Chapter 177: DISGUSTING
"Take her away," Felicia ordered the men and they quickly did as they were told.
The other men also rushed to help Adrian get up while Felicia tried to apply some spirits on him. When her hand was about to touch his face, he swatted it away and the cotton swap ended up flying away.
"What’s wrong with you Adrian? You just got beaten up by Erika and now you don’t want your injuries to be treated?" she indirectly mocked his predicament.
With a glare, Adrian remarked,
"I want my injuries to be treated, just not by you."
With that, he stood up from there and left without letting her speak again.
"How dare he? He should be glad that I want to help him out," she snorted before looking in the direction that the men had dragged Erika away. "So, he still brought Erika here after everything that happened huh? Adrian is shameless," she said to no one in particular.
"What are we going to do to her now that Adrian is here and has warned us not to do anything to her, else, he will send us back to prison?" Mary asked.
After Adrian had seen her arrive together with Felicia the previous day, he wasn’t happy at all. He nearly called the police and sent her back, which was the last thing that she wanted, to go back to jail.
After several convincing arguments, he allowed her to stay but if she crossed her boundaries, it was the jail for her and she believed him. Felicia also was given a warning, she was only allowed to come along because she was the mother and the baby would need his mother. They were no longer a couple even if they were still married. After the insults she had rained on him the day that he found out about her affairs, he didn’t have a single feeling for her and hatred was the only thing that brewed in his heart towards the both of them.
"We just arrived mom, I’m sure that with time, we can think of something," answered Felicia before she stared at the TV where the death of Ethan Anderson was still being announced.
Ethan Anderson had been her earlier target before things took a left turn. If only her secret had not been revealed, then she would have found a way to seduce him and make him leave Erika, but now, he was dead.
Felicia released a sigh before she walked away.
"Where are you going?" Mary questioned her.
Felicia halted her footsteps before she turned to Mary and revealed a smirk.
"I’m going to pay Erika a visit," she said.
"You just saw her acting like a mad woman now, didn’t you? Why would you even want to go see her?" Mary asked with confusion.
"She might be a mad woman now but I will turn her into a crazy woman after I visit her room," said Felicia before she left.
Felicia continued to walk until she saw a maid and questioned,
"Where is Erika’s room?"
The maid quickly pointed at the door before handing a card over to her.
"You will need this to open the door," said the maid. Felicia collected the card and walked towards the door. She opened it and stepped inside before she found another door that required the card. She placed the card on the screen and it opened and the scene before her shocked her to no bounds.
Erika was seated on the bed with her eyes closed and tears falling from her eyes but the room was intact, without the bed being flipped the walls cracked or any injuries on her body from making those attempts.
Felicia had expected Erika to have turned the room upside down but finding it looking intact brewed anger in her chest.
"Erika," she called sweetly but she didn’t bother to hide her mocking tone. "Don’t be so sad about Ethan’s death now," she continued. "If you want, I can kill you and you’ll be with him up there," she pointed above them.
Erika, who had been trying to calm herself down and think of a way to get away from there, opened her eyes to find Felicia’s face covered with a scarf, which she hadn’t noticed earlier.
"What are you doing here?" she questioned Felicia with a low tone.
"I think I should be the one asking you that question," Felicia spat. Her sweet and polite tone couldn’t be found anymore which didn’t surprise Erika one bit. "After stealing everything away from me, you still came back to steal some more," she added as she glared at Erika. "How many times do you want to keep stealing what belongs to me Erika, huh?"
"What are you talking about? What have I ever stolen from you?"
Felicia scoffed, "Are you just dumping or you are simply stupid?"
Her insults didn’t show an effect on Erika’s plain expression.
"You stole Adrian from me, you stole my happiness and you stole my marriage," Felicia accused.
Erika blinked at Felicia twice before she chuckled which embarrassed the latter.
"You must be the stupid and dumb one to think I’ve ever stolen anything from you," Erika remarked. "I think you need to go on a memory lane and remember what happened," she added.
Felicia felt offended and raised her hand, ready to smack Erika but unfortunately for her, the latter was quick to stop it. Erika grabbed Felicia’s hand and used it to turn Felicia around, while she twisted the hand.
"Ahh... you bitch! Stop that! Are you planning on breaking my arm?"
Unknowingly, Felicia’s scarf unwrapped from her face and revealed her hideous glaring scars.
Feeling disgusted by what she was looking at, Erika abruptly let go of Felicia and backed away from her.
"You look disgusting," she remarked.
Feeling embarrassed, Felicia quickly grabbed her scarf and wrapped her face with it before she spoke,
"This was your doing."
Erika released a tired sigh. "Are you seriously going to blame me for everything that you’ve done?"
