Chapter 294: Chapter 201: Vicious Dog General (Part 2)
Si Huan Nian wore a strange expression as she watched the little, dog-riding fatty run wild on the floor. She finally strode into the room.
But what she saw was Rong Taotao lying on the bed, faint fluctuations of Soul Power rippling around his body.
"WOOF~"
"BZZZ!"
The good mood Si Huan Nian had just gotten from tormenting the Shi Family Sisters instantly shattered. She strode forward and kicked the foot of Rong Taotao’s bed.
"Huh?" Rong Taotao opened his eyes, turned to look at Coach Si, and said, "Is it time for dinner?"
Si Huan Nian pointed at the vicious dog-general duo running wild on the floor. "With all this racket," she chided, "how am I supposed to rest?"
"Oh, I’ll just recall them before I go to sleep tonight," Rong Taotao said.
"Recall them now. The noise is getting on my nerves." Si Huan Nian put her hands on her hips. She watched as the Cloud Dog circled her feet and had to resist the urge to punt it into the air.
"Such a heartless bully," Rong Taotao sat up cross-legged and snapped his fingers. "Cloud Dog, come here."
"Yip?" The Cloud Dog stopped in its tracks. When it turned its head and saw its master calling, its body dissolved into mist and quickly floated over.
The little fatty landed on the ground and hesitated for a moment. Its body also shattered into frost and snow, but its Snow Armor and Ice Candle Gaze remained. They floated toward Rong Taotao, seemingly carried by a layer of frosty mist.
Rong Taotao grabbed two Little Rascal candies from his headboard, unwrapped them, and popped them into the mouths of his general and vicious dog. "Come on, let’s go eat."
As he spoke, Rong Taotao unwrapped another Little Rascal, stood up, and casually popped the Cubed Sugar into Si Huan Nian’s mouth.
That casual attitude, those practiced movements... they were identical to how he had just fed the Cloud Dog and Snow General Candle.

"Are you going to eat? Or should I bring something back for you?" Having put on his shoes, Rong Taotao looked up at Si Huan Nian.
"Just go already. Get out of my sight. Oh, and bring back extra food." Si Huan Nian snapped out of her stupor and turned toward her own bed.
"Let’s go~" With a touch to each, Rong Taotao merged the Cloud Dog and Snow General Candle into his body and stepped out of the room. At the same time, Gao Lingwei emerged from the women’s dorm room across the hall.
In fact, while Rong Taotao’s physical body had been lying on the bed absorbing Soul Power and cultivating his Soul Techniques, his mind had been in the Snow Prison Arena the whole time, practicing calligraphy and Halberd Techniques with Gao Lingwei.
As the two walked, Rong Taotao said in a low voice, "Even though the Snow General Candle has a sort of half-human, half-spectral form, it’s still considered a Humanoid Soul Beast. It can learn anything Xu Taiping could."

"Yeah," Rong Taotao explained. "He was a student in our original Soul Class, an Ice Soul Guide. You and Zhao Tang joined after he left."
"Yes, I’ve heard the name," Gao Lingwei said with a nod. "Is your Snow General Candle’s Heart of the Snow Realm at the one-star level yet?"
At this, Rong Taotao said with some uncertainty, "It has to be, right? At the very least? Otherwise, it wouldn’t be able to use those two Soul Skills. It even burned your fingertip when I absorbed it as a Soul Pet, remember?"
"Right." Gao Lingwei nodded. "The biggest obstacle now is teaching the Snow General Candle to understand our language. Humanoid Intelligent Soul Beasts like the Ice Soul Guide and Frost Beauty can cultivate any Soul Skill that humans can learn on their own.
The difficulty isn’t in using the Soul Skills, but in communicating with it and teaching it how to learn them."

In his Inner Soul Map, the level of the Snow General Candle’s Heart of the Snow Realm wasn’t explicitly listed under its entry.

A one-star Snow Realm Soul Technique is compatible with four Soul Skills. The Snow General Candle might have a hard time learning a nuanced Soul Skill like White Lantern Paper Cage, but it should be able to master Snow Step, Snow Burst, and Snow Soul.

Hearing this, Gao Lingwei raised an eyebrow, looking Rong Taotao up and down. "How very domineering of you."
Rong Taotao grimaced. "You should spend less time with Xia Fangran. A goddess should act like a goddess, not pick up his Yin-Yang Strange Qi."
