Chapter 188: 188. The true secret of the cave

A faint voice sounded,

"You have gone too far."

With that voice, the left sleeve of Jin glowed green and a light shot forward and appeared in front of the three. A little snake appeared. But it was different from the past one. The eyes of this shake are shining gold. He looked at the seal and the phantom.

The phantom was stunned when he saw the green snake and the seal trembled slightly.

"How are you still alive?"

The snake didn’t respond to him. It merely looked at Jin and spoke,

"Little guy, thanks to you that I was able to descend in this body. As a thank you, I’ll give you a gift and we will talk later."

Seeing that he was being ignored, the phantom trembled slightly and the seal descended on his hands. He waved his seal slightly.

But before he could do anything, the green snake cast a look at him and spoke,

"Annoying.

Disperse."

With that, to the shock of everyone, the phantom cracked and the seal started to disintegrate. The hound was also stunned. He quickly pulled out something and then crushed it.

The snake looked at the hound who is now a human. He snorted and then the human spurted blood before disappearing.

Finally, the green snake looked in the direction where a lot of strange energy was present with vitality. In the depth of its eyes, a disgust flashed.

The little snake analysed everything and finally it looked at Jin, Nox, and Aion. All three of them were seriously injured and Jin was the most injured among them. The little snake also sensed the lingering aura of the strange aura with vitality on him.

It already guessed what might have happened. The snake looked gently at Jin and then it blew a green wind towards the three. As the wind flew towards the trio, they sensed a huge vitality and didn’t reject it. As the wind passed by them, they all healed rapidly.

Jin sighed in relief when he saw that the injuries on Aion were healed.

He looked at the snake and spoke awkwardly,

"It seems that I can’t call you little green anymore. So, who might you be and this junior thanks for intervening just now."

The little snake merely laughed slightly and then shook his head. It spoke,

"I am afraid that I can’t reveal my true identity but I am also thankful for what you did just now. I was able to discover what Virelia is going through and what I need to do in future."

Hearing this Jin was confused but Aion spoke,

"You are the Mother Tree of Virelia. This body is dead but with your intervention, there is no decay and this is opposing the universal law."

The little snake was stunned and then it looked at Aion with a deep look and when he met Aion’s gaze, a deep tremor ran in the little snake.

It sighed and spoke,

"It is indeed as you said. I humbly apologise for not recognising you before this."

Aion didn’t care about such formalities. He directly spoke,

"Why not get to the purpose directly."

The little snake paused before it nodded.

"Some time ago, I sensed an aura that caused the entire Virelia to tremble. I didn’t know what that was so I sent this body to investigate. There I saw this little guy. His fighting style got me interested and the spiritual energy from him reminded me of someone and I was sure about that.

This little guy is related to the being who descended in this world. So, I decided to follow him but at that time, I also had to hide myself from that guy as he is on the same level as me. But there must be someone behind him.

I never expected that so much had happened in those years."

Jin looked at the snake and asked,

"But senior, why choose me and can’t you sense your own galaxy. From what I learnt, you are the life core of this galaxy."

The little snake laughed and spoke,

"Indeed, I am the life core but do you know the meaning of the life core of a galaxy or universe?

Every life essence that is born in this galaxy is passed through me. As they grew stronger, I also got stronger. But if they grow weak, I’ll start to fall weak. A life core means the vessel that carries the lives of a plane.

In a way, I am a restricted being despite being in a divine realm and Virelia is the only galaxy in the universe that is brimming with this life aura. Many others also came here to get opportunities. And the time is not far when Virelia is going to open it for others.

I want you to be the host of that and the leading one for that. If possible, I want to deal with this issue by then. And if I am not wrong, then those beings want to take this life and vitality and create something new and introduce to this universe.

I can sense that there is a huge suppression of the divine beings from the universe itself and this is also the reason that I can fight them even now. The snake continued to talk and Jin only understood half of it but Aion understood everything. Finally, the green snake paused and spoke,

"This cave is the experiment of the merging vitality with their disgusting aura. I can sense that this entire plane is being corrupted in the same way and only a few places are still present.

Little guy, can you promise me to help in this phase and I’ll make sure that you will become the youngest divine being with my assistance. I can sense that the path you took is not the same as the others and this is the perfect place for you."

Jin lowered his head and became thoughtful. Aion and Nox didn’t disturb him. They both know that Jin has to face challenges to grow.

Finally, Jin looked at the little snake and spoke,

"Senior I am willing to assist you but not for some reward. I can sense that Virelia needs to clean itself from traitors and it also needs to heal the wounds it suffered from others."

Hearing this the little snake paused and then nodded,

"Very well. Then I shall leave a little mark on you and this will be a lot more helpful for you. I can’t guide you in spiritual cultivation but I can guide you in soul cultivation and body essence."

With that the snake glowed slightly and a mark condensed on Jin’s right wrist. It was the phantom of a green snake which was wrapping around the wrist and above the head of the green snake, there was a tree branch.

Jin looked at the symbol in daze.

The little snake continued,

"Let me deal with one last thing and then I’ll leave. I only had one purpose and that was to meet with the person and I achieved that. How far you will go will depend on you."
