Chapter 2277: Chapter 2277 Difficult To Implement

The martial practitioners from both factions shared similar attire, language, and cultivation ranks.

They had landed close to the battlefield of foreign races, where most martial practitioners were at the seventh or eighth realm.

Ye Liuyun estimated that they likely had Immortal Realm ninth-stage martial practitioner as well.

Sure enough, it wasn’t long before a squad of 300 soldiers, all at the Immortal Realm ninth stage, arrived under the command of a high-ranking officer to intercept their warship.

Ye Liuyun led his team down immediately.

The moment the local martial practitioners saw that they were all fellow humans, cheers erupted from the crowd.

Even the leading officer smiled in relief and greeted Ye Liuyun and his companions in a friendly manner.

“Are you reinforcements from one of the larger planets?” the officer asked.

Ye Liuyun promptly explained their identity and reason for coming.

"You wiped out the foreign race in your region?"

"Are you here to form an alliance? Will you help us eliminate the foreign race?"

The gathering martial practitioners eagerly bombarded Ye Liuyun with questions.

"When we arrived, we intercepted a large foreign race warship. They had just reinforced this region with 100,000 foreign race soldiers. Please report this urgent military intelligence to your Supreme Commander immediately."

Ye Liuyun explained, addressing the most critical information first.

The officer immediately grasped the gravity of the situation. Without hesitation, he led Ye Liuyun and his team straight to the military camp to report to their Supreme Commander.

As they advanced, Ye Liuyun and his companions expanded their Divine Senses, scanning the area. They discovered that the human forces stationed here numbered around 100,000, evenly split between regular troops and martial practitioners.

Among them, over 10,000 soldiers and martial practitioners had reached the ninth realm and above, while the rest were at the seventh or eighth stage.

However, it was unclear what was happening behind enemy lines.

With the foreign race’s reinforcement of 100,000 troops, their overall strength now rivaled the human forces here. But considering the enemy’s original numbers, the pressure on the defenders was bound to increase significantly.

Ye Liuyun carefully observed their military equipment. To his surprise, it was even inferior to that of the God Realm. It was clearly no match for their own.

"It seems their Weapon-refining techniques are less advanced than ours. I wonder how their alchemy and Formations compare." He mused.

As they approached the military camp, the stationed forces refused to allow Ye Liuyun’s troops inside. Instead, they adopted a defensive stance, prepared for any potential threats.

Ye Liuyun understood their caution. If the situation were reversed, he wouldn’t allow an unfamiliar army into his camp either.

Using transmission, he instructed Yuan Hao:"Stay outside and be prepared for defense. Watch for any ambushes or attempts to surround you."

"What if they make a move against us?" Yuan Hao immediately asked

Ye Liuyun’s expression turned cold. His voice was firm and decisive, "Then strike back without hesitation. We came to form an alliance, not to be at their mercy!"

"Understood!"

Yuan Hao had vast experience in leading troops and he immediately recognized the risks. If Ye Liuyun entered the camp alone, it wouldn’t just put him in danger, his army could also be surrounded and wiped out.

To mitigate the risk, Ye Liuyun chose to bring only four companions—Qiong Qi, Mo Tianheng, Liu Yang, and Mo Shaowen. All of whom were among the lower-ranked members of his group.

This move reassured the opposing forces, making them less wary of his intentions.

Meanwhile, Wen Hao, Zhao Hu, and Jing Yong, along with his Black Armored Guards, stayed behind with the Dark Legion.

Their Grand Commander is named Man Feng, with two Vice Commanders, Song Tianyang and Gong Lei.

The initial exchange was cordial yet cautious. After a round of introductions,

Ye Liuyun identified himself as a representative of the Alliance of Goddesses without elaborating further on his background. Then, he outlined his purpose and shared the intelligence he had gathered.

Man Feng and his officers listened intently, occasionally interjecting with questions, which Ye Liuyun answered thoroughly.

Finally, when the discussion turned to an alliance, Man Feng provided crucial insight into their world’s situation.

Their world is called Lookout Island, similar to Outpost Island, where Ye Liuyun and his group came from, both serving as frontline strongholds for the great planet.

However, unlike the God Realm, which is unified, this world is divided among three opposing Royal Management.

These three Royal Management are the Zhongyuan Dynasty, the Shengyun Dynasty, and the Xingjin Dynasty. Man Feng and the other two commanders each belong to one of these dynasties.

To resist the foreign race as a unified force, these dynasties formed a coalition army.

All commanders, soldiers, and martial practitioners participating in the coalition must sign a Divine Soul contract, which prevents them from secretly sabotaging or weakening rival’s Royal Management. This ensures a unified command structure.

Finally, Man Feng spoke directly to Ye Liuyun, "We appreciate the intelligence you’ve provided and will strengthen our defenses against the foreign race.

As for your request to form an alliance, we will report it to our respective Royal Management and await further instructions. Until we receive their response, your forces must remain stationed here under our supervision.

Given your considerable strength, we cannot allow you to move freely within our territory without our permission. This is to prevent any unnecessary misunderstandings between us."

Ye Liuyun agreed to this request and found a flat area not far from their military camp to set up their base.

After settling the army, Ye Liuyun instructed Qiong Qi to set up a Formation to prevent detection. Then, he gathered everyone to discuss how to gather information about this place.

"In my opinion, since these commanders know this place is called Lookout Island and are aware of the existence of that major planet, it’s highly likely that envoys from that planet have visited here before. They should also have something similar to distress signals and treasure-receiving halls," Qiong Qi’s primary concern being resources. Naturally, he was most interested in the treasure-receiving halls.

"My biggest worry is that these Royal Management might trap us here, forcing us to fight the foreign race on their behalf to minimize their own losses. Then, when we need their support, they may refuse to ally with us."

Ye Liuyun expressed his concerns.

"That’s inevitable! Unless you can take control of all three dynasties!" Mo Tianheng replied decisively.

"Exactly! They won’t willingly propose an alliance unless the Devil Clan pushes them to the verge of annihilation. They’ll only try to use us. How many people truly have your level of vision?"

Mo Shaowen voiced his opinion, believing that Ye Liuyun’s plan would be difficult to execute.

"It definitely won’t be easy!" Ye Liuyun admitted.

Yuan Hao then shared his own thoughts, "I think a battle wouldn’t be a bad idea! If they don’t witness our true strength, they won’t negotiate with us."

"But we should know when to stop. Show them our power first, then observe their attitude. If there’s no hope for an alliance, we seize power and force them into submission."

Ye Liuyun fully agreed with this suggestion.

"That’s right. We need to prepare for both possibilities. But before anything else, we must gather more information about this world and assess their true strength."
