He intended to return the balance of it to the citizens.

"You’ve worked hard! What’s your name?" Ye Liuyun asked.
"I am Mu Qingcheng!" the city lord replied.

He noticed that this city lord not only had a mid-level eight realm but also possessed command ability. It’s just that the strength of the troops he brought was too weak.

With a command from Ye Liuyun, the ferry set sail, heading into the Endless Sea.
As soon as they left the coast, the ferry was immediately drawn by the deep sea’s pull to float on the water’s surface, turning it into a true vessel.

The first several days of the journey were rather peaceful but they soon feel the gradually violent sway of the vessel.

Just as he finished his sentence, the ferry began to shake even more violently.
