Chapter 2638: Chapter 2638

Mo Tianheng harbored no further doubts. However, whether it was martial cultivation or demonic cultivation, advancing too rapidly would inevitably lead to an unstable foundation, ultimately limiting one’s future potential.

The ancient demon, however, had no intention of considering Mo Tianheng’s long-term prospects. Its sole aim was to swiftly elevate its own strength alongside him. Once it reached a certain level of power, it planned to abandon Mo Tianheng’s body for a more suitable vessel. Moreover, the demon took malicious pleasure in the thought of turning Ye Liuyun’s friend into a cripple—a petty revenge that brought it immense satisfaction. Naturally, it had no reason to reveal the truth.

Blinded by the rapid progress he had made under the demon’s guidance, Mo Tianheng never questioned its motives.

Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun had completed a full circuit around the Silver Fox Galaxy, returning once more to the vicinity of the trade planet. Within his consciousness, he now held a complete mental map of the galaxy’s structure.

Numerous star clusters had been equipped with teleportation arrays, effectively linking the entire Silver Fox Galaxy into a seamless network. Martial practitioners could now traverse the region freely, leading to a significant surge in their overall strength and access to abundant resources.

Yu Xiaofeng and his expeditionary forces had also achieved initial success, securing a foothold on a planet at the edge of the Taurus Galaxy and establishing a teleportation array there. Reinforcements had already begun pouring in through the newly constructed gateway.

Tong Xin and the Qiong Qi had assisted in forging another batch of Falcon-class ships, which were promptly dispatched to equip the million-strong Death Legion. Additionally, the legion had established formal ties with the alliance, ensuring a steady supply of recruits without the need to draw from Ye Liuyun’s inner world.

Within Ye Liuyun’s spatial realm, only a single demonic army remained. Strengthened by the recent addition of the Titan race, this force had grown even more formidable. The original demons and half-beasts had also made significant progress in mastering both cultivation techniques, meaning nearly every soldier in this elite unit was now capable of battling at the Sovereign level.

For now, Ye Liuyun kept them in reserve, allowing them to refine their skills at a measured pace. There simply hadn’t been any opponents formidable enough to warrant their deployment.

Rather than returning to the trade planet, Ye Liuyun used the nearby star clusters as reference points and ventured further into the void. He wanted to observe the galaxy from a greater distance, to truly grasp its vastness.

This time, he traveled without his Falcon-class ship. Instead, he manipulated the flow of time, freezing it around him, while simultaneously wielding spatial power to propel himself forward into the endless expanse.

As time stood still, the star clusters in his vision grew increasingly smaller. When he had traveled far enough, those planets had all diminished into mere pinpricks of light.

Ye Liuyun continuously manipulated the frozen time, flying until even his golden pupils could barely discern the distant constellations before finally coming to a halt.

This time, he beheld even more planets—some radiant with abundant primal energy, while others were so dim they faded into the void of space, their weak essence barely sustaining their presence.

Stretching his gaze further, only a handful of exceptionally bright stars remained visible, the rest vanishing into obscurity.

Yet, the full expanse of the Silver Fox Galaxy still eluded him.

"Seems my golden vision still isn’t sharp enough," Ye Liuyun murmured with a sigh, preparing to turn back.

But as he pivoted, another galaxy came into view—the nearest one to theirs, the Wild Bull Galaxy.

Due to the angle, the Wild Bull Galaxy appeared densely packed, its closer planets shining with striking brilliance.

Witnessing the Wild Bull Galaxy’s dazzling sea of stars, Ye Liuyun understood: the Silver Fox Galaxy was simply too sparse, its missing celestial bodies preventing him from seeing its complete form.

Determined, he soared even farther into the void. After some time, the faint outline of the Silver Fox Galaxy finally emerged—only a ring of brighter stars marking its silhouette remained visible.

Counting them, Ye Liuyun realized he could now see barely over twenty planets. In stark contrast, the Wild Bull Galaxy sprawled before him with at least two or three hundred, clustered thickly together.

Of course, distance and perspective played a role—but the truth was undeniable. The heart of the Silver Fox Galaxy was hollow.

Committing the sight to memory, Ye Liuyun channeled his full power to return, once again freezing time as he raced back toward the direction of the Trade Planet.

Only after flying for a stretch did the faint glimmer of the Trade Planet reappear. Its primal energy was clearly still lacking.

Without hesitation, Ye Liuyun veered toward a neighboring planet, one that had shone far brighter even from the farthest reaches of his journey.

He wanted to go over and compare, to see what differences there might be.

As he approached, however, he discovered that the planet was uninhabited by humans—completely untouched by civilization.

From afar in the void of space, Ye Liuyun had already scrutinized the planet with his golden pupils. He noted that while the planet teemed with feral beast, none were particularly large, mostly reptiles.

The landscape was dominated by swamps, their surfaces veiled in a faintly toxic miasma. Prolonged exposure would likely lead to slow poisoning.

"No wonder the source energy here is so abundant—it’s been well-preserved!"

Ye Liuyun had no intention of absorbing the planet into his spatial world. He simply wanted to explore and see if he could find any unique resources.

The moment he descended over a stretch of marshland, a massive crocodile burst from the murky waters, jaws gaping wide as it lunged at him.

Ye Liuyun glanced at the beast.

"Interesting—this one’s at the first level of Dominance! The energy here must be rich for the creatures to reach such heights."

With a casual flick of his palm, he struck the crocodile dead, its internal organs instantly reduced to pulp.

A quick wave of his hand sent the corpse into his spatial world, where he let Tongxin and Qiong Qi examine whether its hide could be used for armor.

"The inner layer of this hide could work for soft armor, but it’s not sturdy enough for outer plating," Qiong Qi concluded without hesitation.

"Good enough—as long as it’s of some use."

To Ye Liuyun, as long as it could be traded for resources, the kill wasn’t wasted. And there were plenty more crocodiles lurking in the swamps below. Besides, their meat could feed the demonic tribes, and their cores could serve as cultivation resources—nothing would go to waste.

Sure enough, one after another, the crocodiles charged at him, jaws snapping. Even those at the third level of Celestial Realm fearlessly lunged forward, as if unaware of the danger.

Ye Liuyun figured this was a good opportunity to burn off some of his Xuan Yuan energy—might as well speed up its circulation.

As he continued gathering food for the giant demon clan, a sudden croak echoed from the swamp, followed by a bolt of lightning streaking straight toward him.

His spiritual sense instantly locked onto the source—a blue venomous toad, half his size, its body crackling with electricity. It was the one that had launched the attack.

But what truly caught Ye Liuyun’s attention were the toad’s golden eyes, gleaming just like his own.

A thought flashed through his mind: *Could I refine it to enhance my Golden Pupils?*
