[IT'S ALL OVER!]

Present Mic's voice boomed throughout the exam site.

While some examinees might be disappointed, nervous, or contemplating whether they got enough points to pass the U.A. Entrance Exam, there was one examinee who couldn't be any more thrilled.

"Finally!!!"

Nejire yelled, putting her hands up in the air in celebration, before plopping herself down in exhaustion.

"I'm so tired!"

While she did get a few weird looks from nearby examinees, the ones who were directly assisted by her couldn't help but look at her with gratitude.

It might have only been two or so minutes, but Nejire had spent a majority of that time lifting slower examinees in the Zero Pointer's path with her Quirk before setting them out of the way and repeating that process.

When debris came too close, she used her Swirly Swirl Shield (Tentative Name) to block it as well.

If there was a silver lining, it was that no one was slow enough for the Zero Pointer to get close enough for the robotic arms to be a serious threat.

Nejire's method was more or less a stopgap measure to prevent anyone from getting injured by debris that the Zero Pointer made.

The Zero Pointer itself was extremely slow, befitting its size.

She still wondered how in the world the Zero Pointer came out of nowhere, though.

Her entire body felt sore.

Having to withstand the force that her Quirk generated to fly and then do sharp turns consistently was simply mind-bogglingly exhausting.

'Maybe Shun-chan can cut some slack on the training now that the Entrance Exam is over?'

While Isshun's training was undeniably effective, and yes, she had only a short time to train her Quirk before the Entrance Exam, Nejire sometimes couldn't help but regret her earlier decisions.

Mainly, it felt like Shun-chan always knew exactly when to end training so Nejire would have enough energy to work just as hard tomorrow, yet still feel like she had used up all of her battery that day.

'But with Shun-chan's personality…'

The future was looking bleak.

Isshun often acquiesced when what Nejire asked for wasn't really important, but important things were another matter.

Like forcing her to eat her vegetables!

He never backed down with those…

And training to become a Pro Hero sounded pretty important…

But he did say that it was just tutoring her to get into U.A., so maybe there'd be less of that harsh training…?

"Excuse me…?"

While Nejire was still in thought, appreciating the cool February air, a feminine voice came from above her.

She slowly opened her eyes to see one of the examinees that she had helped.

Using her Quirk to boost herself to her feet, she looked the girl over.

'If I'm not mistaken… she was the girl with the wolf limbs?'

"Oh hi! My name's Hado Nejire!"

Not expecting a sudden introduction, the girl froze for a second before quickly bowing in thanks.

"I just wanted to thank you for helping me earlier!"

"Hmm? Oh, no problem!" Nejire waved it off. "You probably would have outrun it anyway. I just made sure that no accidents like tripping happened."

"I still wanted to thank you! Even though you might not have gotten enough points yet…"

"It's fine, it's fine," Nejire said, because she had destroyed enough Villain Bots to lose count.

Whether it was because of her own poor memory or because it truly was a high enough number, Nejire didn't know!

"But can I see you use your Quirk? I saw it earlier, and it looked so cool!" Nejire's eyes brightened in anticipation, her Quirk activating beneath her as she hovered around the wolf girl.

"Oh um…"

As if put off by her sudden enthusiasm, the girl came up with an excuse and quickly made her leave.

Watching the girl scurry off, Nejire couldn't help but pout in disappointment.

'Maybe I came off too strong? Or was she just too tired? Oh, maybe she has to do something embarrassing to activate her Quirk!'

"Too late to backtrack now. I should apologize if I ever see her later."

'Oh well. Should I just go home now? Maybe Shun-chan made dinner too? The bento earlier was pretty tasty—'

"Well done, everyone."

An old tone, unique from the adolescent voices at the Examination Site, rang out.

She turned her head to that voice to see a face she had really only seen on TV.

"Recovery Girl?!"

That exclamation caught Recovery Girl's attention, though it hardly mattered since Nejire was already hovering excitedly toward her.

