Mrs. Kane’s expression changed instantly. After talking for so long, Simon Sterling finally said he didn’t want Wyatt to marry Nina Monroe.
Then why discuss the bride price earlier!
This was playing her for a fool!

Serena Sullivan followed up, as Wyatt stood up and left the private room with the others.
What once seemed joyful was now empty. As Mrs. Kane watched the members of The Sterling Family walk past her one by one, the feeling nearly drove her crazy.
If The Sterling Family had said they wouldn’t marry Nina from the beginning, she wouldn’t have felt so joyful and complacent.
Now they say they won’t marry!
"Ah!"
Mrs. Kane couldn’t contain her anger and screamed, standing up to flip the table over.
Well, the table was too heavy; she couldn’t overturn it at first, so she should have flipped the turntable on top.
In a short time, soups and shards were all over the floor of the private room.
Nina Monroe, standing beside Mrs. Kane, was startled. She stood up and stepped back, watching as Mrs. Kane stood there, deeply inhaling, feeling both unwilling and furious.
After taking several deep breaths, she took out her phone and made a call, "Surround the members of The Sterling Family for me!"
Did they really think she came unprepared today!
On the way here, she predicted that The Sterling Family would disagree.
She just didn’t predict that they would toy with her and then leave.

As Mrs. Kane turned to leave, Nina stepped forward to grab her hand.
"Let it go!"
"I don’t like Wyatt, please don’t force me to marry him."
Nina had said this before, but Mrs. Kane didn’t pay it any mind.
"Nina," Mrs. Kane turned her head and said coldly, "Things have reached this point. Whether you want to marry or not, you will have to marry. And whether The Sterling Family wants to wed you or not, they will have to wed you!"
She had already texted Felix Lockwood, telling him she had handled the matter.
Wasn’t this making her eat her words with Felix Lockwood?
"I won’t be happy marrying him."
Nina voiced her thoughts.
"Once you marry him, you’ll be happy."
At this moment, Nina’s thoughts didn’t seem so important, plus Mrs. Kane saw that Nina did indeed have feelings for Wyatt.
Being able to marry someone you like is the happiest thing.
This was Mrs. Kane’s belief!
Nina didn’t stop Mrs. Kane from leaving. She stood there and laughed at herself.
"Mom, don’t blame me!"
Since Mrs. Kane was determined to have Wyatt marry her, Nina wouldn’t hesitate to oppose her.
After Simon and the others came out, just when they reached the lobby entrance, they saw reporters coming over. He slowed his pace and said to Wyatt, "Take your mom to the parking lot!"
"I’m not going." Wyatt replied seriously.
The trouble was his, and he wasn’t a coward.
"With so many reporters here, it’s good. Let Brother clear things up, so we don’t have to have a press conference later."
Serena suggested.
When they first arrived, they saw reporters waiting here. Now, seeing so many gathered, she just felt it was quite good.
She was afraid the reporters wouldn’t show up!
