Chapter 303: KICKED

Speechless, Felicia could only clench her fist even harder as she glared at Monica.

"Don’t you dare talk to me like that," she bites out. "And you," she moved her glaring to Erika. "You’d better give me back my son," she demanded.

"Your son? Didn’t you hear all that I’ve said just a moment ago? Your son is in the orphanage, waiting for someone to adopt him. All you have to do is go there and adopt him," Erika replied with a smirk, knowing fully well that Felicia wouldn’t dare to do that if she didn’t want to get caught.

"You..." Felicia snaps, but no word can come out of her mouth anymore. She’s run out of insults.

"Why are we even wasting time here talking to this witch? Let me call Felix and inform him that we have a gate-crashing guest," said Monica, and without wasting a second, she brought out her phone and intended to dial Felix’s number. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

Seeing that Monica was going to do what she said she would do, Felicia panicked.

"Don’t you dare call anyone here if you want to live," she threatened but Monica didn’t stop. Quickly, Felicia brought out a gun from out of nowhere and pointed it at Monica. "Didn’t you hear what I said? Drop the phone!" She ordered.

Erika’s mouth widened in surprise. Exactly what she thought would happen was going to happen.

"Felicia, don’t do anything stupid," she pleaded.

Felicia raised an eyebrow at Erika with an amusing smile that stretched her lips. "So you are scared that I’m going to shoot your friend?" She questioned Erika despite knowing what Erika’s reply would be to that question. "Do you know how long I’ve always wanted to hold this gun and point it at you, Erika? Do you know how long I’ve waited to shoot you with my own two hands?" She laughed like a mentally disabled woman who was trying to make people believe that there were ghosts in her room.

Subconsciously, Erika placed her hand on her belly. "Don’t do anything foolish Felicia," she pleaded.

"Then tell your friend to drop her phone on the floor," Felicia snapped, turning to look at Monica who still held the phone in her hands, completely frozen at the sight of the gun pointed at her.

Erika turned to look at her friend from behind her and gave a slight dip of the chin. "Do it," she mumbled.

Monica hesitated a little but did it anyway. She bent down and dropped the phone on the ground just like Felicia had demanded.

"Slide it towards me."

Monica made eye contact with Erika and the latter nodded her head again.

With a curse directly at Felicia, she did as the ’witch’ wanted—sliding the phone towards her.

"And you too," Felicia said and Erika didn’t need to look at her to know that Felicia was talking to her. "I don’t want to take any chances with either of you."

Confused, Erika asked, "I thought you were going to kill me. Why are you taking away our phones if you won’t use them?"

"That’s because I can’t kill you here, bitch! I will get caught if I shoot the gun," Felicia replied with a smirk on her lips, enjoying the thought of how she was going to end Erika’s life as soon as they got out of that property.

Erika glanced at the gun that Felicia was holding and realized that there wasn’t any silencer attached to it. Immediately, an idea popped into her head.

Smiling, Erika asked, "And how do you plan to get me out of here when there are so many people who will see you doing so? Or do you think that I will obediently follow you like a fool?" She raised a questionable eyebrow at Felicia.

"Of course, you are going to," Felicia smirked at Erika. "You wouldn’t want me to hurt your friend now would you?" She questioned as the smirk on her face continued to grow.

Erika glared at Felicia but a smile still graced her lips.

"Now come on," Felicia persuaded Erika. "Slide your phone towards me," she reminded her.

Slowly, Erika did as Felicia had demanded and intended to slide the phone toward her. Sensing that Felicia’s eyes were on her hands that were on the phone, she quickly slid the phone and in a blink of an eyelash, Erika grabbed the gun that was in Felicia’s hands and lifted it in the air.

"Let go of the gun," Felicia ordered with a panicked voice. "I said let it go," she repeated.

"Monica, call them now," Erika told Monica but luckily, the latter was already on the mission. Monica’s hand shook as she watched Erika and Felicia battle for the gun.

Erika tried to overpower Felicia from having more access to the gun but unfortunately, she was weak in health. Gripping the gun tighter, Erika fired a few bullets in the air to get some attention and at that moment, Felicia’s panic only increased.

Left with no other option, Felicia raised her leg and kicked Erika in the stomach, and immediately, Erika’s grip loosened on the gun. Panicked, she instinctively covered her tummy as she tried to suck in the pain she was feeling at that moment.

"Erika!" Monica shrieked in shock. Rushing over, she squatted to Erika’s height since the latter was already on the ground, trying to endure the pain she was feeling at that moment. "Are you okay?" She asked but Erika couldn’t open her mouth to speak.

Monica jerked her head to Felicia and saw the evil woman’s hands trembling as she glared at Erika in shock. "You shouldn’t have messed with me."

Out of anger, Monica sprang up to attack Felicia. Quickly, Felicia pointed the gun at Monica but unfortunately, the latter wasn’t scared of it anymore and she still attacked.

Monica wasn’t skilled in fighting like Erika was so she attacked Felicia in the most simplest but painful way—pulling her hair while scratching her face with her long nails.
