Chapter 2763: Chapter 2763

Han Qiao turned to Meng Wenxiang with a puzzled expression. "That kid’s army isn’t just strong—they’ve got insane stamina. How do they have so much energy to keep fighting like this?"

Meng Wenxiang could only shake his head in bewilderment. He had noticed this earlier—how Ye Liuyun’s troops conserved their energy meticulously, only unleashing it when absolutely necessary. But now, in the thick of real combat, they were still fighting with relentless vigor. It defied logic. Neither of them knew that Ye Liuyun’s forces were equipped with Energy Storage Stones and Energy Conversion Stones. Even after annihilating this entire alien horde, they’d still have reserves to spare.

The battlefield had become a stage for Ye Liuyun’s 200,000-strong army. Alien corpses littered the ground in grotesque heaps. With each clash, rows of enemies fell like wheat before a scythe, while Ye Liuyun’s soldiers pressed forward, their battle cries ringing through the air.

Once the alien elites had been mostly wiped out by Ye Liuyun and the Vanguard Unit, the latter withdrew to regroup. Their losses were minimal—just a few martial experts running low on energy.

Suddenly, a piercing shriek split the air as the Vermilion Bird, mid-battle, underwent a dramatic breakthrough—reaching Dominator Level Five. The potent souls of the fallen aliens had supercharged its growth.

Then, with an explosive burst of demonic energy, the Demon Vine surged to Dominator Level Six. The Demon-Sealing Stele seethed with frustration—it had missed out on too many battles compared to the vine. Its power only awakened against aliens; human conflicts gave it nothing to absorb, leaving it lagging behind.

"Don’t worry," Ye Liuyun reassured it. "I’ll make sure you get extra alien corpses after this."

As other beasts and fighters depleted their energy, they retreated into Ye Liuyun’s spatial realm to recover—all except the Vermilion Bird, which kept devouring souls to grow stronger. The Demon-Sealing Stele and Demon Vine fought on relentlessly, determined to drain every last drop from the remaining foes.

The alien forces had dwindled to a mere 200,000–300,000, now completely encircled by the Wolf Hunt Legion with no escape.

But the Falcon Fleet had paid a steep price to cut off their retreat—nearly half their ships destroyed, the rest battered and bruised.

Watching a million elite alien troops being decimated while Ye Liuyun’s army suffered minimal losses—still fresh and charging—Han Qiao and Meng Wenxiang exchanged awed glances.

"Damn, this makes me wanna join his army," Han Qiao muttered to Meng Wenxiang.

Just then, a message from Liu Haotian reached all three of them: "Prepare to retreat. Fifty thousand alien reinforcements are coming. The Empire has ordered me not to send you backup."

Liu Haotian’s tone was heavy with resignation. Imperial commands weren’t to be disobeyed—all he could do was warn them in advance.

"Bunch of bastards!" Han Qiao cursed without hesitation.

"Understood. You all fall back first!" Ye Liuyun didn’t elaborate, merely instructing Liu Haotian to withdraw his forces. With no other choice, Liu Haotian led his troops back to camp.

Yet Ye Liuyun’s army remained on the battlefield, continuing their relentless assault with no intention of sparing the remaining alien forces.

Han Qiao contacted Ye Liuyun via a communication talisman: "Aren’t you retreating?"

They still didn’t realize the person they’d been coordinating with was Ye Liuyun.

"We’re staying. You go ahead. We have more fighting to do," Ye Liuyun replied.

"What?" Han Qiao’s jaw dropped in shock, momentarily speechless.

Meng Wenxiang was equally at a loss for words. He could only warn Ye Liuyun: "The alien reinforcements number five hundred thousand!"

"I’m aware," Ye Liuyun responded coolly.

Exchanging glances, Han Qiao and Meng Wenxiang decided to stay as well. They immediately rallied their troops, ordering soldiers to replenish their energy reserves and prepare for another battle.

Seeing them remain, Ye Liuyun acknowledged their loyalty but said nothing further.

In truth, he had already mobilized an additional one hundred fifty thousand demon troops. He’d never fully trusted Liu Haotian to intercept the alien reinforcements. Having anticipated the Star Disk Empire’s interference, he’d placed no faith in their assistance.

Meanwhile, his doppelganger slipped away from the battlefield to scout the alien reinforcements’ movements and assess their strength.

Only after annihilating every last alien combatant did Ye Liuyun order the Wolf Hunters to secure the battlefield while soldiers hurriedly restored their energy.

Three armies now sat in silent meditation, steeling themselves for the coming storm of war.

The clone also brought back news about the reinforcements from the alien race.

"Their strength is nothing impressive—weaker than this million-strong army. They have just over a dozen martial cultivators at the seventh level of Dominance. With Tian Dao leading the charge, the demon army will strike again and wipe out these fifty thousand aliens!"

Without hesitation, he laid out the next battle plan, ordering Tian Dao’s elite vanguard unit to attack the moment the alien forces landed.

Meanwhile, Han Qiao and Meng Wenxiang were still pressing Ye Liuyun for his strategy against the fifty-thousand-strong alien reinforcements.

"Same as before—you two handle the flanks and cut off their retreat," Ye Liuyun replied bluntly.

"What? You’re still taking the main assault? Charging head-on against fifty thousand?" Han Qiao was stunned.

But Ye Liuyun merely responded with a calm, "Yes."

Han Qiao and Meng Wenxiang exchanged bewildered glances, at a loss for words. Finally, Meng Wenxiang managed to mutter, "We’ll follow orders." Han Qiao nodded numbly, still processing the absurdity of it all.

Before long, the alien army of fifty thousand landed on an open field just beyond the battlefield.

Tian Dao immediately led her elite unit in a fierce assault. Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun’s orders reached Han Qiao and Meng Wenxiang, instructing them to march their troops to the new battleground. Yet his own twenty-thousand-strong force remained in place, seemingly indifferent to the unfolding battle as they continued to rest and recover.

Han Qiao couldn’t help but voice his suspicions to Meng Wenxiang, "You think this kid’s gone rogue? Trying to trick us into fighting fifty thousand aliens on our own?"

"Don’t talk nonsense—didn’t you see his ten-thousand elite troops already charging in? Move fast and stick to the plan!" Meng Wenxiang shot back before hurrying off with his soldiers.

"Fair point," Han Qiao conceded, quickly rallying his own troops to follow.

Only after they had left did Ye Liuyun finally recall the Wolf Hunters into his spatial world before heading to the new battlefield.

By then, Tian Dao’s vanguard unit had already launched their assault, taking advantage of the aliens’ disarray before they could form ranks. They had already plunged deep into the enemy forces, while Ye Liuyun’s clone worked to capture their strongest warriors.

Meng Wenxiang and Han Qiao’s armies had taken up semi-encirclement positions, trapping the aliens from both flanks.

Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun, cloaked in invisibility, slipped close to the battlefield before suddenly unleashing the demon army.
