Chapter 2324: Chapter 2300: They’ve Come Knocking

Salim left happily after receiving the promise.

Gao Yang kept watching Salim’s back, and only when Salim had completely walked out of the yard and closed the gate did he make a gesture towards Glewatov.

He pointed to his ear and then around the place, implying whether there might be listening devices in the room. Glewatov shook his head and said, "No, they don’t have those high-tech gadgets."

Gao Yang breathed a sigh of relief and said to Glewatov, "Honestly, brother, you should have given me a hint earlier. I know almost nothing about the relationships here, initially I couldn’t even tell Salim was on our side."

Glewatov shook his head and said, "Don’t imagine us as all-knowing. I only just found out about Salim’s stance, because the role I played before was too low-key, so I couldn’t ascertain their stance."

Gao Yang waved his hand and said, "What about Rostotsky and Lebyazhef?"

Glewatov replied casually, "Rostotsky is with the Hashid tribe; he successfully gained the trust of the tribe elders. Lebyazhef is still dormant, ready to assist either me or Rostotsky anytime."

"I thought you were all together, can’t believe there are only three of you and you are still splitting up, that’s gutsy!" 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

After giving Glewatov a thumbs-up, Gao Yang said softly, "Do we currently need to compete with Iran?"

Glewatov shook his head and said seriously, "No need, because what Iran wants to do is exactly what we need. There’s absolutely no need to compete with Iran, and there’s no possibility of winning against Iran. Iran is a country, we’re just... a mercenary group, so our goal is simply to establish a foothold here, leveraging your impersonated identity to have some say."

"That’s good, that’s good! That eases my mind a lot."

Gao Yang laughed heartily, feeling relieved not having to compete with Iran, because there was no hope of victory at all.

He glanced at his watch and said quietly, "The main forces have already set off, but everyone has to circle to Bulgaria before flying over. I think they should arrive tomorrow, but at which airport? Can they fly directly to Sana’a? That would make things much easier."

Glewatov came to lay the groundwork; he was well aware of the situation in Yemen.

"No problem, flying directly to Sana’a is the fastest choice. We need to promptly deploy our personnel."

Gao Yang sighed and said, "Speaking of manpower, F**k! That bastard Nate is still withholding my men. It’s been over a month, and he should have sent them over to me by now."

Glewatov raised an eyebrow and asked, "The artillery hasn’t been in position yet?"

"No, they’re not."

"We need people! We need artillery! Artillery is the decisive force in Yemen!"

Without Glewatov saying it, Gao Yang needed people too. Since it had come to this point, he would definitely call immediately.

After taking out the phone and dialing Nate, Nate answered quickly.

"This is Nate."

"Hey, it’s me, Ram. How’s the situation on your side?"

"Not good, we’re in a constant tug-of-war, and my manpower has suffered greatly."

"That’s not right, according to the news, it said the Eastern Ukrainian Militia is achieving victory; it’s the Western Ukraine side that’s suffered heavy losses."

"We achieved victory, but the sacrifices are still significant, and we’ve lost too many people."

"Oh, I see, losses are inevitable in war. But my people are okay, right? No one’s injured or dead?"

"Your people? Who are your people? That Lilia? She’s fine, you don’t have to worry."

Anger surged in Gao Yang’s heart, and he raised his voice sharply, "Nate! Why are you pretending to be stupid with me!"

"I’m not stupid, and I’m not pretending."

"Alright, what about my artillery? You said you’d send them over once the war finished, and now it’s been a month. I delivered your borrowed money, F**k! Where are my guys?"

"Ah, you’re talking about that? I indeed need manpower now, especially experienced veterans."

Gao Yang was silent for a moment then gritted his teeth and said, "I see, you bastard, you’ve been wasting my time just to default, right?"

Nate unabashedly said, "I lack people and money. If you really need those men, I can arrange to have them escorted to you right away, but you’ll have to lend me some more money, not a lot, just 10,000,000. I’ll give you collateral."

"10,000,000? Say that again!"

"1,000,000 would work."

"How about 100? Listen, Nate, are you really planning to default?"

Nate was silent for a moment. As a mercenary, the cost of defaulting was too high, so without thinking for too long, Nate said quietly, "I really need manpower now, how about letting me use them for another month? Just one month will suffice."

"No way, not even a single day. I’m already in Yemen now, and you’re telling me another month? Let me tell you, I need people immediately, for money, I’m in urgent need myself, it’s good enough that I didn’t ask you to repay, no support is possible, but instead of money, I can give you some good stuff."

"What good stuff?"

Gao Yang’s eyes fell on the suitcase just sent by Abdullah, he laughed and said, "Coffee, Yemeni coffee, top-notch, only produces a few pounds a year, it used to be directly bought by the Shah Royal Family. Now I just got four pounds, even the box was specially provided by the Royal Family, the taste is superb, not to boast, but it’s much better than what you brag about, at least in terms of price, you can’t compare."

"Okay, I’ll send the people over, bring the coffee back for me, thank you for your gift, I’m very happy."

Gao Yang said irritably, "I knew you wouldn’t let go without some benefit, I’ll find an aircraft, you just arrange people to send them on the plane, and get someone to bring your coffee to Sana’a, don’t worry about anything else."

After hanging up the phone, Gao Yang said annoyed, "That bastard, won’t let go without some benefit."

Just then, there was a sudden commotion outside, and Gao Yang looked out to see Tommy and Li Jinfang, who were guarding the courtyard gate, raising their guns, while the gate was already pushed open with a few people trying to barge in but were blocked by Frey.

Gao Yang stood up, pulled his clothes back to facilitate a quick draw, and walked to the door, only to see Salim also running in from the gate, saying a few words to Frey first, then quickly running over in front of Gao Yang.

"Don’t engage in conflict! Don’t engage in conflict, Mr. Lavagani has come, this is just a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding!"

At the gate, a middle-aged man was watching Gao Yang with a scrutinizing gaze, while his men were pushing towards Frey, trying to force their way in, with Frey directly raising his gun.

Gao Yang didn’t intend to engage in conflict with the Iranians, but they just barged in directly.
