"Fuck" Xavier muttered as he felt a sharp pain in his stomach, he knew for sure he had broken a rib; with his [Regeneration], he could easily heal himself, but his Mana was almost depleted.

"Xavier, are you alright?" Sylve asked as she walked towards him.

"I’m having trouble breathing, and I can’t stand up, so I’ll leave you to judge," Xavier replied.

Sylve placed a hand on Xavier’s body, and slowly, the pain he felt began to subside till there was little to no pain at all, and Sylve pulled her hands.

"Thanks" Xavier spoke as he sat up.

Even though they couldn’t get tired, hungry, or thirsty, Xavier was still tired and craving something to eat.

"So if you didn’t find out that was a Queen, we would have spent hours fighting and not getting anywhere" The Dwarf spoke as he lay on the ground.

"I thought about it, it seemed strange the way the ants were too much so I thought I’d check it out"

"How are you able to fly?" Sylve asked.

"Oh, I don’t fly, I just stride... it’s not as cool as it sounds" Xavier replied.

"At last, we’re done with this floor, 6 more to go," The Harpy spoke.

"Do you know where the king Ant crystal is?" Xavier asked Sylve.

"Their crystals are usually in their head; it’s a little smaller than normal, and I have no idea if it would be the same for the Queen," Sylve said.

Xavier couldn’t possibly go around cutting each ant head open and digging out the crystals; there were just too many, and there weren’t king-tier beasts, but the Queen was a level above king-tier, so he had to get her crystal.

’Maybe I should just wait for my Mana to recover a little and send a clone to do the dirty work, I wouldn’t want my entire body to be covered in their blood.

His clothes, sword, and part of his body were already stained by the blood, but the Queen was too big. Xavier would have to dig inside her head to find her crystal.

The screen appeared in front of Xavier and some information was displayed.

’The most practical use of this is the high magic resistance, wait...it grants immunity against mind control and curse, isn’t that the problem with my curse sword’

"Hey, god of death, are you there?" Xavier asked.

"Of course, I see you’re done with this floor, what’s wrong?" He asked with a smile as he appeared in front of Xavier.

"I want my curse sword back" Xavier spoke.

"Xavier, what are you doing? Why would you want something like that back?" Sylve asked to which Xavier didn’t respond.

"You want your curse sword back, here you go," The god spoke with a smile as the sword appeared in his hands. It was back to the plain old sword, and he handed it to Xavier.

"Since you already passed both floors, I could just take you to the sixth floor and skip all these; the rest are already waiting," He spoke. Stay connected with Freewebnovel

"Wait, we’ll skip floor 5 and go straight to floor 6?" The dwarf asked.

"Yes, but you could face floor 5 if you want, and if you want to go, I suggest you do so now; if I leave, then the offer is gone," He spoke.

"Then leave, we need to stay and recover the Mana we used to fight; if we can’t defeat the beast in floor 5, then you wouldn’t be offering to push us up," Xavier spoke.

"That’s right, all of you should know I haven’t really begun anything, you must think you have a chance of winning right, I mean, no one is dead yet, but I’m not the god of death for nothing" He said with a smile as he touched Xavier and immediately Xavier felt Mana pouring into him.

Then he went around and touched Sylve and the Harpy pouring them with Mana till their Mana core were also full.

"Now that your Mana is filled up, we should leave; the real challenge is going to start now," He spoke, and all of them were transported immediately to another floor.

Xavier looked around as they arrived, but not everyone that left them was there; Dragonborn, Tiger, and both of the demons were the ones currently there.

"Alright, so only the eight of you survived. There’s nothing on floor 6, but only floors 7 and 8 are going to end all of you; you are going to split into two groups of four and proceed," The god spoke.

"Group of four?" Xavier asked.

"Yes, it’s supposed to be a group of five but two are already dead, and the rest of you are going to be killed in the next two floors so choose your four members, right now"

"The four of us that went alone are going to be one team" Dragonborn spoke as he stood up.

"Good, well then off you go, just four more floors and you’re done," the god spoke as they were teleported again, but this time Xavier, Sylve, the Harpy, and the dwarf were the only ones in the room up until they turned around to see a dragon sleeping.

"Oh my..." Xavier immediately took a step back as he swallowed his spit; he could sense its Mana and the only thing it was telling his body was telling him was to run away.

"Wait... that’s not a dragon," Sylve spoke as the beast opened its eyes and saw the four of them.

"What are you talking about? That’s obviously a dragon; we’re going to die," Harpy spoke, and finally, the beast stood on all fours, causing the four of them to become even more dumbfounded.

It was a seven-headed Hydra.
