Chapter 367: Paying The President A Visit
Damian stood at the edge of the bed, pulling on his trousers as he glanced back at Loth and Rah, who remained entangled beneath the sheets. Hesitation flickered in his eyes. The temptation to spend the rest of the night with them was strong, but he understood better than anyone how important it was to move quickly. Time was no longer a luxury he could afford.
"Seriously. Wearing your nightwear to meet a president is very improper, even if you are the Prince of Hell," Rin protested while Damian calmly buttoned up his shirt.
"Shut up."
Damian rolled his eyes.
Pa!
The next moment he was holding his cheek where Rin’s tiny paw had smacked him.
Before the fox could react any further, Rah reached over from the bed, grabbed him from behind and lifted the little fox until they were face to face.
"No one abuses my husband," she glared at him menacingly.
Pa!
An instant later, Rin was standing triumphantly on the bedside table while the outline of a tiny paw print decorated Rah’s cheek. She clung possessively to Damian with teary eyes as though she had been the victim.
"Bitch, I’ll abuse whoever I want in this house!" Rin growled without the slightest hint of remorse.
Damian simply facepalmed and let out a defeated sigh.
For some reason, his home always found a way to descend into absolute chaos over the smallest things imaginable.
"I’m guessing you no longer have any interest in the politics of this world..." Loth suddenly asked.
Damian slowly turned toward her and nodded.
"We don’t have the luxury of time anymore."
If he wanted to protect his people, he needed to attain Godhood as quickly as possible.
The White House stood beneath the quiet hours of the night, its brightly lit corridors patrolled by agents who believed nothing escaped their vigilance. Cameras swept every hallway with mechanical precision while layers of security overlapped one another like an impenetrable web. It was a fortress built to keep the impossible out.
The Oval Office was silent except for the muffled laughter of two people who believed they were completely alone.
The President had long abandoned the reports scattered across the Resolute Desk. His suit jacket lay draped over a nearby chair while a woman sat comfortably upon his lap as they kissed passionately. Outside, Secret Service agents continued their vigilant patrols, utterly unaware that the most secure room in America had already been breached.
Space behind the desk rippled without a sound.
Damian stepped out of the distortion as though he had merely walked through an ordinary doorway. He neither concealed his presence nor announced it.
He simply stood there.
The woman noticed him first and her eyes widened. A terrified scream formed within her throat. Before a single sound could escape, Damian casually raised one finger.
"Be silent."
[Decree Successfully]
Buzz!
The invisible command swept across the room. The President’s mouth opened but nothing came out. The woman tried again but not even a whisper emerged. Their bodies instinctively pulled away from one another as panic rapidly overtook them.
Damian remained completely unmoved. His three-pupiled purple eyes calmly observed the pair before him. He had never imagined his first visit to the White House would involve catching the President trying to bury his dick inside his secretary.
"You may relax," he said evenly. "If I intended to kill either of you, this conversation would never have begun."
The President instinctively reached beneath the desk toward the hidden panic button.
Damian glanced at him.
"Don’t move and stay seated."
Buzz!
The President froze halfway through the movement before his arm slowly lowered again. Every muscle obeyed Damian’s command without resistance, leaving only his eyes capable of expressing the confusion and terror rapidly building inside him.
What kind of witchcraft was this?
Who the hell was this man?
Nothing taking place inside this office made any sense.
Even worse, he couldn’t even scream. Only then did Damian step forward.
With a casual flick of his wrist, every classified document slid neatly aside across the desk. In their place appeared dozens of photographs, intelligence reports, financial records and satellite images.
Every page concerned one nation.
Lebanon.
"Read."
He gave the order calmly.
The President was originally too shaken to focus, but Damian remained patient, silently watching him from the darkness.
Eventually, his breathing steadied. His attention gradually shifted toward the documents.
Damian waited several long minutes while the President carefully studied every page one after another.
Only when he was certain the man had finished reading did he snap his fingers.
"Speak."
The invisible restriction disappeared.
The President immediately drew in a deep breath. Every instinct urged him to scream for help.
President Vance, however, was not a fool.
He had already witnessed what this mysterious visitor was capable of.
Even if the guards entered would they truly be capable of protecting him from this monster?
Despite finally regaining his voice, nearly a full minute passed without either of them speaking.
"...Who are you?"
President Vance finally broke the silence with the single question that mattered most.
Buzz!
Within the darkness, Damian’s three-pupiled violet eyes slowly glowed to life. A third eye then opened upon his forehead.
The horrifying sight left both the President and his secretary frozen with terror as cold sweat rolled down their faces.
"God."
Damian answered without hesitation.
"I presume you have heard of the terrorist organization operating beneath the disguise of religion and government."
President Vance forced himself to regain his composure before lowering his gaze toward the documents again.
His attention quickly settled upon one particular photograph.
"The Blood Dunes."
He frowned deeply.
"I’ve seen briefings. But nothing has ever been confirmed."
"They have now."
Damian calmly slid another folder across the desk. Inside were names, bank accounts, military officers, cabinet members and royal advisers Karim Haddad had spent years secretly documenting.
Entire chains of command connected through years of painstakingly gathered evidence.
The President slowly flipped through the pages. His expression darkened with every new file.
"This..."
He looked back toward Damian.
"Where did you get this?"
"That question is irrelevant."
Damian’s voice remained calm and level.
"The important question is whether you intend to act."
Silence once again settled over the Oval Office. The secretary quietly gathered her clothing without daring to interrupt while President Vance continued reading.
Eventually, he closed the final folder.
"What exactly do you want?"
Damian clasped both hands behind his back.
"Launch an immediate investigation into the disappearance of Karim Haddad in Lebanon."
Karim’s photograph gently floated upward from the desk, capturing the President’s complete attention.
"He is the single most important political reformer inside Lebanon. He disappeared shortly after surviving an assassination attempt. I want every American intelligence agency searching for him. I also want an investigation into extremist religious organizations operating throughout Lebanon and every official connected to them."
The President slowly leaned back.
"You realize you’re asking me to risk an international incident."
Thud!
Damian vanished.
In the next instant he stood directly before President Vance, one hand wrapped tightly around the man’s throat as he effortlessly lifted him from his chair.
"Don’t be foolish enough to think this is a request."
Buzz!
President Vance’s eyes widened. The face now inches away from his own was one he recognized immediately.
Judge Hill.
The young, influential judge who had dominated headlines over the past year.
Judge Hill...
Finally, he nodded but that brief hesitation was all Damian needed to see. Humans simply could not be trusted to rely upon their own free will.
[Title Activated: Sovereign of Lust]
[Persuade Used.]
"Do I make myself clear?!" Damian hissed.
"I’ll authorize the investigation and do exactly as you said."
President Vance answered immediately, not daring to hesitate again. Damian smiled faintly before releasing his grip.
The President dropped heavily back into his chair, coughing as he struggled to steady his breathing.
Only then did Damian shift his attention toward the secretary. Unlike the President, she served no further purpose.
Her memories of this night would have to disappear.
The only person Damian truly needed was the man capable of directing the full power of the White House.
