Chapter 1103: Chapter 1113: Lying Through One’s Teeth
My fingers couldn’t help but open the message he sent—
"Your stubbornness has crossed the line."
A brief remark, yet Ariel instantly sensed the coldness and warning in his words.
Did he find out about the Seys Family and Era Family discussing the marriage, and sent this message to warn her?
Remembering his tactics made her teeth shiver with cold.
The Seys Family can indeed protect her, no need to fear Jose Floyd. But a person like Jose Floyd, once he gets reckless, fears nothing, yet the Seys Family has things to consider.
The Seys Family’s position in the political world brings power and also many concerns. The higher the tree, the more it catches the wind; any move by the Seys Family could be exploited by a schemer, thus sometimes becomes a constraint.
Jose Floyd’s message left Ariel unsettled and restless, unable to sleep through the night.

The next day, on Saturday, Arlo Seys was in the study handling affairs related to Era.
Ariel Morris came in with a tablet in her hand, "Arlo, do you have an account for this game? Vanessa wants me to play a few rounds with her, but she forgot I’m terrible at it."
Arlo glanced at the game Ariel was playing, nodded, reached out to take the tablet and entered his account and password, "I occasionally team up with Dawn and Nico, but I don’t play much."
"Wow, Arlo, your ranking is so high! The highest level! I must use your account to show off some skills to Vanessa!" Ariel exclaimed excitedly.
Arlo raised his eyes slightly, reluctant to undermine his wife directly, and replied softly, "As long as you’re happy."
He was already prepared for her to come back upset soon.
Ariel eagerly joined Vanessa Sutton in the game team, and when Vanessa saw Ariel’s rank, she sent a picture of worshipping a gaming master to Ariel, prompting a smug smile from her.
Ten minutes later.
"Holy crap, is this high-ranking account fake? I must be seeing things!"
"What the hell, how did this trash reach the King rank! I never knew this game could have backdoors!"
"I give up, I admit defeat! This is such a scam! Is it for elementary students?"
Some hours later.
"Your account has been banned due to complaints, prohibited from gaming."
Ariel returned to the study with the tablet, looking dejected.
"Arlo..." Her voice was small, revealing some grievance.
Arlo put down what he was doing and motioned her to come closer.
Ariel approached with an expression of frustration and displeasure.
Just from her look, Arlo guessed the situation and asked anyway, "What happened? Did you lose the game?"
Ariel nodded with her head lowered, "I was reported."
"They were just jealous of your high rank and reported you," Arlo said, pretending nonchalance, trying to comfort her.
"Exactly! How could someone at such a high rank just be banned like that? Can’t people just enjoy gaming!" Ariel looked up, her face full of indignation.
Arlo glanced at the tablet Ariel held, briefly choked upon seeing the ’banned’ message displayed on the screen.
Seeing his beloved wife upset, Arlo helplessly pulled Ariel into his arms, comforting her: "No worries, it’s not your fault at all. Your rank is high, so it must be the opponent’s issue. Want to keep playing? If you do, I can log you into another account, Nico’s."
"Yes! I refuse to believe I’m a gaming disaster!" Ariel slammed the table, her face full of determination.
Without another word, Arlo logged into Nico Haynes’ account for Ariel and passed the tablet over calmly.
