Kevin, with his Stage 2 activated, didn’t need to stay focused to be able to absorb the particles of the elements, and so he was watching Axel modify his legendary-grade sword with curiosity.

When Axel had arrived, he had briefly explained to him what had happened and apologized for not telling him earlier about the gift the Creator had left him.

But Kevin didn’t blame him because this information had been given to him while it was his wolf side that was conscious, and when the Creator had left and Axel had lost consciousness, it was his human side that was conscious when he had woken up.

After Axel’s explanation, Kevin had asked him for a clarification, concerned that merging his two consciousnesses might be too exhausting for him.

But Axel reassured him, explaining that the new runic symbols adorning his body not only granted him access to the knowledge of the runic symbols but also enabled him to merge his two consciousnesses together without the risk of mental fatigue.
