Chapter 319: Chapter 318: Capture

Earth Dragons were Demon Beasts with Dragon Race bloodline. They could not fly and were primarily known for their formidable Defense Power. "Saintess, don’t worry about us! Just go, quickly!" the Spirit Race Ancestor urged from the side, signaling for her to flee. He desperately wanted to help, but he simply lacked the strength. It was a miracle he could even walk, let alone fight in a major battle.

"Let them go first!" Ye Qingxuan bit her lip, tossing out several more Blast Flame Talismans in quick succession. They instantly detonated against the descending Earth Dragon.

The sound of explosions rang out again, but the descending Earth Dragon’s speed did not slow in the slightest. The blasts only managed to knock it back a tiny bit, and its massive body continued to press down, intent on crushing her flat.

Ye Qingxuan paled and quickly scrambled to the side, but the Earth Dragon’s descent was a notch faster than her retreat! Just as she was about to pull out another Divine Talisman, a figure shot over and slammed violently into the Earth Dragon.

The entire Earth Dragon was sent flying, a large section of its chest caved in. The intense pain made the beast howl in agony. A moment later, a red figure landed on the ground. It was none other than Yi Tianyun!

His body was covered in Dragon Scales as his Dragon God Bloodline erupted. He had met the Earth Dragon head-on, and surprisingly, it was the incredibly tough beast that had been sent flying.

"This level of toughness... it’s still a bit lacking!" Yi Tianyun snorted. He quickly appeared at Ye Qingxuan’s side and said, "Hurry and lead them out! There are no guards outside!"

He had led the charge outside and only came back to help after confirming the coast was clear. Just as he re-entered, he saw the Earth Dragon bearing down on them. He instantly flew over, and thanks to the explosive speed of his Phoenix Wings, he immediately collided with the beast.

Ye Qingxuan nodded and quickly led the Spirit Race in retreat, leaving Yi Tianyun to cover the rear.

’Who the hell is this kid? How is he so powerful?’ The Dragon Soldiers were stunned to see Yi Tianyun send an Earth Dragon flying. They had rarely seen anyone dare to clash head-on with an Earth Dragon, but now they were witnessing it firsthand.

"Who cares who he is! Just crush him!" another Dragon Soldier yelled, not giving it a second thought. Seeing more and more Cultivators escaping, they were growing anxious. If General Long returned to this scene, they would face severe punishment.

ROAR!

After recovering for a moment, the Earth Dragon that had been knocked away charged at him again, roaring with rage. As a creature with Dragon Race Bloodline, its pride was immense. How could it not be furious after losing a contest of strength against a human?

’Interesting. These Demon Beasts aren’t half-bad...’ Yi Tianyun had originally planned to summon his Black Dragon to fight them, but upon seeing these Earth Dragons, he had a different idea.

He stomped hard on the ground and shot toward the pouncing Earth Dragon. In the blink of an eye, he was above its head, and he brought his foot down in a vicious stomp.

Yi Tianyun then landed on its head. A light shone from his hand, enveloping the Earth Dragon as he uttered a single word: "Capture!"
