Chapter 2932: 2932. More Than Just A Little Flame

The two watched as flames started to blossom around them. The condensed fire mana in this area was causing it, but neither Walker nor Ignus worried. Su also seemed like she was very interested in what was happening. The clarity on her face was all due to the pressure of the dungeon seed no longer resting on her shoulders.

Walker had manipulated it to fall in to the ground and rest where the fire mana was flowing under the ground. This was because some areas of this territory had open lava and magma since it was somewhat near the earth territory and also since some of the races and plants here needed magma to grow.

The benefits of this also came with the fact that some mages and blacksmiths needed this form of environment to do their research and work. Regardless, it was also part of how Genesis had built its territory making this perfect for the dungeon seed to be established and start to grow.

The way that the fire mana was already being drawn here proved that there was more and more that the dungeon seed could do and would need outside of what they might expect.

More mana, higher density of that mana. High purity of that mana.

All three seemed to be keys to allowing the dungeon seed to grow but also information that they could track and research.

"It’s calling the mana to it like a song." Ignus seemed to be sensing a different form of fire mana than what Walker was. Yet, for Ignus he was a fire dominator dragon. A royal dragon who spent years and years balancing himself to be better and even take the leap once he learned of the existence of dominator dragons to become one.

He was sensing the very manipulation of fire mana that was happening and how he would have to struggle to challenge the control of it. But also that he was able to grasp a better understanding of the way that the fire manas were being controlled and drawn in. He was changing his own interpretation of fire mana slightly, but slightly for him was a large enough change that it could lead to even greater changes in him as a whole.

Su seemed a little less intrigued as she was standing tall trying to be a pillar that resisted the flow of fire mana. Walker knew that she was using every small opportunity to train her resistance again. It was soon to be the start of another training challenge for her.

While he enjoyed that she was so dedicated, he did wish that Su would take a little more time to breathe and enjoy Genesis. It was why he would walk some places at times when he could use wind mana to speed there or even teleport now.

That aside, Walker also felt the flow of mana before it suddenly calmed down and became a trickle.

He could see the slight image of fire elemental runes naturally forming around the place that he had left the dungeon seed. He knew that this was not a true naturally formed elemental rune but just because the mana was so dense here. But it was more than proof that this seed was similar to a young elemental spirit.

The difference however, was that it was only drawing that mana in and was not manipulating the fire mana or consuming it in the same way that a naturally formed elemental spirit in dense mana would do to form a larger mana body and become a higher form of elemental spirit.

While he looked at the event slow and the mana begin to be drawn in slower, Walker understood that it had anchored itself and bonded with the space. It was more like the bridges on the elemental planes now. It was technically still, in place, and unmoving. But, it was also able to bring others to another space kept separately within itself.

Comparing it to a spatial storage seemed to still be the best way to think of it. He just needed to keep in mind that it would change and become radically different from a spatial storage if anything were to grow or change form from this point on.

Not that Walker felt he would be able to manipulate the seed any longer. It was like a wall had been put up. Made of dense fire mana and also of the anchored space mana, Walker knew that moving or altering this area in any way would be nearly impossible. It was like trying to move the entirety of the greater fire elemental alone and then wondering why that was so tough to do.

He also noticed that he would need to use a lot of strength to damage it. This proved that there was some thought to be put in to the strength of a dungeon’s core and seed if they were to try to manipulate them or have some sort of research based on altering them in the future. There may be some forms of protection that form with the dungeon that would halt these things from happening.

’The first hand crafted experimental dungeon seed has been planted.’

Walker wasn’t sure what the system message that came through the voice of the world meant. He thought there might be a title or more but this was just what it was. There wasn’t anything else that came with it so he just accepted what had happened.

Yet, as he, Su, and Ignus began to step back with their own thoughts, they realized that if they were to leave, others might not easily find this dungeon seed. The flames and terrain seemed to be hiding it as well. Sort of like a natural camouflage because of the fire flaring up due to the mana being absorbed.

"That might be a hiding or safety reaction. The dungeon seeds are somewhat alive, they grow and work on specific rules but they need mana just like we do. This is it protecting itself now that it had been planted." Walker had his own theories developing while the other two were just trying to keep track of the fire mana flaring up and the idea that it could take a very long time for this dungeon to sprout in to something useful.

"It should take a long time to grow, right?" Su knew that she knew this should be a fact, but she also knew the world was changing. That everything was changing. That there was fire mana already within the dungeon seed because it had not only just been one fire elemental plane but three fused together.

She was watching this and had a nagging feeling that there was much more than just a few factors that they were not taking in to account. Let alone the fact that there might be things they never imagined happening that they were not taking in to account.

"Well, I would say a long time, why?" Walker wasn’t sure why Su was so focused on it, but he somewhat believed it was her excitement to see her theory form properly in to fact. That she might have a dungeon she could see functioning properly and as a training area that they created for Genesis. For the people to be able to travel in to the greater fire elemental plane with more fire resistance and fire mana resistance specifically than ever before.

"Did all the fire mana inside the seed get used when it changed form? Or did it not need as much fire mana because you think this is just a cover to protect itself?" Now this made Walker think. Su was making a good point.

What if this was a cover to protect itself naturally, but also because the seed didn’t need as much fire mana to absorb in to it while it acclimated. What if it had whatever it needed because it had literally been three elemental planes that were perfected and not bleeding too much mana, if any at all before?

What if it was just starting to form what it needed to form and they should back up?

"Move away!" Walker used some of his wind mana to push them all back as flames leaped in to the air in a wide circle. They were pushed away and dragged back showing the entire space becoming more chaotic. It was all the fire mana that had been absorbed released again, but this time it seemed that the land directly within twenty feet of the seed was being changed to match the fire affinity. Was changing just enough to show the proper form of what the seen really was.

It had been small before. It had been dormant. But what they saw now was easily a seed five times larger than Walker’s head.
