Chapter 184: 184. Fight

After the clash, strong energy waves radiated and they all reached the eggs. Some of the weaker ones had already burst open.

After the clash, everyone saw the shield start to crack. Seeing that the three were safe, they sighed in relief but before long, they heard the roar of their leader,

"How dare you."

When Jin and Nox were going to clash, the eight figures looked at them with great interest and they were completely relaxed. But the next moment, all their expression froze because within a few seconds, the two fighting were devoured by the snakes and the shields were cracked on the other three sides.

Just then, they saw a tail swinging at the three who were still alive and their leader immediately roared,

"How dare you."

But it was already too late. The tail meets the three and with no suspense, it smashes against them and they are dead.

Everything happened so fast that no one got the time to react. And the leader barked in anger,

"Good. Good. Good. We all underestimated you both. It seems that you are not like the trash that we met in the past."

Jin and Nox stood together and looked at the eight figures opposite to them without saying a word. They just took a moment of peace to reduce the burden because they knew that this was the only chance and they took it.

The leader looked at Jin and Nox and spoke in a cold tone,

"I have decided. I will not kill any of you. I will make you the deceased puppets and make sure that you will kill your own kin with the sanity that remains inside you."

Jin ignored all his nonsense and looked at Nox. Nox nodded and then they looked at their opponents. Their meaning was clear. Fight.

The leader was stunned but then he laughed in anger and spoke,

"Great. It seems that you are not a great listener. You four go to deal with that black haired youth and others will follow me to deal with this strange creature. But don’t you dare to underestimate them.

And this black youth is not human so be careful."

With that, he took a step forward and the space below him cracked slightly. Behind him three followed and the remaining looked at Jin with poisonous eyes.

Jin separated from Nox and then he led the other four to the other side of the cave. Nox looked at Jin and then his gaze shifted to the leader and the other three behind him. His expression turned serious.

He didn’t waste any words. Just like the leader, he took a step forward and his form started to shift.

"Dragonification."

With one word from Nox and his entire being shifted. Seeing the transformation, the leader narrowed his eyes and spoke,

"a true dragon. No wonder. No wonder."

Everyone knew that dragons are the true leaders of fighting with superior strength and race. His expression also turned serious because he knew that this fight was not going to be easy.

After the transformation, Nox took the initiative to attack them.

He disappeared instantly and the leader squinted his eyes slightly. Because it happened too fast and the next moment Nox was in front of him.

The leader also punched Nox. Nox clenched his fists and met with the punch. The space cracked the moment the two clashed.

The other three also regained their momentum and attacked Nox from the other three sides. Nox didn’t care about them. The scales on his body are enough to defend him from those attacks.

He put a bit more strength in the punch and then he shook the leader. Immediately, Nox swung his tail at the attack coming from the back and a Yin-Yang diagram appeared on his feet. The two attacks from the sides clashed with the black and white.

The leader spoke,

"Be careful of that art."

With that, he once again punched Nox to distract him. This time, he took out a sword and slashed at Nox.

Nox sensed danger from the sword. He narrowed his eyes slightly and the wings behind him appeared in front of him in defensive form.

The wings turned from black to black and white and the next moment the sword attack arrived. The wings clashed with the sword and Nox was pushed back. After making a distance of more than two hundred meters, he stopped and his wings retracted behind him. The scales on the wings were slashed by the sword.

He looked at the leader and spoke,

"This is not a normal sword."

The leader smirked and spoke,

"Obviously. This is a fallen rank seven artifact."

Fallen artifacts are those whose ranks fall below the original and Nox knew it. When he learnt that, he became alarmed in his heart.

The leader spoke,

"You all complete the hell hound formation. I’ll buy you all the time."

The three nodded and then they all took position and made some hand seals and started chanting something.

The leader once attacked Nox and the sword flashed with a grey light. After a moment, he slashed the sword at Nox once again.

"Aura slash."

Nox didn’t dare to take this sword lightly anymore. His right hand turned black and his left hand turned white. He made hand seals with both hands and the Yin-Yang diagram below his feet expanded. Various nodes started to appear on the diagram and when the leader saw this, his pupils dilated.

The nodes were so many that he couldn’t count them through his senses but the thing that shocked him the most was the different nodes that lead to different laws. He looked at Nox and a deep fear rooted in his heart along with a deep killing intent.

Nox ignored the leader’s emotions completely and the nodes around him started to move in the direction of the sword slash. Like stars, the nodes moved in front of the sword attack and they started to open the energies inside him.

At the point of contact, flames clashed with the sword but the momentum of the sword didn’t decrease. But other nodes followed behind and covered the sword attack completely. Ice, water, earth, rock, wind, poison, acid, mist, corrosion and many more nodes started to meet the sword.

With so many attacks, the sword energy started to deplete. By the time it reached Nox, it lost almost all its strength. Nox didn’t even use his spiritual energy. He merely touched the attack and it shattered.

Everything happened quickly. From the Dragonification to the next few moves. Not even two minutes has passed and the leader realised that he is weaker than Nox. He gritted his teeth but he still tried to buy some time.

And as if there was a response, a portal appeared behind the leader and the expression on the leader’s face turned into pure joy. He looked at Nox and laughed.

He spoke in an arrogant tone,

"Now let’s see who has the final stand."

With that, he looked behind him and from there, a huge body descended. Along with that body, the faces of the three turned deadly pale.
