Chapter 200: Chapter 200 Back at the Academy
’I wonder if dragons know what human dicks are supposed to look like, I’m sure she would know... But on a different note, so dragons have a similar entrance hole’
Xavier arrived at his room to see his clothes neatly arranged on the bed, along with clothes for Star. Xavier examined the clothes, and they were perfect.
There was a dark brown tunic made from soft fabric, sturdy black trousers, and a leather belt with a simple silver buckle. A dark cloak rested beside the clothes, its hood folded neatly. A pair of knee-high leather boots sat on the floor at the foot of the bed.
Xavier had better clothes, but all of them were too expensive and not suitable for his current situation. His mother made most of his clothing, so he had too much, some of which he had never worn in his life.
Beside his set was another pile meant for Star. It had a white long-sleeved shirt, a dark blue vest embroidered with silver thread, and comfortable black pants. There was also a cloak designed for size and a pair of soft leather boots.
Xavier wasted no time putting on his outfit, and before Star came into the room, he was already done.
She pushed the door open and stepped inside the room. She placed the towel, which was wrapped around her chest on the bed, before picking the pile apart giving Xavier extended time to stare at her body.
After some seconds both of them were fully dressed and ready to leave. Xavier placed his sword at his waist as he had a strap to hold the sword, and exited his room.
"Wait for me at the door, also tell any maid you see to ready the carriage, she’ll know what to do. I’m going to see my mother before we leave," Xavier spoke as he walked in the other direction leaving for his mother’s room.
Xavier arrived at the door and pushed it open. She stood by the window looking outside towards the broken part of the wall. Since the wall was so massive the broken part could be seen from anywhere in the kingdom.
She heard the door and turned around to see Xavier dressed and she knew where he was heading.
"I’m heading to the academy, I might not be back home for a while," Xavier spoke.
"Alrighty, make sure to eat well," she replied. She couldn’t say what was really on her mind, and Xavier knew this, but he had a single goal in his mind, and staying at home and waiting for the kingdom to be destroyed wasn’t something he could do.
Xavier stepped out of her room, and walked towards the door. Star was standing at the door, and two carriages were parked at the far end of the compound, while another one was close to the gate.
The carriage was ready with a rider already on it and two beautiful horses in front. Before long, they were on their way to the academy.
"Do you have something to say?" Xavier asked as Star was glancing at him.
"What do you think of our chances of winning, how strong do you think the demon queen is?" Star asked.
"I have no idea, but I’m pretty sure she’s unbelievably strong, and in my current state there’s not going to be a battle, but I still have time to train," Xavier replied with a smile on his face.
Star looked at him, she couldn’t tell if he was actually serious or just joking, because she knew Xavier had no time to train, at most a week since she overheard his conversation with the generals.
Star turned to her side looking at the state of the city. The streets were mostly empty with only a handful of people moving around while Xavier had his eyes closed till they arrived at the gates of the academy.
"We’re here" The rider spoke as she stopped the carriage.
"Thank you" Xavier replied as he stepped down with Star and the carriage turned around heading back home.
Xavier took a deep breath before moving forward. The gates were half-opened and both of them stepped through. Two females sat across the gate and stood up once they saw Xavier, they already knew he was coming.
One of the females walked towards them, "I’ve been instructed to bring you" She spoke and Xavier nodded.
’I would have loved to see some of the girls before this, I hope Mia and Freya are alright, I miss them the most, I’m pretty sure Princess Mirabel would be okay. The Queen won’t allow her daughter to go to war’
Xavier was led to a large building inside the academy. He had seen the building before but the doors were always closed so he had no idea what was inside.
"Through here" The female leading them spoke before walking back.
Xavier wasted no time as he pushed the door open and stepped inside. He reeled back in surprise at the sight in front of him.
’Spatial Magic’ Xavier muttered as he took a step in.
The space inside was far larger than the building outside could possibly contain.
The ground beneath his feet was covered with smooth stone, and at the end of the enormous space stood another building. It looked like a living space built with stone walls and several large windows, and in front of it was a training ground.
The sound of swords colliding echoed through the area as Xavier saw two females locked in a duel. Their wooden practice swords clashed repeatedly as they exchanged attacks.
The remaining eight girls were scattered around the training ground watching the duel with interest while others just lay down.
One of the fighters finally noticed Xavier and stopped midway causing the other fighter to turn in the direction she was looking.
The duel slowly came to a stop as the two fighters lowered their swords. For a brief moment, the entire area fell silent.
Xavier scanned the faces of the girls there, and to his surprise, Mia and Freya were among them, along with Cynthia, those were the girls he knew.
Seeing that both of them were safe, he let out a small sigh of relief without realizing it.
