Chapter 979: Transporting The Kingdom
Yuan and Anna Grace entered the palace, drawing many curious glances from the succubi as they continued walking through the halls.
"Hey, aren’t they the humans who came here before the war?"
"They are. There’s no way I could forget that handsome face."
Soft murmurs followed them as they made their way to the royal chamber, where Lilith was already waiting.
The moment they entered, Lilith greeted them with a bright, almost excited smile.
"Yuan, you came so quickly! I wasn’t expecting you this soon!" she exclaimed before rushing over to him without even noticing Anna Grace beside him.
Completely caught up in her excitement, she wrapped her arms around Yuan in a tight embrace and rested her head against him, her cheeks quickly flushing crimson.
"Ahem!"
Anna Grace cleared her throat, reminding Lilith that Yuan had not come alone.
Lilith blinked and finally noticed Anna Grace standing calmly beside Yuan.
Her face instantly turned bright red, and she hurriedly let go of Yuan before taking a few steps back.
"I-I’m terribly sorry! I was so happy to see him that I didn’t even notice you were here," Lilith apologized immediately, her face burning with embarrassment.
"It’s alright. After all, you’re my daughter-in-law now," Anna Grace replied with a gentle smile, deliberately keeping her tone warm and welcoming.
’What?! She’s Yuan’s mother...? But how? She looks so young!’ Lilith cried inwardly, completely stunned.
"Y-You’re really his mother? I honestly thought you were one of his wives..." she asked in a trembling voice as she looked Anna Grace up and down.
"Well... you’re not entirely wrong. I’m more than just his mother," Anna Grace replied with a knowing smirk.
Hearing that, Lilith was left speechless for a brief moment, though she quickly composed herself.
"So, how are the preparations going? Are your people ready to move into the Secret Realm?" Yuan asked once Lilith had calmed down.
"Yes. I’ve already informed my people about the plan, and they’re prepared to relocate," Lilith replied with a nod. "However, they also asked that you take responsibility for their safety and well-being once they enter the Secret Realm."
"That’s only natural. I have no objection to those conditions," Yuan replied with a reassuring smile.
"Wonderful. Then when will you be able to move the kingdom into the Secret Realm?"
"If you want, I can do it right now. But first, you need to order everyone to remain inside the city and make sure no one is outside when we begin."
Lilith nodded and rose from her seat.
"In that case, I’d better make the necessary arrangements immediately. I don’t want anyone to be left behind."
"Good. Once everything is ready, come and let me know. I’ll move the entire kingdom into the Secret Realm at once," Yuan said with a smile.
Lilith nodded happily. Before leaving, she gave Yuan a quick hug and a light kiss on the cheek, then hurried out of the chamber.
"She’s becoming awfully attached to you..." Anna Grace remarked, giving Yuan a pointed look that made him instinctively flinch.
"Well... I suppose it can’t be helped. We only started our relationship yesterday, and everything is still new to her. She’s just excited," Yuan replied with a helpless smile.
"I suppose that makes sense..." Anna Grace looked at him thoughtfully before asking, "Have you told her about cultivation yet?"
"No, not yet," Yuan replied, shaking his head.
"But I plan to tell her later today. I might even help her begin cultivating."
"Good. Tell her everything once we return to Nerith’s palace. We can even use the arrays there to make her cultivation journey as smooth as possible."
"Indeed. However, I still need to find a cultivation technique that suits her perfectly—one that is compatible with her physique," Yuan replied with a smile.
While waiting for Lilith to return, Yuan searched through the cultivation techniques stored inside his system. There were countless manuals, carefully organized within his storage.
After a few moments, he found several techniques that would suit Lilith. However, he wasn’t entirely sure which one would be the best choice.
"I think this Eternal Night Scripture would suit her perfectly. It not only strengthens the mind but also tempers the body. In my opinion, it’s an excellent cultivation technique." Yuan handed the manual to his mother for her opinion.
"Indeed. It’s an excellent technique. Not to mention... this is a Divine Grade cultivation technique," Anna Grace said with a smile after examining it before handing it back to him.
"A Divine Grade cultivation technique for a divine beauty. It seems like the perfect match, don’t you think, Mom?" Yuan asked with a playful smirk.
"Hmph! She may be beautiful, but she’s nowhere near my league," Anna Grace snorted, shooting him a warning glare.
"Absolutely," Yuan agreed with a smile as he gently pulled her a little closer. "After all, you’re my mother. To me, you’re a goddess."
