Chapter 2909: 2909. Recruited

Remey had made a clear mess of her alchemy lab. It seemed that she had just been grabbing herbs and producing potion after potion.

There was so much that Walker wondered if there was a single herb left in any storage in Genesis. But then again, this was all because she had an interest in the different potions that she had learned she could make for crafting.

The sheer number of them would be able to help a lot of people even though she was not present if she went with him and Su. However, it was also a show of her strength in alchemy since she had managed to study and improve several potions being used to craft and build the academy being worked on by many right now.

What was even more impressive was that the formulas were all documented. Meaning that other alchemists could take over and follow them to ensure that the potions could be used to enhance, protect, and increase the lifespan of everything being built. It was the very same for the potions related to maintaining tools too.

"So, you two came to bother me, and you didn’t bring any herbs. So, what’s the plan?" Remey was clearly energetic despite the fact that she had been working on potions. Which meant that she was ready to fight a little bit rather than work on some potions.

That didn’t mean that Walker ignored the small vials all set on her waist still. They had to be some form of explosive potion or poison potions that would be able to be used against monsters. Those were the only potions that would be kept where the interchangeable elemental knuckles that Remey held would be.

She kept them both aligned on her waist and pants so that she could easily swap everything or grab anything in an instant. Yes she had other methods, but the gauntlets she used now were even better and could be enhanced with these additional parts whenever she wanted. She even had gloves that were similar but more fine tuned for alchemy now.

The level of different skills that she had to use with the new items she had crafted for her were higher and higher. Walker and Su had just missed this all because they knew she was focused on the alchemy side of things. But she had secretly been enhancing more aspects of her own strength without letting others know.

"I want to get Walker to help me try and make a dungeon." Now it was time for Remey to be shocked. Especially since it was clear that Su was entirely confident in all this rather than it being an idea that Walker came out of nowhere with.

Normally, it would be Walker who happened upon these sorts of ideas or attempted building things. He was even the one who would randomly find someone to help and lead them toward a new path for a new class or unique form of skill. But Su was this time?

And where had she even gotten this idea?

It was very abnormal since she was sure that Su was not going to be the one pushing for this until she saw the clear determination written all over Su’s face. "Ok then... how?"

Remey tried to logic thos out in her mind but had nothing. Then again, Walker was also somewhat unsure if it would actually work too since he knew that the theories and true realities might not be the same as what Su and he had talked about before.

"We can try and have Walker drag the smallest elemental plane back and try to see if there is a way to condense a core in to it and make a dungeon like the ones that pop up and close. If it is possible then we can make perfect training areas for everyone. We won’t need to do all this work to make training areas and then we will have more room for everyone to live!"

"Then we can also look at how some might be better farms like the greenhouses but better. What if someone made an entire forest that was growing perfectly just to be harvested and replenished without any risk of something eating and destroying the trees? It would be perfectly protected!"

The energetic rant made Remey realize that Su had been thinking about this more than both she and Walker could guess. Even Walker was somewhat shocked that Su was even considering the potential of making a replenishing resource that would just require some basic nutrients and a lot of mana. It would be much better than harvesting from the wilderness and making sure that everyone was not destroying everything accidentally.

It would also make managing the projects that needed materials easier. They would not have to be stressed or slowed due to lack of materials. There would be a harvesting schedule to ensure that every project had materials at specific times. Only transport and harvest would be worried about for a while.

"Alright then, what’s the real plan?" Remey looked at Walker for a little structure while taking a sip of the herbal tea she had just mixed and poured. She was more than happy that she could sit for a bit but the slight flexing of her fingers and the roll of her shoulders proved that she was looking for a little more than just that.

"We can head to the elemental planes and go looking for a small elemental plane that isn’t going to have any effect if taken or moved. The smaller the better. Then I can try and use the space mana to make it in to a small multi dimensional storage or something. The magic to manipulate this will need to be figured out on the spot."

This was the real challenge that Walker would need to take on since he was sure there would be more to all this than what he was expecting. Besides, he also understood this as a chance to strengthen his standing as an origin being.

"And after that you just bring it with us like materials harvested from the wilderness?"

"Sort of, I think I need to study a little more about the core of what a dungeon is and see if I can make one. We might need some theories about golem cores and the building of slime bodies around their cores?" Walker was making his own guesses, but the more that he spoke about it the more it started to make sense to start there.

"So we are testing this all out. Sounds interesting. We should head out now then. No one else is going to come looking for me for at least an hour so it’s perfect timing." Remey was using this to get out of a few other more boring things too. Walker and Su could have said something about that but they both knew it would just put her in a bad mood. It was better safe than sorry.

With this though, they had Remey with them so their little trio was ready to head out. Especially since they didn’t need much other than themselves. The skills they had and the gear they carried already was more than enough. Besides, with EWalker’s teleportation skill, he was able to allow them a few steps to get right to a bridge to the elemental plane. Let alone move in to and through one easily.

Su and Remey shared a few unspoken words with glances about Walker’s increased usage of space mana. They could tell he had learned a lot more about it and how to keep it from rejecting his influence. It was like he had better allow it to become part of him rather than him just trying to figure it out.

Whether this was a sign of his mentality changing or not didn’t matter, they were happy he was growing more and more through his own hard work and self reflection. They knew very well that he had struggled for substance lately since Genesis and the world did not need him to be a stagnant hero. He too needed to advance on his own path to see what he was as a person and hero of more than the world.

"I think that was a lot of moving without much moving. I don’t like teleportation as much now." Remey flexed her arms trying to shake the odd feeling from her body. She also had to handle the sudden addition of wind mana hitting her body since Walker had just brought them in to the wind elemental plane.

"If I train more for another month I think I can teleport right in to the elemental planes I want. I just need to work on protection as I use space mana to move through that chaotic mana." His mumbling was less of a comment and more of an internal debate. The other two just looked at him astonished.
