Chapter 2789: Chapter 2789
Ye Liuyun then summoned the winged aliens, assigning them tasks under the command of a Dominator Ninth-Realm winged leader: "You’re responsible for perimeter patrols. Once the battle begins, eliminate all enemy patrols on the outskirts immediately!"
"Yes, sir!" The winged leader responded crisply before taking flight with his entire unit to scout the surrounding area.
After that, Ye Liuyun fell silent, waiting in place while observing the progress of Broken Horn and the winged aliens through his golden pupils.
Pang Kuan and the others stood agape, stunned. After a long pause, Pang Kuan finally spoke up, suggesting, "With two Dominator Ninth-Realm powerhouses at your command, we could just charge straight in, wipe out all the aliens on one planet, and retreat!"
Ye Liuyun merely smiled at him. "Patience, Elder Pang. This is going to be a major campaign—just sit back and watch. You’ll all get your share of resources when it’s over!"
"Alright, alright!" Pang Kuan quickly agreed, falling silent again. The others exchanged bewildered glances, wondering what other surprises Ye Liuyun had in store.
Once Broken Horn was in position and the winged scouts had completed their reconnaissance, Ye Liuyun finally unleashed Yuan Hao’s army of a million soldiers.
Pang Kuan and his companions nearly dropped their jaws in shock.
"Take your elite guard and strike directly at one of the outer planets," Ye Liuyun instructed Yuan Hao. "Then split your forces into multiple routes to sweep through the surrounding worlds and hold them, preventing any aliens from escaping the central zone. I’ll also give you five thousand Lynx-class warships to intercept fleeing enemies."
"Understood!" Yuan Hao bowed in acknowledgment.
Ye Liuyun then released the five thousand Lynx-class warships, handing them over to Yuan Hao, who immediately mobilized his troops for the assault.
"Begin the attack!" Ye Liuyun commanded.
With a sweep of his spear, Yuan Hao led twenty thousand elite guards in a charge, followed closely by the massive army of a million. The Lynx warships trailed behind, advancing steadily in their wake.
Next, Ye Liuyun summoned the elite Blade Corps, entrusting both the Demon Vine and the Demon-Sealing Stele to Tian Dao.
"Head straight for the twenty-plus core planets. The alien powerhouses there are all yours! I’ll have Xiao Feng support you—it’ll be good training for his new recruits!"
"Yes!" Ye Tiandao responded promptly, leading his troops in a charge. Following them, Yu Xiaofeng’s million-strong army was unleashed, swiftly joining the vanguard unit. Ye Liuyun’s doppelgangers, along with the beasts and women by his side, all surged forward alongside Yu Xiaofeng’s forces.
Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun motioned for Pang Kuan and the others to press ahead. There was no need for them to engage; observing the battlefield from a distance would suffice.
Pang Kuan and his companions stood frozen in shock, utterly dumbfounded. It took Pang Qing a while to regain his composure.
Hesitantly, he asked Ye Liuyun, "Was that a pocket dimension? How could it hold so much? Or is it some kind of treasure?"
Their attitude toward Ye Liuyun had completely shifted—no longer the casual familiarity from before. They now suspected he had concealed his true strength, believing him to be a powerhouse far beyond the ninth level of Dominator realm.
Pang Kuan immediately apologized, admitting they had failed to recognize Ye Liuyun’s greatness and had underestimated him.
"Please, don’t say that!" Ye Liuyun replied earnestly. "I genuinely don’t care about such things. Whether I command an army or you act alone, we’re all fighting the same enemy—there’s no difference!
We share the same cause. I hope you won’t let my forces create distance between us.
Come on, let’s go watch the action. We can grill some meat while enjoying the battle!"
His warm, sincere invitation put them somewhat at ease.
They moved closer and chose a suitable vantage point—though for the others, the distance made the fighting appear as little more than faint silhouettes. Only Ye Liuyun, with his golden pupils, could clearly oversee the entire battlefield, tracking the clashes across multiple planets with ease.
True to his word, he casually grilled meat while keeping an eye on the conflict. With his doppelganger on the frontlines, he didn’t need to monitor every development.
They had barely begun eating when Ye Liuyun suddenly paused. He released the three-eyed alien at the ninth level of Dominator realm, along with the other elite alien warriors under his control.
Pointing in a specific direction, he sent them charging forward. His golden eyes had spotted a group of powerful alien cultivators attempting to flee the losing battle. The three-eyed alien intercepted them effortlessly, annihilating the escapees with sweeping beams of white light. Without pause, it collected their corpses into a storage space for later distribution after the battle.
Then those alien powerhouses never returned to Ye Liuyun’s side. He simply let them remain in the starry void, keeping watch over any fleeing extraterrestrials.
The battle on the frontlines progressed smoothly as well. Yuan Hao divided his forces into multiple units, systematically clearing out the alien forces on the peripheral planets one by one. Eventually, the various battalions converged, completing the encirclement.
Five thousand Spirit Fox warships were divided into ten squadrons, strategically positioned across the battlefield. The moment any alien forces attempted to escape, the other Spirit Fox vessels would instantly accelerate through space to reinforce the area.
Yuan Hao also dispatched elite guards to intercept fleeing enemies. With the winged extraterrestrials forming the outermost blockade, none of the trapped aliens stood a chance of breaking free.
Ye Tiandao’s Vanguard Regiment was unstoppable. Leading fifty thousand martial cultivators, she dispersed her forces across multiple planets at the onset of battle to hunt down alien powerhouses. The Demon-Sealing Stele and the Demon Vine also specifically targeted the strongest of the enemy forces.
Broken Horn destroyed the alien altar at the very start of the battle, cutting off their reinforcements, then led the Blue-Armored aliens to eliminate numerous enemy elites.
As for the remaining alien armies on the central planets, they became nothing more than training targets for Yu Xiaofeng.
After observing for two days, Ye Liuyun stopped paying attention. It was clear these extraterrestrials were doomed to annihilation.
Pang Kuan and the others could only vaguely see battles raging across the planets but had no real grasp of the situation.
Every day, Ye Liuyun either took them hunting and roasting meat or had them train, much to their frustration.
"If you’re bored, go take a look. I’ll wait here for you," Ye Liuyun finally said once the alien forces were nearly wiped out. He had kept them close earlier out of concern that stray alien warriors might ambush them.
Now that almost all the alien powerhouses had been eliminated, there was little danger left. Even if they encountered a few scattered enemy soldiers, they could handle them on their own.
"Great! I’m going—who else is coming?" Pang Qing was the first to speak up.
The others immediately chimed in, eager to go. Ye Liuyun figured their curiosity had been gnawing at them all this time. Without delay, they sped off to survey the aftermath.
Every planet they visited had already been secured by Ye Liuyun’s forces. Tens of thousands of soldiers and hundreds of martial cultivators stood guard on each world, sweeping for any remaining alien stragglers while cleaning up the battlefield.
Ye Liuyun had given prior orders, so the troops didn’t stop them, allowing them to roam freely.
