Chapter 2951: Chapter 2951

With no other opponents left, Ye Liuyun turned his attention to Wuxing.

"In just a moment, your cultivation realm will begin to regress! Do you have any last tricks up your sleeve?" Ye Liuyun sent the taunt directly into Wuxing’s mind via divine sense. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Wuxing, now completely unable to break free from the suppression and absorption of the Demon-Sealing Stele and the Demon Vine, felt a surge of panic. Two of the puppets it had summoned earlier suddenly collapsed, their energy drained dry. The stele’s suction force intensified yet again, tightening its grip.

"Never thought a mere human at the Sovereign Realm could wield such power!" Wuxing admitted defeat. It had assumed dealing with Ye Liuyun would be effortless—yet here it was, ensnared in its own trap.

"Truly, greed leads men—and even ancient demons—to ruin. Did you never consider this outcome before making your move?" Ye Liuyun remarked casually, as if chatting about the weather.

Wuxing slowly shook its head. No, it had never imagined failure, let alone that it would be the one in peril.

According to the intelligence it had gathered, the Demon-Sealing Stele and the Demon Vine shouldn’t have posed any threat. Even after Ye Liuyun deployed that massive orb, Wuxing had merely found him troublesome—but never expected that the combined forces of the Blood King, the spirit master, its own doppelgänger, and an army of puppets and wraiths would still fall short.

A low, guttural roar tore through the air, drawing both Wuxing and Ye Liuyun’s attention toward its doppelgänger.

Heiyan and Shaying had teamed up against the clone, shattering its arm bones before Heiyan’s devastating punch caved in its chest, obliterating its heart. Before it could retaliate, Shaying’s palm strike sent it flying. With its last breath, the clone let out a final roar—a desperate warning to Wuxing that it could hold on no longer.

But Heiyan and Shaying showed no mercy. They lunged forward, fists and palms striking in unison, reducing the clone to nothing. Only then did they withdraw, returning to Ye Liuyun’s side before being recalled into his spatial realm to rest.

Meanwhile, several more of Wuxing’s puppets collapsed around it, and the stele’s suction surged yet again. Wuxing’s cultivation realm plummeted, its energy now hemorrhaging uncontrollably under the relentless pull of the stele and the vine.

Realizing its fate was sealed, Wuxing ceased resisting. Instead, it turned to Ye Liuyun with a final request:

"May I see that golden token?"

Though resigned to its doom—knowing full well its greed had led to this end—Wuxing couldn’t suppress a bitter curiosity. It wanted, at least, to lay eyes on the treasure that had cost it its life.

Ye Liuyun, however, had no intention of indulging such a demand. Flaunting his treasures was never his style—and with Wuxing still technically alive, who knew what schemes it might yet attempt?

Still, he replied coolly:

"If you wish to see it, release a fragment of your soul into my sea of consciousness. I’ll grant you that glimpse—but that soul fragment will be obliterated the instant it arrives. You, yourself, will never lay eyes on it."

Wu Xing also pondered seriously for a moment before nodding. "Alright, I’ll release my divine soul now!" It even notified Ye Liuyun in advance to avoid any misunderstanding. Having already accepted its inevitable defeat, it saw no point in further tricks—honesty was the better choice now.

Even if just one of its divine souls could catch a glimpse of that treasure, it would be enough to satisfy its dying wish.

Ye Liuyun nodded as well, cautiously watching Wu Xing’s movements. Only after its divine soul surged into his consciousness did he finally relax.

The moment Wu Xing’s divine soul entered Ye Liuyun’s sea of consciousness, it was immediately enveloped in a golden light, rendered completely immobile. Only then did it truly lay eyes on the Ten Thousand Gods Token.

"What is this treasure called?" it asked curiously.

"It’s called the Ten Thousand Gods Token. But as for its exact origins and abilities... I’m not entirely sure myself," Ye Liuyun admitted frankly.

Wu Xing’s divine soul was swiftly dissolved by the Ten Thousand Gods Token, becoming nourishment for Ye Liuyun’s own spiritual power.

"Your divine soul has seen the treasure, and I even introduced it to you," Ye Liuyun explained to Wu Xing outside.

The physical Wu Xing, blood trickling from the corner of its mouth, managed a bitter smile but made no plea for mercy or surrender.

By now, its cultivation had already plummeted to the third level of the Unity Realm, and the decline was accelerating.

"Will this planet be taken by that treasure as well?" Wu Xing asked, casting a lingering glance around the world it had once ruled.

"Most likely, unless the treasure itself has no interest in it," Ye Liuyun replied truthfully.

Wu Xing nodded silently, then closed its eyes, resigned to its fate.

It believed that since it had made the wrong decision, it must bear the consequences—and uphold the dignity of its clan leader. Even in death, surrender was not an option.

Understanding its sentiment, Ye Liuyun did not halt the Demon-Sealing Stele or the Demon Vine. He simply watched in silence as Wu Xing’s energy was drained away.

Wu Xing’s cultivation level continued to plummet, and the descent only accelerated. Once it reached the Sovereign Realm, it dropped an entire major realm every breath or two.

By the time Wu Xing was completely drained into a withered husk, the Demon-Sealing Stele and the Demon Vine finally returned to Ye Liuyun’s side. Without hesitation, Ye Liuyun summoned flames, reducing Wu Xing to ashes—a final act of respect for the fallen clan leader, sparing others the sight of his gruesome end.

Afterward, Ye Liuyun stored the massive orbs, the Demon-Sealing Stele, the Demon Vine, and the underground puppets into his spatial world before making his way toward the planet’s core energy.

Near the core, the three hundred ancient demon guards had already retreated to a distance. They had witnessed the battle between their leader and Ye Liuyun, yet now, faced with him, none dared to act.

Wu Xing had already commanded them not to obstruct Ye Liuyun from claiming the planet. Moreover, having seen his terrifying power, they could only watch in silence as the world was taken from them.

This time, the Divine Decree of Ten Thousand Gods emerged on its own, casting golden radiance upon the planet’s core. In the blink of an eye, the entire world trembled before being swallowed whole into the decree.

As the Divine Decree returned to Ye Liuyun’s sea of consciousness, he stood momentarily stunned. The once star-scattered Demon Realm now lay barren and empty.

"Just like that... it’s over?" He mused inwardly, "I wonder just how powerful the Divine Decree will become now."

A wry thought crossed his mind: *Not just cultivators—even treasures are desperately hoarding resources!*

The stronger he grew, the more resources he needed. And it wasn’t just him—his companions, the women by his side, and his vast army had all reached formidable heights, each requiring vast amounts of cultivation materials.

If all of them were to advance to the Unity Realm... just how many planetary cores would they need to sustain such growth?

Lost in contemplation amidst the endless void, Ye Liuyun lingered for a while longer before finally returning to his spatial world. There, he sought out Qin Mengxi to discuss sending her back to the Qin family.

"I won’t go back!" Qin Mengxi immediately protested, her voice sharp with urgency, terrified that he might abandon her. "From now on, I’m staying with you—wherever you go, I go!"
