Chapter 1709: Chapter 1709: His Greatest Weakness (3)
"I really appreciate you coming to visit me." The professor, a lady in her sixties, smiled as she watched them in the piano room.
Song Yi smiled and said, "It’s the least we could do."
"Song, I heard you have another performance coming up in the United Kingdom, right?"
"Yes, I hope you’ll be able to come and see it then."
Gu Anjin chatted for a while as well, but since she hadn’t left London or the school, she didn’t have as much to say as Song Yi.
More often, her mind felt a bit jumbled.
Especially when she thought about Yue Siqing’s recent strange attitude, it made her particularly unsure about her decisions.
Every resolve she made was easily changed.
"Jinjin, let’s go," Song Yi said with a smile after finishing his conversation with the professor, "Let’s go have dinner."
"Sure." Gu Anjin said to the professor, "See you tomorrow."
Walking out of the piano room, Song Yi put his hands in his coat pockets, "What do you feel like eating? How about going to your favorite Chinese restaurant we used to go to?"
"My favorite Chinese restaurant?" Gu Anjin was taken aback, "How do you know which is my favorite Chinese restaurant?"
Song Yi smiled mysteriously, "You forgot, we used to have several dinners together back then."
"Oh my, that was years ago." She couldn’t help but smile, taking a deep breath, "I almost forgot, but you remember so clearly."
"Yes." Song Yi said, somewhat wistfully, "I didn’t expect to remember it so clearly after all this time. Why not give it a try?"
"Okay, I haven’t been there in a long time, I kind of miss it."
Though Gu Anjin agreed, she was somewhat inattentive.
Her mind wandered to Arthur’s suggestion that they have dinner together tonight, and she involuntarily thought of Yue Siqing.
Whenever Yue Siqing was here, she would be present for every meal.
It was extremely rare for her to leave him and run off on her own.
But the thought of returning and falling into endless indecisive musings made her prefer staying out to clear her mind.
Perhaps having someone to talk with would make the time pass faster.
In Chinatown, the two of them strolled around casually.
Before entering the restaurant, they suddenly heard excited voices nearby, "Oh my gosh, are you Song Yi, right?"
Song Yi turned his head and saw several young women looking at him in surprise, to which he simply nodded and said, "Hello."
"What a surprise, we didn’t expect to bump into you here. Can we take a photo with you?"
Song Yi hesitated for a moment but eventually nodded.
Gu Anjin smiled and offered, "Shall I take the picture for you?"
When the young women looked at her, there was a hint of curiosity until someone suddenly said, "It’s you. You’re the special guest who appeared at Song Yi’s concert that day."
Gu Anjin usually went without makeup, even at the concert, looking almost identical to her usual self.
Getting recognized was indeed normal; she was just surprised she could be remembered.
"Yes, that’s right."
The female fan praised, "You played so well. Although we couldn’t be there in person, that video was reposted by so many people. When can we see your concert? Have you released any albums?"
Gu Anjin wasn’t meeting her fans for the first time; she had held small concerts in London before.
She was just too niche, so it was rare for her to be recognized again.
Especially domestic fans, this was the first time she encountered them.