"Hmph! Don’t think your sweet words are going to flatter me now, darling," Anna Grace replied with a dangerous smile. "Because they won’t work on me."
"I’m only stating the truth," Yuan answered with an innocent smile.
A few moments later, Lilith gracefully entered the room, her face glowing with excitement.
"Everything is ready. We can begin whenever you are," she said before instinctively pulling Yuan into a warm embrace.
"Did you make sure no one was left behind?" Yuan asked.
"I checked twice. Everyone is inside the city. You can move the kingdom into the Secret Realm now."
"I see... In that case, let’s begin," Yuan replied before walking out of the chamber.
Anna Grace and Lilith followed closely behind him.
Once they were outside the kingdom, Yuan hovered in the sky and looked down at the city below while Anna Grace and Lilith stood beside him.
A small blue orb emerged from his chest, surrounded by several golden rings that revolved around it on their own.
"So... this is the Secret Realm..." Lilith murmured, her eyes filled with wonder. "It’s so small, yet it contains an entire world inside..."
A moment later, the orb floated into the air and released a brilliant golden radiance. The entire kingdom was enveloped in light before gradually disappearing into the orb.
Within only a few seconds, the entire kingdom had vanished, leaving behind an empty landscape as though it had never existed.
Yuan stored the orb away before turning toward Lilith.
"Come on. Let’s make a few adjustments to your kingdom inside the Secret Realm."
Lilith nodded excitedly, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
The next moment, a portal appeared in midair. Yuan stepped through it first, followed closely by Anna Grace and Lilith.
The instant they entered, Lilith’s eyes widened in astonishment as she looked around at her surroundings.
"T-This doesn’t look like an artificial world at all..." she muttered in a daze.
She could feel the warmth of the sunlight on her skin and the gentle breeze brushing past her face. How could such a world possibly be artificial? How could anyone create something so real?
"The sky you’re seeing is actually artificial. It’s an illusion created by extremely powerful arrays," Yuan explained after noticing the astonishment on her face. "Everything else, however, is completely real."
"What?! Really??" she exclaimed in disbelief.
’How could the sky be fake? It feels so real...’ she thought inwardly, finding it almost impossible to believe.
"You can go and explain the situation to your people. In the meantime, I’ll make a few adjustments around your kingdom," Yuan said.
"Alright," she replied with a nod before leaving Yuan and Anna Grace alone.
When they entered the Secret Realm, Yuan had deliberately opened the portal directly in front of the location where he had relocated the kingdom.
After Lilith left their side, Yuan created a powerful barrier around the kingdom, enclosing an area of nearly twenty square kilometers.
The Secret Realm itself was vast—almost as large as an entire continent.
The barrier prevented the people from leaving the designated area while also keeping monsters above the Spirit Warrior Realm from entering.
With the strength of the succubi, they could handle Spirit Warrior Realm monsters without much difficulty. However, anything stronger would pose a serious threat.
The barrier would also protect them from the cultivators living in this world. Having already experienced how arrogant many cultivators could be, Yuan had no intention of exposing Lilith’s people to unnecessary danger.
Once he finished making the necessary preparations, he took Anna Grace’s hand, and the two entered the kingdom.
By the time they found Lilith, she had already finished explaining everything to her people.
Although everyone was shocked to learn that they had been transported to an entirely different world, they gradually accepted the situation and resumed their daily routines.
"Have you finished everything?" Lilith asked as soon as she noticed them approaching.
"Yes," Yuan replied with a smile before explaining everything he had done.
After hearing about all the preparations Yuan had made to ensure the safety of both her and her people, Lilith couldn’t help but feel deeply touched.
"Thank you... for everything, Yuan," she said softly before wrapping him in a warm embrace.
Overcome with happiness, she gently kissed him, and the two quietly shared the moment before finally pulling apart.
Seeing the scene, Anna Grace could only sigh helplessly and shake her head with a faint smile.
After spending some more time inside the Secret Realm, the three of them left and returned to the Demonic Continent.
When they arrived back at the palace, they discovered that Lily and the others were still cultivating inside the training room.
"Let’s not disturb them, shall we?" Anna Grace said to Yuan with a smile as she quietly closed the door.
"Of course," Yuan nodded.
"Um... What are they doing?" Lilith asked curiously, a puzzled expression appearing on her face.
"They’re cultivating," Yuan replied with a smile. "I’ll explain everything once everyone comes out of the training room."
