Chloe Alden’s eyes were brimming with tears as she tearfully accused.
"Dad, we can’t let those despicable people trample over us! If this continues, who will ever respect the Alden Family?"

Victor Alden again slapped the table hard, looking at Station Director Alden with apologetic eyes.
"Brother, it’s all my fault, I haven’t taught my daughter well, causing you to be humiliated."
Station Director Alden had a bellyful of anger too, but could only glare at Chloe, since even her own father took action, as her uncle he couldn’t very well stoop to bullying the younger, so he restrained himself.

Chloe Alden’s mother, who had been upstairs with a face mask, hurriedly rushed down upon hearing the commotion below.
"Oh dear, husband, why hit Chloe? Chloe, is your face alright? Let mommy see..."
Chloe Alden nestled in Mrs. Alden’s arms, sobbing softly.
