Chapter 124: Chapter 124: Secrets and Suspicions
Tony Stark’s Lab
"Ok, Jarvis, scan their DNA." Tony put the two hairs on the lab table for Jarvis to scan.
Jarvis scanned both DNA samples from the hair and analyzed them for a few minutes.
"Sir, both DNA samples are 100% human, but further analysis is impossible. The genetic material is intact, sir, but portions of the sequence appear intentionally obscured."
"You mean some kind of technology that shields DNA and protects it from misuse, like cloning and similar things?" Tony was amazed, as he didn’t think that type of technology existed.
After seeing the results, Tony became even more certain that the girls were unusual. He was sure Earth currently didn’t possess this kind of technology, which made him suspect even more that the two girls might be the same girls his father had met.
After seeing the reports, Tony thought for a few minutes and instructed Jarvis to mainly keep an eye on the two girls, and additionally on Jack and Gwen, since they were close to them and also seemed unusual.
"The world is getting weirder day by day. I should finish my suit sooner." With that thought, Tony returned to building his suit.
Jack, on the other hand, thought there would be some after-effects after Tony’s visit, but everything remained peaceful as the days passed.
With the two girls at home, Jack’s life had become livelier and their relationship grew closer. Even Gwen started dropping by every day. Soon, they began to feel like a family of four.
As life went on, more than two weeks passed.
Nothing major happened during this time, only a few small fights with thugs — things that no longer made Jack pay much attention to them.
Now, after two weeks of daily fights against small thugs and rescuing people, he was getting close to unlocking his next alien.
Since this was going to be his 10th alien unlock, Jack wondered if the Omnitrix would unlock some new permissions, just like it had when he unlocked his 5th alien.
However, the system didn’t seem to count aliens like the Skrulls that he had added through Otherwise, he could have simply added every alien race in Marvel and easily unlocked all of the Omnitrix’s permissions.
Clearly, the system did not allow this loophole.
As for the 10th alien reward, the system didn’t say anything. Like most of the time, it remained completely silent.

Jack’s Secret Hideout — Night Time
Looking at the status panel, Jack felt a sense of achievement.
"Uncle Jack, it seems my dad really found something, or else why would Jarvis try to spy on us? If we hadn’t upgraded Red Queen and Friday’s hardware, Jarvis might have found something," Morgan, who was working on the laptop, said to Jack.
"Yes, I really couldn’t find where we left a loophole either." Jack couldn’t think of anything that would make Tony suspicious enough to have Jarvis monitor them.
"Anyway, Dad can’t find anything. With Red Queen and Friday upgraded, Jarvis won’t discover anything," Morgan replied.
"Yes, that old Jarvis can’t find anything. He believed the footage I sent him and left." Red Queen appeared and said happily.
From her tone, it was easy to tell that she was pleased about tricking Jarvis.
"Any news update, Red Queen?"
"Nothing major happened recently, but regarding the lizard man Master told us to find, we really couldn’t find anything related to him. Even Friday and I checked all of New York over the past few days, but there was no news. The only good news is that we found some illegal activities that were being carried out very secretly. I already sent you the information, Master."
"Did that lizard guy die or something?" Gwen asked while entering the hideout in her spider costume.
"Don’t know, but if he’s alive, he’ll definitely show up." Jack didn’t know what had happened to Dr. Connors. He should have made some moves by now, yet he had remained completely silent. Something must have happened.
"So how’s your new spider costume we built?" Jack asked Gwen for feedback about her costume.
He, Morgan, and Emma had built it as a gift for Gwen. The Spider-Man suit was one of his best works. It had been built by Jack and Emma while using Grey Matter, along with Morgan’s future knowledge. Using some of the items Emma had stored inside her space bag, they even managed to create a nanotechnology suit years ahead of its time.
"This is a really awesome suit. I didn’t expect you guys to add Red Queen to the suit or even give it a flight mode, but I actually prefer swinging over flying," Gwen said.
"That was my idea!" Morgan immediately raised her hand. "The flight system, the combat analysis, the web shooter upgrades, and Red Queen support were all my ideas."
"And I designed the bracelet function," Emma proudly said. "It’s the same as my storage bag. The suit can change shape and return to the bracelet."
Even Jack had to admit that some of the items inside Emma’s space bag were incredibly advanced. The medical device that had saved Jean DeWolff was only one example. The bag itself seemed almost endless, containing all kinds of future equipment.
Because of those materials, they had even managed to upgrade Red Queen and Friday’s hardware.
"Honestly, your bag is basically Doraemon’s pocket," Jack said.
Emma blinked. "Who’s Doraemon?"
Morgan also looked confused.
"Honestly, your bag is basically Doraemon’s pocket," Jack said.

Jack suddenly realized that Doraemon didn’t exist in this world.
"Uh... an old cartoon," he replied with a cough.
"Oh, childish," Emma said, immediately losing interest.
Morgan simply nodded and didn’t care either.
Even Gwen couldn’t help laughing.
Seeing everyone talking and joking together, Jack felt that the hideout had become much livelier than before.
