Chapter 2919: 2919. Do It Here

It was still a while before Walker and Su saw Remey calm down. They both felt it was strange that she had been trying to meditate and relax the same way that a mage did. However, it was reminiscent of how some of the elder dragons would rest and focus on the mana affinity they had.

"She fell asleep like this?" Su’s surprise brought Walker to look closer at Remey and he nodded.

"I think she is letting her body react and accommodate the pressure by sleeping like dragons do. They are not really asleep but they are shutting their body down externally so that they can focus on the inside. It’s the best way for them to accumulate and incorporate mana in to themselves."

The pair knew that they would not be here waiting for a while because Remey was still somewhat conscious of the time passing, she just wasn’t listening or answering for a while now. That was fine though, she needed to better adapt to what she had undergone by adding so much pressure to her body and soul. To herself entirely.

What Walker was more surprised about was that he could already see the benefits she was gaining.

"She is already showing signs of more development in mana purity and control of future mana. Her body does at least." Walker pointed out the small spirals of flame that popped up. It was her muscles flexing and adjusting to the flow of mana changing and her circulation improving. For Remey, this was much the same as realizing that a muscle which had been healing suddenly felt stronger and she needed to adjust her positioning to be comfortable.

"What should we do about moving then?" Since Su didn’t feel like they could do much here, she looked at Walker to wonder about how they might be able to head back while not causing Remey and stress. "The fire elemental plane is still visible, if we even head to Genesis like this it will look like a ball of fire has been created to destroy everything."

The panic would be all too real. Something that Walker didn’t want to admit he had yet to properly consider. Instead he had been just thinking of the potential they had in creating a new dungeon. How it could solve problems in the ways that Su and Remey had been brainstorming this whole time.

Unfortunately, the average person sensing the weight of flames and the potential danger that came with it would most likely be very unhappy. They would also fly in to panic thinking that Genesis was about to be wiped out by a powerful being determined on destruction.

"I can hide it using light mana. But the mana seeping out I will have to absorb and transfer in to mana gems since I would struggle to contain all the extra mana. Right now, the seal is helping but I left it loose because of the attachments ot Remey and also the fact that I am not an expert."

Admitting his failings was easier than he expected. Walker hadn’t expected that he could easily do this in the least, but he also felt like he succeeded much more than he let himself expect to be honest with himself.

"Experiment with it here?" That was a dangerous question that Su knew she shouldn’t be pushing Walker to do. It was an option though. They had some theory about how to form a dungeon core, so why not, right?"

"I... you might be on to something." Walker’s voice was tentative, he was clearly unsure of the situation but confident in the potential theory Su was getting at. "Remey is attached and siphoning some mana while using her own to keep the attachment tame. I would even say that she has a title of guardian for this elemental plane now since that’s what happened with other beings. Remey just agreed to this rather than be chained to it."

Remembering what they had seen in the past, Su looked at the elemental plane in a way that said it was more like a tame puppy now than a dangerous ball of flames able to expand and create an area of fire larger than the majority of Genesis.

"She is keeping it in line and growing so I could try and reach out to what the elemental plane fundamentally made a core for itself. Instead of runes or other naturally formed formations, you saw the changed material and mana crystals that shattered. Those pieces fused back together in the center allowing for the manas to move about it."

Knowing that the entire elemental planes rotated around one another and didn’t leave their balance, Su understood that the state of this elemental plane based only in fir was similar. It was rotating around a core that it created to give itself natural stability.

While other elemental planes might be different, this one was using mana crystal that was extremely pure, mixed, and perfect for the title of balancing core. Therefore, if Walker interacted with it and managed to shape it, couldn’t he introduce space mana and whatever ele that might be necessary to make it a dungeon core?

"We don’t have the knowledge, do we?" This was the immediate worry. Could Walker manage to create or put in to motion the creation of a dungeon core?

They didn’t know the actual steps and requirements to do such a thing. They just had theories and ideas. The researchers and their notes that they might need were pretty far away right now. If they left to get those then there was a high chance that they would take too much time. They also didn’t want to risk bringing Remey with them and then suddenly having to worry about the safety around them.

They hadn’t properly thought this out to the very end. Then again, they also would prefer to avoid any danger to the people overall.

If the worst happened and this elemental plane collapsed and dissipated in an explosion, Walker was certain that the three of them would live. Maybe some injuries, but realistically, they were tough enough to handle it. That was what came from all their hard work to grow. As long as it was not an attack for a powerful being they could survive something like this.

"Fine, I will try it. We know we think it requires space mana. I have helped make golem cores for the dwarven golems, and I have seen the tamers and skills they use. So maybe mixing all that will help?" Walker was confused about what knowledge in his mind might work the best but Su was nodding along while also shifting her shield and armor again.

"I will be defending you two while you focus. We made some commotion so I expected there to be a few smaller monsters that think they might be coming toward poem leftover prey or scavenging some good materials left behind." Walker showed a smirk of pride in what Su was thinking and doing. He knew she was wise for being ready and mindful of this.

He also knew that she was pushing him to experiment here because she knew for certain that they would be safer here. She had the goal in the first place to achieve this, but overall, she had already thought a little more ahead.

What Walker didn’t catch on to was that Su was trying to leverage a habit of his. One where he would happen in to a situation missing some knowledge and then make miraculous discoveries or push someone to achieve something entirely unique.

In this citation, he might manage to accidentally create a rough dungeon of sorts. Then people could learn from it and advance from it much faster since it had been achieved. Simply put, she was trying to create a baseline for what might be possible using Walker’s miracles.

With a deep sigh, Walker calmed his internal mana flow. He made sure to isolate some fire mana to make racing in to the elemental plane easier. He also checked to see that the space mana around home was safe to play with. He would not risk this if the situation and area was not calm enough.

Surprisingly, the space mana around them actually felt very stable. Like it was no longer dealing with the pressure of an elemental plane sealed existing right here. That was how Walker realized that the pressure was simply put on Remey now. Something he had experienced with a larger elemental plane of fire and new was extremely challenging.

But it enlightened him. Those who cared for elemental planes took on the burden that space would have as a whole. It was a balance in its own way. Carrying such a thing would come with a price and the pressure of their own space being that price made a lot of sense.
