Chapter 190: 190. Emergance of a new fort

Instead, the scroll expanded and from the scroll, Jin saw an endless silver river which has no beginning and no end. From the scroll Jin sensed something but he couldn’t point out what that was.

Jin was confused but Aion was stunned when he saw this. He put away his playfulness and looked at the scroll. He took a step forward and spoke,

"I never thought the ancient picture would fall here. It is truly surprising."

Jin looked at the scroll and then he looked at Aion with a questioning gaze.

Aion looked at Jin and explained,

"This scroll belonged to the last protector of the river of time. When the great protector of the river of time died, the treasure that he refined for more than forty eons appeared in the universe and this caused a huge blood bath.

This treasure was none other than this scroll.

From what I know, this scroll contains the power of the river of time itself and this is also the reason that many powerhouses fought to get this treasure. But this treasure had its own will and it disappeared just when the chaos settled."

Jin and Nox heard this and they were stunned. Jin looked at the scroll and the image in the scroll. He now understood what this river is.

He looked at Aion and spoke,

"What is the name of this treasure and what are its uses?"

Aion looked at Jin and he smiled,

"This scroll is called the Time River Scroll. It has the ability to control the time in the scroll. It can be ten times faster or a hundred times faster. There is also another ability which is to slow the time in the scroll."

Jin heard this and his mind went blank. This is an ability that can change the outcome for anything. He looked at the scroll and then he decided and unfolded it and looked at Aion.

He spoke,

"Aion, this scroll is for you. I don’t think that it is suitable for me and I am not even aware of its uses."

Aion was surprised when he heard that. He looked at Jin and he felt his heart melt. A thing that caused the history to change for the universe itself and Jin didn’t need that thing despite in his hands.

He didn’t reject that scroll because they both remain attached to each other.

He looked at Jin and asked,

"Have you decided to take the next step?"

Jin remained silent for a few minutes before answering,

"Indeed. Senior spoke the truth. I need to learn leadership and I also want to see those from the outside."

Aion became serious when Jin mentioned that. He spoke,

"Then be careful. Below the divine level, many will arrive at this place. You might not know but this place is the only place in the entire galaxy which holds vitality. Some clans even come to seek treasures that might be beneficial for their clan elder."

Jin listened quietly and nodded.

In the end he shook his head and spoke,

"But all that is important when there is strength. I will be cultivating now and then we will handle what to do."

Aion and Nox nodded. Jin looked at the bed and sighed. He came and sat on the bed. The next moment, the huge building seems to come alive. A tremor appeared and it spread as far as it could.
