Chapter 691: Chapter 691: Where Did This Bracelet Come From?
She didn’t quite understand the meaning of their words.
Just as she was stunned, Noah Drexler’s deep voice rang out again.
"Exactly!" His handsome face was full of calm composure.
"Cough, cough..." Mr. Drexler, unable to catch his breath, suddenly started coughing violently, spitting out a mouthful of blood.
Seeing this, Summer Shawcross was shocked, hurriedly grabbing a tissue nearby to wipe Mr. Drexler’s blood.
She began to suspect that Noah’s sole purpose for this visit was to aggravate Mr. Drexler to death!
As she reached out to wipe Mr. Drexler’s blood, his emotions, which had gradually calmed, suddenly changed when his gaze fell upon the bracelet on her wrist!
He immediately extended his trembling hand and grasped Summer’s wrist.
Summer froze, looked down, and only then realized Mr. Drexler was staring at the Moonstone Bracelet on her wrist.
Mr. Drexler stared at the bracelet for more than a minute, and finally, his face showed an incredibly shocked expression.
The next second, he suddenly raised his head, asking Summer anxiously.
"Where did this bracelet come from?"
Seeing his excited demeanor, Summer was stunned, somewhat bewildered.
Although she had guessed that the bracelet might hold some special significance between Noah’s mother and Mr. Drexler, she hadn’t expected such a huge reaction upon Mr. Drexler seeing it!
She paused for a moment, then honestly replied.
"Noah gave me the bracelet. Is there a problem?"
Upon hearing Summer’s words, Mr. Drexler’s expression grew even more excited, he suddenly turned his head towards Noah by the bedside, asking him emotionally.
"Amber threw this bracelet into the lake back then; how is it in your hands?"
This bracelet had been personally thrown into the lake by Amber, and he had searched for months without finding it. How could it now reappear?
After Mr. Drexler finished speaking, Noah’s expression changed, his calm and handsome face clearly showing a hint of surprise.
Summer also showed a very surprised expression, not expecting Mr. Drexler to say that.
Noah stared at Mr. Drexler for a few seconds, then furrowed his brows, replying in a serious tone.
"It’s always been with my mother."
As his voice slowly faded, Mr. Drexler’s face was full of shock. He couldn’t believe the bracelet on Summer’s wrist...
"How could it be..." The old man was greatly agitated, unable to believe everything in front of him.
Watching Mr. Drexler’s shocked and excited manner, Summer sighed and couldn’t help but say.
"Perhaps she never threw it away at all?"
She could roughly imagine the situation back then, a break between the two, with Noah’s mother throwing the significant bracelet into the lake to show her ruthlessness, but actually not having the heart to do it, secretly keeping it hidden without Mr. Drexler finding out.
In this light, Amber must have still cared about Mr. Drexler at that time.
Unfortunately, the misunderstandings that followed, neither of them willing to lower their heads, led to this regret lasting a lifetime... becoming a lifelong regret.
Thinking of this, her heart suddenly felt unbearably sad.
...
After listening to Summer’s words, Mr. Drexler’s body trembled, and he suddenly took a deep breath!
