Chapter 325: Chapter 324: Mission Complete

A single spear strike from General Long shattered Yi Tianyun’s Fury of Ice, its terrifying power enough to make anyone tremble. Yi Tianyun wasn’t surprised. ’If a Void Spirit Realm expert didn’t have this kind of power, they wouldn’t be called a Void Spirit Realm expert.’

Besides, General Long was decked out in so much Heaven-rank equipment. It would have been pathetic if one arrow had been enough to kill him.

Although General Long had managed to disperse Yi Tianyun’s attack, he was still shocked to his core. The power of that attack had far exceeded his imagination, and the shock intensified when he saw how young Yi Tianyun was.

"Which faction are you from? How dare you break into my Netherworld Prison!" General Long bellowed from a distance before flying over, demanding to know the young man’s origins.

"I’m from the Netherworld Empire, of course!" Yi Tianyun laughed, raising his Ice Divine Bow and firing three consecutive arrows at him. SWISH! SWISH! SWISH! They whistled through the air.

"You dare mock me!" Enraged, General Long swung his spear, easily shattering the three Ice Arrows. Without the power of Fury of Ice, their strength was significantly lower, making them much easier to block.

Yi Tianyun just smiled. Instead of fleeing outward, he ran deeper into the Netherworld Prison, leaving General Long stunned.

’I didn’t expect you to seek your own death by running deeper into the Netherworld Prison... Once I get my hands on you, I’ll make you wish you were dead!’ General Long’s eyes filled with murderous intent.

Yi Tianyun hadn’t been inside for long when a deafening BOOM echoed out. The walls on both sides of the entrance instantly collapsed, sealing it shut. The move stunned General Long. He never would have imagined Yi Tianyun would do such a thing and block his own escape route.

"Do you think blocking the entrance will let you hide inside safely? How naive!"

General Long fiercely swung his spear, and a phantom Blood Dragon roared forward, blasting the rubble away and forcibly carving out an opening. When he charged inside, he discovered that the inner walls had also been smashed to bits. The tunnels were completely destroyed; not a single section was left intact.

’This brat... Does he plan on never leaving this place!?’ General Long seethed. Then he froze, saying in astonishment, "Wait, aren’t there reinforcement Divine Runes here? How could the walls be broken so easily?"

He was dumbfounded. He never imagined a situation like this could occur. Even he couldn’t have broken through these walls so easily, yet that young man had managed it!

’Could it be that he destroyed the reinforcement Divine Runes?’ General Long’s expression darkened. A series of explosions echoed from deeper within, and he became absolutely furious. "Bastard! He’s trying to destroy the Netherworld Prison!"

He charged inside in a rage, but to advance, he had to keep blasting through the piles of stone blocking his way. His speed was drastically reduced, preventing him from easily catching up.

Inside, Yi Tianyun continued his path of destruction, advancing without pause. After swiftly breaking a Divine Rune, he would use his Ice Divine Bow to fire several arrows at the wall, bringing it down. Then he would charge forward again, destroying the surrounding walls as he went.

He passed the mineshaft and gave it only a passing glance before moving on. It was a pity, but this was no time for mining. He could only continue leveling the place, bombarding it from one end to the other. Most of the areas had already collapsed, leaving only one last section.

’I’m just a little bit away from completely destroying this Netherworld Prison!’ Yi Tianyun felt exhausted as he continued his rampage. Thankfully, he had plenty of Recovery Elixirs; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to keep this up.

Firing arrows so relentlessly consumed a massive amount of energy.

General Long’s roar echoed from behind him. A beam of light shot past, pulverizing the rocks into dust, and General Long finally caught up. Despite all the rubble in his way, he had still managed to close the distance.

The moment he caught up and saw Yi Tianyun, he raised his spear and thrust it forward violently. A cold glint flashed as two dragon phantoms coiled toward their target. His Combat Power was nearly forty million!

Unfazed, Yi Tianyun equipped his Phoenix Wings and swiftly dodged to the side. After he evaded the attack, it slammed into the wall behind him. With a tremendous bang, a large section of the wall collapsed. It was far more powerful than his Ice Divine Bow.

"Thanks for the help," Yi Tianyun said with a smile before quickly dashing deeper inside.

This sent General Long into a furious rage. He gave chase again, raising his spear and thrusting it forward once more. This time, a terrifying power instantly locked onto Yi Tianyun!

It gave Yi Tianyun the distinct feeling that he couldn’t escape. No matter how he dodged or fled, there was no getting away.

’We’ll see how you escape this time!’ A glint flashed in General Long’s eyes. Just as he was about to unleash his power, a giant boulder fell from above and smashed right into him!

With a loud CRASH, the feeling of being locked on instantly vanished. Yi Tianyun smiled. "Looks like you have some terrible luck, for a rock to just happen to fall on you like that."

He chuckled and continued his escape. He had been about to use his Shadow Cloak to withstand the attack, but it seemed unnecessary now that the falling rock had interrupted General Long.

’Just a small part left. Once I destroy it, I can get out of here...’

The Netherworld Prison was massive; he couldn’t possibly destroy the entire thing. But he could destroy all the cells. As long as he destroyed all the cells, he would leave immediately, regardless of whether the mission was complete or not. Otherwise, General Long would eventually catch him.

"Fury of Ice!"

Upon reaching the Forbidden Spirit Zone, he dispelled its Divine Rune. Just as the cooldown ended, he immediately unleashed his strongest attack, blasting it right at the Zone.
