Ahead, an enemy warship loomed, carrying over two hundred ancient demons. The strongest among them was a commander at the Unity Realm’s first stage, while the rest ranged from Dominator Realm’s third to ninth stages—a broad spectrum of power levels, some suitable for Qin Mengxi to test her skills against.
Within his spatial world, his beast companions and close allies had already geared up for combat, their eagerness palpable.
The demon warship blocked the path of the Spirit Fox Vessel, its occupants leaping out, weapons at the ready. Without hesitation, Ye Liuyun halted his own ship and released his companions, charging forward without a word. The demons brandished their weapons in response.

Qin Mengxi, however, froze. This was her first life-or-death battle, and the sheer size and ferocity of the demons sent a wave of terror through her. Instead of joining the fray, she clung to Ye Liuyun’s shadow.
"Don’t follow me—you won’t survive the backlash of my attacks!" he barked, stopping her in her tracks. "Find an opponent weaker than you and use your Divine Light energy!"
To ensure her safety, he summoned a Demon Vine, instructing it not to fight but to guard Qin Mengxi at all costs.
Qin Mengxi froze for a moment before drawing the longsword Ye Liuyun had gifted her and charging toward a third-level Demon Lord.
"ROAR!"
The demon’s thunderous bellow sent a jolt of terror through her, her expression tightening with tension.
In her panic, she swung her sword with full force, hoping to block the oncoming demon. So flustered was she that she even forgot to channel her Buddha Light energy.
But as a mid-level sixth-stage Demon Lord, slaying a third-stage demon should have been effortless. And indeed, her blade, fueled purely by raw energy, cleaved the demon diagonally in half.
She gaped in stunned disbelief. Her first kill—and it was such a hulking monstrosity! And yet, it had been so easy that she barely even registered it.

The Demon Vine, knowing she stood no chance, instantly lashed out with a tendril, coiling around the demon’s arm and yanking it violently toward itself. With a sickening slurp, the demon was drained dry and tossed at Qin Mengxi’s feet with a thunderous *BOOM*, making her flinch.
Another vine snaked out, retrieving the demon she had just slain and absorbing it as well.
Only when the danger had passed did Qin Mengxi dare to glance around at the other women. They fought with practiced ease, cutting down towering ancient demons without hesitation.
Gritting her teeth, she tightened her grip on her sword, stomped her foot, and charged toward a fourth-level Demon Lord.

The Demon Vine guarded her, ensuring she only engaged one enemy at a time to prevent overwhelming her. It even corralled a fifth-level Dominator for her to practice against.

Ye Liuyun smirked, shifting the demon’s physical body out of his spatial world and tossing it to the Demon Vine. Meanwhile, he swiftly conducted a soul search on the demon, extracting information about this demonic star system.
"So this place is called the Scattered Demon Realm, a remnant of an ancient demon world. But the strength of these ancient demons is formidable indeed!"
Through the soul search, Ye Liuyun learned that this star system even housed ancient demon experts at the fourth level of Unity. It seemed another arduous battle awaited.
After the Divine Order Token helped devour the demon’s soul, Ye Liuyun didn’t absorb it immediately. Instead, he stored it all for his second clone before promptly exiting his spatial world to continue consuming the souls of other ancient demons.
Once the battle concluded, Ye Liuyun allocated all the harvested soul energy to his second clone. The corpses of the demons were left for the Demon Vine to devour.
"Stay outside and fight to improve yourself! There are even Unity-level ancient demons here—you need to hurry and grow stronger!" Ye Liuyun instructed the Demon Vine.
Then, he withdrew everyone into his spatial world to recover their energy. His first clone followed, offering words of encouragement to Qin Mengxi.
Ye Liuyun himself didn’t summon his flying vessel. Instead, he employed spatial overlap, instantly appearing before the ancient demon planet.
This demon planet had once been a frequent garrison site for the four great families, so many of its demons had already been slain. The remaining numbers were sparse, and none possessed excessively high realms.
