Chapter 506: *A gift*
Mykael then told Axel, "Son, you are actually at level God 5/10. When you feel at ease with this amount of energy, try to get some more from your golden tattoos."
He then turned to Nolan and watched him closely, but at the moment, he didn’t seem to be able to capture Axel’s energy, so he said to encourage him, "Nolan, stay focused; it’s normal that it’s difficult. If it were that easy to capture the energy from another fighter or mage, you would have already succeeded in doing it long ago."
Nolan did not answer, but he looked determined to succeed, which reassured Mykael. Only with perseverance and determination would Nolan be able to do it, and if he did, then Nolan’s powers would become exceptional.
He had never seen this ability in action with his own eyes, but he had heard about it from the Warrior Spirits. This ability that seemed to be passed down in the Lan family was one of the rarest and most powerful that existed in their universe.
He suddenly felt a wave of super-powerful energy coming from Axel, and when he checked on his son, he told him, "Keep it up, son; you have reached God level 6/10."
Then Nolan exclaimed, "Damn, that’s it! I can feel it... I can feel his energy coming over me; it’s totally mind-boggling!"
Mykael’s eyes widened as he had not expected Nolan to be able to succeed so soon, so he said to him hastily, "Don’t try to absorb it and concentrate it in your hands before releasing it on the dummies, okay?"
If Nolan tried to absorb Axel’s energy, which was Divine, he was not sure that his body could handle it, and it might cause him irreparable damage.
Then Axel, in turn, said to him, feeling a little frustrated, "Dad, I feel like I can have a lot more energy at my disposal, but I’m kind of stuck, and I can’t release it... What should I do?"
Mykael smiled then because he had already thought of this possibility, and so he conjured up his Divine sword, which had become even more powerful after Axel had used it last time.
He showed it to him and told him when he saw his son hesitating, "Don’t be afraid; nothing can happen anymore. The threat is over, and here you can use the power of this sword without worrying about anything. Take it and use its power to unlock yours... Son, you should try to keep strengthening your body against the attacks of the Evil Element. Only you, Miguel, and Elias can resist this kind of attack, so it is very important that you keep strengthening your defenses."
Before Axel took the sword, Mykael said to Nolan to avoid an accident, "Nolan, Axel’s energy is going to undergo a power explosion, so stop trying to capture it for the time being and wait until he is stabilized." Nolan, who had managed to concentrate a small golden ball above his hand, then sent it against the dummies as Mykael told him to do, and this small ball already destroyed a dozen of them, which left Mykael completely speechless.
Well, these dummies were not ordinary dummies; they all had the resistance of an average level 200 fighter, the maximum level that a human, Shapeshifter, or legendary creature could reach. So that was the power of Nolan’s ability; it was mind-blowing.
Nolan then sat on the ground, completely unaware that his performance had rendered the God of Destruction speechless because he really felt exhausted.
After only a few minutes, he was already drenched in sweat, which proved that he was still far from being able to use his ability as he wished.
Mykael then focused his attention back on Axel and said to him while handing him his sword, "Take it easy; if you feel that you are losing control, tell me right away. I will help you to channel your energy."
Axel just nodded and finally took his father’s sword in his hand. This time it was different from the last time; the now awakened consciousness of his wolf side did not try to take over him, and it was more like they were both on equal footing.
As his father had just told Nolan, he felt a burst of power run through his whole body, and still with the help of his wolf side, he began to absorb the divine energy and direct it directly into his golden tattoos to strengthen his body.
His wolf side then said to him, "We can’t always depend on our father’s Divine Sword to unlock this powerful energy; we should create our own Divine Sword."
Axel frowned and asked his wolf side curiously, "Do you have any knowledge that I don’t know about? Because how do you want to create a Divine Sword? We don’t even have Acrium at our disposal..."
His wolf side then said to him, "No need for Acrium; the metal of the legendary sword our father gave us is strong enough. We can use it and modify it... And yes, the Creator left us a gift before he left our universe; let me show you."
His wolf side then connected their two consciousnesses together, and Axel, to his astonishment, received the ability to use the runic symbols as he wished. He could now use them and tattoo them on weapons, items, and even humans. He felt that he only had access to a small part of this knowledge, but it was already much more than he could have ever imagined.
He then focused on how to create a Divine Sword from a metal that could create a weapon of legendary grade, and he immediately received all the information he needed to do it.
He smirked and said to his wolf side, "Alright, let’s do it then; I would rather our dad keep that sword with him to protect him."
His wolf side then said to him, "I totally agree with you!"
