Chapter 134: Chapter 96: Clash of Fists

This man was nearly two meters tall, with no eyebrows and a ferocious expression.

His Qi Blood was faintly approaching the Mid Stage of the Iron Skin Realm.

"It’s Niu Yan!"

Someone from the White Cloud Martial Arts Hall suddenly exclaimed.

"Niu Yan, one of the Four Young Masters of Martial Arts?"

"That’s right. I heard that to temper himself, he not only hunts Black Beasts alone but has also helped capture fugitives wanted by the Court. He’s a real hard case!"

Gong Yulei frowned as he listened to the crowd’s discussion.

’The Four Young Masters of Martial Arts, huh... Perfect. I’ll use you to build my reputation!’

After the two exchanged fist salutes, Gong Yulei unleashed his full Qi Blood and threw a punch!

But Niu Yan didn’t dodge or evade, simply meeting the attack with a punch of his own!

BANG!

Their fists collided with a violent crack.

A powerful gust of wind and dust billowed out from the center of the arena, forcing everyone to squint.

But when they opened their eyes again, the crowd was dumbstruck!

Only Niu Yan remained in the arena.

Gong Yulei had vanished!

As everyone was looking for Gong Yulei, Luo Kun had already shattered his Grandmaster’s Chair. In a flash, he appeared by the courtyard wall.

A figure was sprawled on the ground, his arm twisted at an unnatural angle and his face pale.

He struggled to lift his head, his face filled with disbelief as he stared at Niu Yan in the center of the arena.

It was none other than Gong Yulei!

The other White Cloud Martial Arts Hall disciples gathered around, their eyes still reflecting shock and confusion.

Gong Yulei was so powerful, so how could he not even withstand a single blow?

Just how strong was this Niu Yan?!

Looking at Gong Yulei’s wretched state, they felt a pang of shared sorrow. Though they didn’t particularly like him due to his usual arrogance, seeing one of their own so miserable was unsettling.

"Master, is Senior Brother Gong going to be okay?" Lin Xue’er asked anxiously.

After all, Gong Yulei was an important investment for her; if something happened to him, her money would be completely wasted!

Luo Kun carefully examined his injuries. Seeing that aside from a fractured arm, there were no other major issues, he breathed a sigh of relief.

He shook his head, helped Gong Yulei up, and then, gripping his arm, set the bone back into place.

Then, he took an Elixir Pill from his robes and had Gong Yulei swallow it.

Once that was done, Luo Kun strode to the center of the arena.

He frowned. "So you’re Niu Yan? It was just an exchange of fists. There was no need to be so ruthless!"

His voice was laced with unconcealed anger.

Niu Yan offered a fist salute and said nonchalantly, "Greetings, Hall Master Luo. I just threw a normal punch. I didn’t expect him to be so fragile he couldn’t even take one blow. It’s not my fault."

"You!"

Luo Kun’s eyes blazed with fury as he glared at Niu Yan. His Qi Force began to circulate on its own, and he was on the verge of teaching this insolent brat a lesson.

Just then, Li Hong walked over, subtly positioning himself between Luo Kun and Niu Yan.

"It’s just the kids sparring. Sometimes a hand slips and lands a bit heavy. It’s no big deal, no big deal at all!"

Luo Kun’s eyes narrowed. Finally, with a cold snort, he retreated to the edge of the arena.

He was furious, but he knew this was a matter for the younger generation. He couldn’t get involved, or he’d be accused of an elder bullying a junior, and his reputation would be ruined.

Suddenly, Niu Yan turned to the disciples of the White Cloud Martial Arts Hall and asked,

"Where’s that guy from your Martial Arts Hall, Gong Yulei? I don’t see him. I wasn’t fully prepared last time, but I won’t lose again!"

Everyone froze, taken aback by his words.

’What is this guy talking about?’

Just then, one of Niu Yan’s peers said to him, "Isn’t the guy you just fought Gong Yulei?"

This time, it was Niu Yan’s turn to be stunned.

He pointed at Gong Yulei and roared,

"What did you say? You’re telling me this piece of trash is Gong Yulei?! What kind of joke is this!"

Gong Yulei was both furious and bewildered. He was furious that this man had not only defeated him but now insulted him, yet he was bewildered because he had no idea what the man was talking about!

"What do you mean, ’trash’? Spit it out! You think you’re so great just because you’re a little stronger?" Lin Xue’er stepped forward and yelled.

"If you can’t even take one punch, you are trash! And yes, being strong is great!" someone from the Fierce Wind Martial Arts Hall side shot back.

"Hmph! If Senior Brother Shao Jianbo were here, he’d knock your teeth out!" a short-haired female disciple stepped forward to declare.

"Shao Jianbo? That so-called genius who never shows his face at these duels? Sounds like he’s all talk. He’s probably hiding so he doesn’t get exposed as a fraud in a real fight!" someone sneered.

"Yeah, is your Martial Arts Hall full of nothing but braggarts!"

"Say that again?!"

"I’ll say it again, so what? Weren’t you the ones whose guy just got sent flying like a dog?"

The insults flew back and forth, both sides growing more agitated until the courtyard sounded like a chaotic marketplace.

"Enough!"

Luo Kun roared.

The roar was imbued with Qi Force, making everyone’s eardrums throb with pain. The crowd instantly fell silent.

"A loss is a loss! Can’t we even lose with dignity?! What is this disgraceful commotion!"

Luo Kun rose and admonished the members of the White Cloud Martial Arts Hall.

Hearing this, the disciples of the White Cloud Martial Arts Hall lowered their heads in shame.

"The next time you meet someone with no manners, someone raised by wolves, you don’t trade insults or try to make them apologize. You answer with your fists!"

Niu Yan frowned at the remark, but he didn’t dare talk back. After all, the man was a Force Integration Artist.

"Heh, since the match is over, we’ll be taking our leave." Li Hong walked over with his hands clasped behind his back, a dry chuckle in his voice.

"I won’t see you out," Luo Kun said coldly, not bothering to turn his head.

Just as the group was about to leave, a voice suddenly rang out from the entrance.

"Who said it was over?"

At these words, all heads turned toward the sound.

Jiang Che was striding into the courtyard!
