Chapter 1174: Silence
With the deaths of the opposition, Anthony simply stared down at the people of the Acarnis Galaxy and removed his hold over them, allowing motion once more, allowing attacks to flow, allowing mana and energies to move in waves again. But despite Anthony freeing them, none of them moved, as though they didn’t dare to. The entire Rogue Planet descended into pure, mind-boggling silence.
How could they move? How could they make any sound at this moment? They had just witnessed something that completely refreshed their understanding of what it meant to be overpowered.
They had literally seen what seemed like a miniature river of time before their very eyes and watched their opponents within those streams of temporal particles and energy literally be erased. How could anyone witness something like that and then return to normal as though nothing had happened? Even many of the strongest present found themselves struggling to process what they had just seen.
What Anthony had done was basically almost the same thing Aaaninja had done to him in the past during the Starborn Tournament, where Aaaninja had employed one of his Eyes Of Genesis abilities to return to the past and attempt to harm Anthony when he was still a baby.
Anthony had indeed gotten that idea from Aaaninja, but he had taken it a step further with his ridiculous control over Time. He simply summoned the past into the present, then finished his enemies off without physically needing to do anything else.
Aaaninja’s Eyes Of Genesis shone as he deconstructed what Anthony had done down to the smallest detail. With his current control over temporal particles, Aaaninja knew he could perform something similar, but not without assistance. The mana required, the calculations required, and the mental capacity necessary to pull the past timelines of quadrillions of people into the present wasn’t something he could personally accomplish without the help of the River of Time.
But he could at least perform the same attack on a few thousand people without the River Of Time’s help. But as for reproducing the same feat on Anthony’s scale, while he possessed the temporal control required, he lacked in the other areas already mentioned.
Aaaninja could only sigh. He had gotten stronger. He now possessed a diluted form of the Concept of Time, yet it seemed that even with that, he still hadn’t closed the gap between himself and Anthony. It seemed as though every time he made progress, Anthony simply doubled his own. He could only shake his head and accept the matter, as there wasn’t exactly anything he could do about it.
Only if Aaaninja could come to understand that he himself was already far too ridiculous to even exist within a Lower Galaxy. The only reason he seemed normal to himself and people like Lucian was because he simply compared himself to someone like Anthony.
As for Lucian, who knew more about Anthony than even Anthony’s parents, he simply shook his head. Lucian’s only regret was that he couldn’t replicate Anthony’s abilities and talent. If only that were possible. But alas, that remained a fantasy and nothing more.
But just because he knew many of Anthony’s secrets didn’t mean he couldn’t admire the sheer ridiculousness of the display. He simply smiled and accepted it. That was all.
As for Kingsley, he remained completely unbothered, showing no form of emotion as usual. His face remained expressionless, as though he hadn’t seen or understood what had happened, but he most definitely had.
Aura Nova, who was standing amidst a field of corpses, stared at the floating Anthony. Of course, after her seclusion, she had evolved into an entirely different being, nothing like the woman she had once been. Her eyes couldn’t help but flicker at the scale of such an attack. After all, she hadn’t been able to pull off anything of such magnitude since the battle began, especially considering that her Omniedit abilities still relied upon mana to function.
But if there was something she understood at this moment, it was that against Anthony, the majority of the Commands within Omniedit would be useless. Only through Root Access Mode could she realistically hope to affect him.
While her guess was correct, it was also wrong. Alas, at the end of the day, her Human Bloodline was still at a low level, while Anthony’s had already reached perfection.
As for Michael, he could only shake his head. No matter how powerful he himself had become, he was constantly reminded that his son, Anthony, remained above all and below none.
Mitchelle, who could now combine various elements according to her imagination and split them apart on a fundamental level, seemed almost entranced. Witnessing what Anthony had done filled her with inspiration. She could even merge Time and Fate together to perform something potentially even more ridiculous than Anthony’s attack. But of course, that would only be possible if she possessed enough mana. A single attack that had spanned merely one-tenth of the Rogue Planet had made her bleed from her nose and nearly rendered her unconscious.
As for Irene, she tried to steady her breathing as she panted heavily, her body covered in blood and sweat. If it wasn’t for the Gaia Physique, which constantly and passively replenished her stamina and mana through her surroundings and the vitality of her enemies, she knew she would have been in a far worse condition.
She simply cleansed her body, clothes, and hair with her mana, immediately returning herself to her usual graceful state. Her clothes were still torn and ripped apart in several places, but she paid that little attention. And as for Anthony’s attack, she adopted the same attitude as Kingsley: complete indifference, as Anthony’s feat elicited not even the slightest amount of shock from her.
Collins also adopted the same indifference as his wife. Although he had watched his own life play before his eyes and witnessed countless people die from the exact same phenomenon, he simply didn’t care. The user of that attack was his grandson, someone he was immensely proud of. As such, he maintained his indifference toward the entire situation.
He simply flew forward as he decided to close the distance between him and his wife while everyone else continued gazing at Anthony in silence. He hadn’t stayed too close to Irene during the battle because he didn’t want her to break her focus in combat and accidentally get injured simply because he had decided to intervene or distract her at the wrong moment.
Even now, as he moved forward, nobody spoke. The image of countless enemies being erased from existence remained fresh in everyone’s mind, making the silence upon the Rogue Planet feel heavier than ever before.
But despite everyone’s shock, Anthony wasn’t done. He saw the dead bodies, the broken bodies, the blood that flowed freely, the injuries of those who had survived until now, and those who seemed as though they were on their last breath and had only been holding on through sheer willpower at this moment.
Anthony planned to heal everyone back to their peak states while also resurrecting those who had given their lives for this battle without a shred of cowardice or hesitation. Even if they had shown cowardice or fear, Anthony still planned to resurrect them all, as he couldn’t just bring a few people back to life and leave the others behind.
