Chapter 2794: Chapter 2794

Ye Liuyun immediately raised his hand, stopping them from handing over their storage rings.

"Hold on! Since we’ve crossed paths, it must be fate. How about a little sparring match? We’ll pick our opponents—one-on-one. If you win, you keep your storage rings. If you lose... well, whether you keep your lives is another matter."

Following Liang Xue’s suggestion, Ye Liuyun had them come forward one by one for practice.

The bandit leader’s face twisted in dismay. "If you’re the ones choosing, we’re doomed to lose! We’d rather just hand over our storage rings. Please, spare our lives!"

But Ye Liuyun just grinned. "Relax. I won’t pick anyone weaker than your men. That should give you some confidence, right?"

The bandits exchanged uneasy glances. They didn’t understand why he’d pick opponents of equal or higher strength, but none dared to question him.

Without hesitation, Ye Liuyun called out Ah Xing and pointed to a bandit at the third level of the Dominator Realm.

Ah Xing was currently at the late stage of the second level, on the verge of breaking through to the third. Fighting a slightly weaker third-level bandit was perfect for sharpening her skills.

"Young master, you want me to fight... this woman?" The bandit hesitated, unsure of Ye Liuyun’s intentions.

"Exactly. If you win, you keep your Interspatial Ring, and we won’t kill you. But if you lose—even if she doesn’t finish you off—I’ll make sure you don’t walk away." Ye Liuyun added the threat to ensure the man wouldn’t hold back.

"These terms..." The bandit wavered, realizing the rules actually favored him.

"If you don’t want to fight her, you can fight me instead," the martial artist transformed from the Vermilion Bird interjected coldly.

"I’ll fight her! I’ll fight her!" The bandit hastily stepped forward, paling at the sight of the Vermilion Bird’s eighth-level Dominator Realm aura. Facing her would be suicide.

Whatever Ye Liuyun’s game was, his only chance was to win this duel first. Whether Ye Liuyun would keep his word was a problem for later. Right now, losing meant certain death.

"Stay calm," the bandit leader suddenly spoke up, having guessed Ye Liuyun’s real motive. "This young master just wants some practice. Fight with everything you’ve got!"

The leader of the third-level bandits immediately grasped the situation and swiftly drew his blade, standing ready for battle.

"Fair lady, make your move!" the bandit said with forced politeness, not daring to show the slightest disrespect in his tone.

"You want me to strike first?" A Xing chuckled, unsheathing her own blade. "Very well, but don’t say I didn’t warn you!"

With that, she unleashed her sword intent, slashing forward in a single, decisive motion.

Her sword techniques had been taught by Ye Liuyun, and though she was far from matching Ye Tiandao’s prowess, dispatching a mere bandit was child’s play.

She poured everything into that strike—her full sword intent, combined with true essence and demonic energy. The bandit, who also wielded a blade, found himself utterly overwhelmed, unable to even raise his weapon in defense.

A startled cry escaped his lips before A Xing’s blade cleaved him clean in two.

Without hesitation, she snatched his Interspatial Ring and stood poised, blade in hand, making no move to return to Ye Liuyun’s side. Clearly, she wasn’t done yet.

Having cultivated dual core elixirs, she had only tapped into the true essence of one for that strike. And with energy-storing stones at their disposal, she could fight several more rounds without issue.

The remaining bandits gaped in stunned silence.

"That’s no fair lady—she’s a demoness in disguise!" some of them thought, shaken by how effortlessly she had bisected a man without so much as blinking.

But to A Xing and the others around Ye Liuyun, this was nothing. They had witnessed far bloodier battles—this was barely worth a reaction.

"You!"

Ye Liuyun raised his hand and pointed at another third-level bandit.

The bandit shrank back in fear, waving his hands frantically. "I can’t beat him! I surrender!"

"Oh? If you don’t fight, you die!" Ye Liuyun reminded him coldly.

The bandit let out a desperate, almost tearful whimper. "Fighting means death either way!"

"Kill him!"

Ye Liuyun gave the order without hesitation to the three-eyed alien at the ninth level of Dominance. A brief flash of white light shot from the alien’s hand, instantly melting the bandit’s head into nothingness.

"You—come out!" Ye Liuyun pointed at another bandit, this one at the third level of Dominance.

Trembling, the man hesitated, torn between stepping forward and the fear of immediate execution.

"Your only chance to live is to win," Ye Liuyun warned.

Gritting his teeth, the bandit made up his mind and lunged at A Xing with a sudden palm strike, hoping to catch her off guard. But A Xing effortlessly dodged using spatial energy, countering with a swift slash of her blade.

The bandit reacted quickly, sidestepping the attack before launching another assault.

Seeing his speed and decent control over spatial power, A Xing smirked and unleashed a wave of demonic energy, engulfing him in an inky black mist. Panicked, the bandit strained his spiritual senses, trying to track her movements.

Yet A Xing charged straight into the miasma, striking with a soul-devouring attack that consumed his consciousness in an instant.

When the dark fog dissipated, only the lifeless body of the alien remained floating in the void—even his Interspatial Ring had already been snatched away by A Xing.

"A demoness... She’s definitely a demoness!" The remaining bandits shuddered in terror, realizing that even a fourth-level Dominance cultivator might not stand a chance against her.

Unfazed, Ye Liuyun immediately pointed at yet another bandit—this one also at the third level of Dominance.

The bandit immediately dropped to his knees, begging for mercy, too terrified to fight—only to be swiftly executed by the three-eyed alien. Ye Liuyun then pointed to another.

This bandit also hesitated, fearing he was no match for Ah Xing.

"Quit stalling!" the bandit leader barked at the third-level Dominator. "You want to die right here? At least fight and give yourself a chance! Even if you lose, you’ll wear her down for the next man. She can’t keep this up forever!"

The leader had figured it out—Ye Liuyun was using them for training. If they didn’t satisfy him, none of them would leave alive.

With no choice, the third-level Dominator stepped forward, throwing everything he had into the fight. He was stronger than the previous bandits, but in the end, Ah Xing drained his true energy and cut him down.

After that battle, Ah Xing returned to Ye Liuyun’s side, done for the day. Facing opponents above her level had drained the energy reserves in her storage stone, and without confidence in winning another round, she wisely bowed out.

Next, Piao Yun, Lin Fei’er, and Qing Yan took turns, whittling down the remaining third-level Dominators until none were left.

One bandit, with unusually solid true energy, managed to defeat Piao Yun. Ye Liuyun motioned for him to stand aside.

The others, seeing that victory actually meant survival, suddenly found hope. Even when the bandit severely injured Piao Yun with a single strike, Ye Liuyun didn’t reprimand her—he simply sent her into his spatial realm to recover.
