Chapter 41: WASH THE BUILDING
Mr Hernandez ran out of ideas on what to do anymore. If he dares to jump from the window then he is going to end up like a mashed potato when he lands on the hard ground.
Erika smiled when she saw Mr Hernandez’s conflicted face. She would need to talk to her father about all these trouble that was going on in the company.
First, the CEO that he hired to lead the company turned out to be a greedy pig and the workers followed in his footsteps. Even the were were worse. That’s right.
The shareholders, she has not investigated them yet. She will deal with that later, after the pest in her office is removed.
"What is it? You don’t want to jump anymore? Even if you jump and survive, I will still put you in jail but I don’t think you will be able to survive it though," Said Erika to the man who was standing and shaking in front of her. They were at the top floor so he definitely won’t survive the fall.
"You can’t proof anything. No evidence!" he yelled at Erika expecting her to frown but the smile was still on her face.
Erika didn’t bother to say anything to him. A call came in through the telephone and Erika picked it up and answered. After the call ended, she pressed a button on the same remote she used to lock the door earlier and the police officers walked in.
"Officers, please arrest this man", said Erika pointing at Mr Hernandez.
The same captain was quite surprised that in less than three hours, they were arresting another person from this building and this same office. Seems like the lady was doing a clean up on her staffs, the officers thought to themselves.
"And here is the evidence for his confession". Erika handed her phone to the the captain and he pressed the play button of the record. Mr Hernandez’s voice sounded very clearly and every word he said was heard by everyone in the office.
Mr Hernandez broke out in cold sweat. He would have swore that he never saw touch her phone when he walked in which only meant that she had started the recording before he entered the office. He remembered that he just yelled at her saying she had no evidence and more sweat only formed on his forehead.
Mr Hernandez knew that it was too late to ask for forgiveness anymore, so he just kept quiet until the record finished playing. And the police cuffed him and took him away.
"Ms. It seems that you are doing a clean up today, if you need any help then please let me know", the captain said.
"Thank you", Erika responded and he nodded and left the office.
Erika huffed and considered doing what the captain suggested. Maybe she should have the whole building washed but that won’t help get her work done quicker.
Erika called Eve and she immediately came in. "I would like you to find out where all the company funds have been going to,"she knows that Mr Hernandez stole some money but it wasn’t the same amount that always went missing. Others go somewhere, that is for sure. "Also find out what the shareholders do, especially these people", Erika handed Eve the list of people she suspects in the meeting.
Eve nodded and left to go do her work while Erika continued working on the remaining documents until it was time for lunch. She was quite hungry so she headed down to the cafeteria in order to have some food.
Everyone who came her way greeted her respectfully. Of course some people were not happy about the sudden change of CEO but most people were ecstatic about it.

At the Hart Corporations, Adrian was in his office, looking for companies that he needed to partner with. He needs the one that can provide him every necessity for his new project. His company didn’t have as much resources as it did 3 years ago anymore so he needs to find a big company that can improve the Hart Corporations with a single contract.
Many other companies were out of his league until he stumbled upon the Walters Corporations in his tablet.
The Walters Corporations, one of the most successful companies in the country and abroad. This is jackpot, he thought to himself. Now all he needed to do now was to come up with a very good proposal, a proposal that they would never refuse.
Adrain called in his secretary and told her to send an email quickly to them. If he gets this contract, the company will become more powerful. He started drafting some words for his proposal and got immersed in it until someone knocked on the door of his office.
KNOCK! KNOCK!!
Without waiting for the person inside to answer, the latter entered and it was non other than Felicia.
"Adrain, why have you not been picking up my calls?" She asked as she dropped her custom made expensive Chanel handbag on a chair. She had her hands on her waist as if she was looking for trouble.
Adrain looked at her up and down before he frowned deeply. Felicia was wearing a red crop top that looked so tight that it stuck to her breasts and a mini skirt that could show everything under even if she bent down slightly.
"Why are you wearing this?" He asked with an irritated tone.
"What is wrong with what am wearing, Adrain?" She questioned him back.
Frustratingly, Adrian abruptly stood up from his chair and said,
"I have told you several times not to wear clothes like these anymore. For Goodness sake Felicia, you are a married woman", Adrain nearly yelled at her this time. Felicia’s dressing has gotten more revealing as the day passes. It was like she was show booting her assets. It irritated him when he business partners looked at his wife in a lustful way but no matter what he says to Felicia, she wouldn’t take him serious and continue dressing the way she wants.
"And so what? Am a model and I won’t let that to keep me from dressing up" she said. She didn’t find how she was dressing to be wrong. She also loved the compliments that those handsome men would give her, the compliments that her husband doesn’t give her. She knew the motive behind the reason she was dressing that way.
