Chapter 189: Chapter 189 His Twisted Obsession
Phoebe’s POV
I took the book from Timothy and scribbled down my thoughts.
[I won’t do that to him.] "We can’t predict what’s coming, but knowing Perry like I do, you’ll probably need to give him hell sometimes."
Timothy shrugged like it was no big deal, then dropped down beside me on the makeshift bed.
[What about Samuel and Justin?] I nudged Timothy and showed him my note. I’d already asked Perry, but I needed to hear it again.
"Relax, they’re okay. Perry just dealt with them differently." Timothy’s laugh made my stomach twist.
I wasn’t laughing. My brows pulled together, and I mouthed silently, ’What?’
"Perry stuck them with grunt work. No more patrol duty, no more being your bodyguards. He’s getting you new warriors." Timothy winked like this was good news.
But I don’t want that. My frown deepened. Samuel and Justin were just starting to feel familiar. I didn’t want some uptight strangers who’d only take orders from Perry.
Reading my expression, Timothy’s grin stretched wide, like he was cooking up trouble. "If you don’t want it, don’t accept it. Talk to him. You can make him change his mind."
I stared down at my hands. I wasn’t sure I could pull that off. I’d already pissed him off before, and if I pushed too hard, he might end up hating me. That scared me more than anything.
"Hey, what’s going through that head of yours?" Timothy tapped my nose. "You changed his mind once. You can do it again. He’ll listen when it’s about making you comfortable."
I dropped my head lower, fidgeting with my fingers.
Sure, Perry listened to me, but what if I became a pain in his ass? Just because I could influence him didn’t mean I should ask for everything I wanted, right?
"Come on, have some confidence. Before you convince anyone else, you gotta convince yourself you can do it." Timothy ruffled my hair. "Trust me, Perry will give in."
I wrote another note. What if I make him angry?
"Phoebe, don’t worry about pissing him off. Plenty of people already do that. One more won’t make a difference."
Timothy burst out laughing when he saw my face after that comment. I was definitely not impressed with his logic.
"Don’t stress about it," Timothy said, still chuckling. "If there’s one person who won’t piss him off, it’s you. And if there’s one person who’ll drive him absolutely crazy, it’s me. Let’s stick to our own jobs, yeah?"
That finally made me smile. I wrapped my arms around Timothy tight. He felt like the brother I never had.
"Whoa, don’t let Perry catch this, or I’ll be six feet under."
——
Allen’s rough grunt filled the air as he finished inside Fiona. "Fuck! You’re so damn tight!"
Fiona squeezed her eyes shut, blocking out his face hovering above her. She bit her lip hard, fighting back tears.
She felt nothing. Absolutely nothing. She despised these moments, especially with her mate lying unconscious right beside them.
But this sick situation only turned Allen on more. He got off on violating her next to Reginald.
It had become his twisted obsession, and Fiona was trapped. She wanted to shove him off her, but she couldn’t. He’d threaten Reginald’s life, her little brother, and the warriors still loyal to her.
"Fuck, Fiona!" Allen growled in her ear, squeezing her breast brutally until she almost screamed. She swallowed the sound.
Allen’s body shook as he climaxed, pumping himself into her with satisfied groans.
When he finished, he forced his mouth on hers, making her whimper. "What’s wrong? Didn’t come? Not enjoying yourself?"
"I did..." Fiona whispered against his lips. This was the fourth time today Allen had used her body for his pleasure.
"You’re a fucking liar." Allen’s laugh was cruel. "What? Think you’re too good for me? Don’t want to enjoy this with me?"
"I did. I enjoyed it." Fiona needed the Wolfbane. She couldn’t survive another day without it.
Allen studied her face, then smirked. "Good." He licked her cheek, clearly pleased with her answer.
Fiona flinched as he pulled out of her.
"Look at that mess." Allen shifted to stare between her legs. "You’re dripping."
Fiona snapped her thighs together and curled up, trying to cover herself. Allen just laughed harder.
"I’ve seen everything. What’s the point of hiding now?" He smacked her bare ass, making her yelp, then stood up. "I loved our time together. Next time, let’s do it with Reginald awake."
"No," Fiona sobbed. "Please don’t."
"Don’t be naive, Fiona." Allen buckled his pants, looking down at her with fake pity. "You think he actually cares? He only pretends to care because you’re useful. Once you lose your value, he’ll toss you aside."
Allen walked out, leaving her broken on the bed.
The moment he was gone, Fiona crawled to the corner and threw up. Her body heaved violently. She’d been sick for days now, constantly exhausted and nauseous.
She didn’t understand why, but she couldn’t stop vomiting.
