Chapter 2360: Chapter 2359: This Must Be Fate

When Alvin’s lips left hers, Nangong Lin felt just like this.

It felt like they had become much closer, and the previous tension and awkwardness seemed to have faded a lot.

She just looked at Alvin like that, not even noticing herself, her always proud gaze gradually softened, with a bit of girlish charm, no longer the bold and carefree cool sister.

"Xiaolin..." Alvin gently rubbed her face, a tender smile lingering on his lips.

Nangong Lin blushed slightly, and softly responded, "Hmm?"

"Let’s head home first." Alvin retracted his body and returned to the driver’s seat.

"Okay." Nangong Lin nodded.

Alvin started the car, his beautiful amber eyes barely concealing the excitement and emotion, even a little thrill.

He drove with one hand while tightly holding Nangong Lin’s hand with the other, his thumb gently caressing the back of her hand.

Actually, he was truly a bit surprised and delighted, he never thought love would suddenly come to him, nor did he expect to fall for Nangong Lin.

Because the one he fell for at first sight was Nangong Ran.

But Nangong Ran now already has her own happiness, and he doesn’t want to interfere.

They say finding the person most suitable for oneself is the true essence of love, and also say love requires mutual affection.

Now when he thinks about it, he and Nangong Lin have had quite a lot of interaction, starting from when he first moved next door to her, her paranoia made him feel both amused and annoyed.

While he and Nangong Ran didn’t interact much, all his emotions stayed at that single glance, and he created a romantic fantasy for himself.

For Nangong Ran, he didn’t even have the chance to make a move before it was already too late.

This may just be fate.

Actually, he didn’t know how to explain it to Nangong Lin, afraid that the more he explained, the more confusing it would become, especially since Nangong Ran and Nangong Lin are sisters.

It seemed a bit unfair to Nangong Lin because her feelings were complete, while his seemed to have blemishes and imperfections.

So he should love her more, protect her more, and strive to mend those imperfections.

The car drove smoothly, Alvin didn’t speak, and Nangong Lin, of course, remained silent too, the atmosphere inside the car was very quiet, both of them seemed a bit lost in thought.

When the car passed a pedestrian shopping street, Alvin suddenly slowed down and asked, "Are you hungry?"

They were originally planning to have dinner, but it didn’t happen, now it’s past seven in the evening, surely Nangong Lin must be hungry too.

"A little bit." Nangong Lin smiled and nodded, turning to look at him, "Are you hungry?"

"Hungry." Alvin nodded sincerely, asking, "Should we eat outside or go home and I cook for you?"

"You can cook?" Nangong Lin was a bit surprised.

"I can make steak." Alvin said with a smirk, "I know how to make some Western dishes, but I’m afraid you might not be used to them, so we can eat out, whatever you want to eat, we can have."

"Really?" Nangong Lin blinked, unable to help but laugh, "Didn’t expect you could make steak."

"I was selling newspapers at three years old, is there anything I can’t do." Alvin turned his eyes to look at Nangong Lin with a smile.

"Look at you all proud." Nangong Lin couldn’t help but smile and roll her eyes at him, then thought for a moment and said, "How about we eat outside tonight, we can have steak anytime."

"Okay." Alvin nodded, feeling a bit excited, he asked, "So what should we eat?"

"Grilled skewers!" Nangong Lin’s eyes lit up, "I haven’t had skewers in so long!"

"What are grilled skewers?" Alvin looked at her curiously.

"I’ll take you and you’ll find out." Nangong Lin chuckled, "First, park the car over there."

"Alright." Alvin turned the steering wheel.
