Chapter 214: Chapter 214 Reginald Steps In
Fiona’s POV
My stomach churned the moment Allen’s figure came into view, moving toward me. I gritted my teeth and curled my hands into fists. Just seeing him made me feel sick to my core.
"What are you doing by yourself?" Allen positioned himself directly in front of me while I remained seated, forcing me to tilt my head back to meet his gaze.
I hated being looked down on like this, so I started to get up and walk away, but Allen’s hand landed on my shoulder, pushing me back down.
"No, stay right there." Allen’s lips curved into a nasty smile. "I prefer the view from this angle."
It didn’t take much imagination to figure out what twisted thoughts were running through Allen’s mind. "Take your hands off me," I said firmly. I kept my tone quiet, but the fury behind my words was unmistakable.
I didn’t want to draw attention from others, though barely anyone else was around.
The briny ocean air filled my nostrils, making everything worse.
"Mmm. I’ve gotten off on you plenty of times before, haven’t I?"
"Touch me and I’ll toss you straight into that ocean!" I warned him, but Allen just laughed at my rage.
"You can’t be serious, can you? You need me. Do you really think those border guards will let you through without me backing you up? They’ll slaughter you the second they find out you’re from Mya Kingdom. You need me, Fiona. Your whole group does.
You won’t make it without me."
Allen spoke the truth, and I despised him for it.
"Keep away from me. I won’t feed into your sick fantasies." I knocked his hand off my shoulder again and tried to rise, but Allen shoved me back down. He glowered at me for being so defiant.
"You look adorable when you fight back, but I don’t think you want to bring others over here."
Allen ran his tongue across his lips. "Just be a good girl and take it." He pulled down his zipper and freed his hardened length. "It’s been way too long, I’ve been craving you."
I wanted to retch. I struggled when Allen seized my hair and tried to force my face toward his member.
"I’ll scream if you try that!"
"Go ahead, scream and let everyone know you’re carrying my pup. What do you think? Won’t that be wonderful news?" Allen cackled because he knew I wouldn’t dare.
I loathed him with every fiber of my being, and the idea of others discovering I was pregnant with his child would destroy me.
"Perfect. Now, be a good girl and take it."
Allen was about to thrust his member toward my mouth, but suddenly someone tapped his shoulder, startling him. He spun around quickly to find Reginald standing there.
"That can wait. I need you to go over some things with alpha Sterling." Reginald didn’t even glance my way, but his jaw clenched tight, and his grip on Allen’s shoulder tightened as well.
"Can’t it wait? Can’t you see I’m enjoying myself here? Let me unwind a little," Allen complained. He tried to shake off Reginald’s grip, but it was too strong, almost painful.
"Now. This is urgent. We’re almost at Valerium territory." Reginald held his ground, and Allen could sense it. This man wasn’t going anywhere.
"Alright, alright!" Allen grumbled in frustration, then released me. I immediately shot to my feet.
My face had turned crimson from both anger and shame. I hated being seen in this position, especially by Reginald.
"Return to your room and stop wandering around," Reginald told me, his voice harsh, as if he was barely containing his own anger, or maybe that was just my imagination.
"Okay." I left immediately. I didn’t look back and hurried to my bedroom on the lower deck. I felt completely humiliated.
The desire to kill Allen burned fiercely inside me.

Phoebe’s POV
I’d never been to this place before, but I could tell it was very close to the forest behind the palace.
This was on the opposite side of that forest.
What’s more, I could still make out the palace tower from my current location.
The house wasn’t particularly large, containing several bedrooms. My room was on the second floor, with Justin taking the other one up there, while the remaining warriors occupied the bedrooms downstairs.
Besides Justin and Wade, there was a stocky shifter who looked like he worked construction. His name was Orion.
Only these warriors would be staying with me until the king came back, which meant I might be here for months.
The only other people who knew where I was were Timothy and elder Tricia.
Perry had taken this precaution because the last time he’d left, the other elders had enjoyed flexing their authority and compelling me to fulfill my duties as queen.
Even though it fell under my responsibilities as queen, and the elders weren’t technically wrong, they’d demanded I perform my duties out of spite.
What had happened at the main gates to Central City was proof of that. Perry simply didn’t want the same thing to happen again.
Not to mention how many times intruders had managed to breach the palace walls. It was troubling to think how badly our security had deteriorated and how people could enter and leave as they wished.
"Would you like something to eat, my queen?" Justin asked. He and the other warriors had been very concerned about me, because they could sense something was wrong.
I shook my head. I didn’t feel hungry, but then I remembered that I wasn’t just eating for myself anymore, but also for my baby. I needed to keep myself in good shape.
I then nodded, which left Justin looking puzzled.
"Do you want to eat?" Justin asked again to make sure.
I nodded wearily.