"Haha," Recovery Girl chuckled at seeing such a vibrant girl even after such a grueling ten minutes. "Such energy. Though it wouldn't do to use your Quirk after the exam finished."

"Oh!" Nejire quickly released her Quirk, landed softly on the ground, and gave Recovery Girl a sheepish smile. "Sorry about that… habit…"

"No need for apologies." With that trademark 'kind old lady' smile, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a small bag of gummies. "Here, have a Haribo candy."

"Wow, thank you!" Nejire took it and raised it as if it were a treasure. "I'll savor it!"

Her interactions with popular Pro Heroes were normally limited to a distance or through the screen, so having a bona fide veteran Pro Hero personally give her a pack of gummies was a surreal experience.

She had met quite a few sidekicks and lesser-known heroes and even got pictures with them, though.

"Hoho. Well then, child, I should be checking for any more injured children. I hope you pass the exam."

"Ah, sorry for holding you up!" She smoothly moved out of the way. "But can I get an autograph when I get accepted?"

"'When?' Hoho, such confidence. You're free to ask for as many autographs as you want. Though I don't want you to ask for so much, I see them getting sold, hoho."

"I would never!" Nejire rapidly shook her head. "It was amazing meeting you!"

Nejire gave a quick bow in thanks and headed out of the exam site with the other examinees.

Recovery Girl watched Nejire leave with a bounce in her step, a bit bewildered at how she could have so much energy even after that.

Maybe it was just adrenaline.

"Ugh."

Isshun was currently working on the most annoying part of Nejire's costume.

The visor.

Isshun might have photographic memory in this life, but that perfect memory only started from when he first reincarnated.

That meant his knowledge of MHA—already pretty limited—got even worse.

But with that limited knowledge, Isshun remembered that Nejire's costume, while appealing, wasn't appropriate visually or purpose-wise, so he took the task of making it into his own hands.

'…Maybe doing something as far as making Nejire's costume was a bit too ambitious.'

Of course, with the time period, some technology that was considered fiction could easily exist in this reality.

That also meant that Isshun had read quite a few research papers regarding this technology, since he wasn't familiar with any of that.

Understanding the tech itself wasn't that hard; rather, it was surprisingly easy.

The issue was that obtaining the materials to make such technology was either extremely difficult without connections or so convoluted as to be pretty counterintuitive.

Money itself wasn't the issue. The process of using it was.

While yes, he could make a robotic suit of armor with a box of scraps, he couldn't make borderline-fantasy technology with one.

It even came to the point where Isshun was contemplating whether he could create elements through the teleportation of chemical bonds and atoms, but the computational power to teleport something at that scale was egregious, and the current Omniscient Domain couldn't zoom in that far.

Maybe if he had the clearance like those scientists at I-Island, this costume-making schtick would already be finished.

He had already scoured the Takoba Municipal Beach Park for all of the relatively rare materials that were found in small quantities.

Isshun was already wandering tech shops and pawn shops to see if there were any devices with the materials he needed before buying them.

Since it wasn't scrap that anyone owned, he had no choice but to buy tech for the smallest parts and just keep the rest for future use.

He was a good Samaritan who made multiple 'citizen's arrests' every day, so it was obvious that he bought the products instead of just stealing them.

Right now, he had enough materials to make the visor, but he still needed materials for the parts connected to it.

And then he had to code them to work…

…The future was looking pretty bleak.

A/N: WOW A BLINK CHAPTER SO FAST?!

Yes, it's a christmas miracle.

Also, I didn't wanna write Nejire doing allat so I just skipped it, lol. I alr know if I griped about it too much I would crash out and delay the chapter even further. Thank you GreedJunkie for the advice.

For the people who are still waiting for canon, dw. We're getting into canon soon. Not actual mha canon but another VIGILANTES SIDE PLOT(still considered canon).

isn't that cool? Isshun can nonchalantly aura farm again!
