When the Fairy Clan heard the news, they began questioning Shui Muhua.
Shui Muhua was perplexed when questioned and asked, "How is it possible?" I have been assisting Ye Liuyun in restoring Bolderia City all these while! All of his troops are here!"
"Then how do you explain what happened to the Murongs? Are you certain that all of Ye Liuyun’s armies were present and none being secretly dispatched?" The Elder of the Fairy Clan interrogated Shui Muhua.
"Ye Liuyun had promised," Shui Muhua said with an irritated tone. "Plus, not a single soldier has been sent out by him since I arrived!"
"You need to verify if Ye Liuyun secretly dispatched his army! Who knows? Maybe he planned everything behind you and acted innocent for you!"
The elder of the Fairy Clan was aware that even if it was proven to be Ye Liuyun’s doing, they couldn’t do anything to stop it.
However, they would then have an explanation to give Cao Yuntian to justify the resources they accepted from him.
They could blame Shui Muhua for not keeping an eye on Ye Liuyun, even if Ye Liuyun was the real culprit.
After putting down the Sound Transmission Talisman, Shui Muhua immediately went to confront Ye Liuyun.
Of course, Ye Liuyun refused to admit it.

"As long as you leave Ye Liuyun’s side, Ye Liuyun would have a chance to transfer his troops. And wherever he told you he sent them to, that’s where they’ll be. If he claims to send his troops back to the eastern border, are you going to spend two months verifying it at the eastern border?"
"Well...you do make sense. In that case, I should communicate with the Fairy Clan and let them send someone else to investigate!" As Shui Muhua was debating, he was about to use his Sound Transmission Talisman to reach out to the Fairy Clan again.
"Alas, why do you still trust the Fairy Clan? They could have sent someone else to investigate a long time ago, why do you think they insist on you going?" Shui Bingyue asked Shui Muhua.

"Here’s what you can do! You continue to keep an eye on Ye Liuyun. Since I’m free now, I’ll help you by going to check on the Murong Clan, problem solved!" Shui Bingyue suggested.
"That would be wonderful!" Shui Muhua agreed repeatedly, feeling grateful and relieved.
Then, Shui Muhua quickly made his way back to Bolderia City.
When he got home, he saw that Ye Liuyun had indeed gathered a team. Seeing him return, Ye Liuyun was surprised and had no choice but to dismiss the team and continue arranging the task of rebuilding Bolderia City.
Shui Muhua felt proud and thought, "I’m lucky to have met Shui Binyue, otherwise, I would’ve been tricked by Ye Liuyun! I must keep a closer eye on him!"
Little did he know, after parting with Shui Muhua, Shui Bingyue instantly returned to her plantation base.
She had completed her task by pinning down Shui Muhua.
It would take her more than ten days to travel to the Murong clan. Even if Shui Muhua himself went after her, he would find no trace.

The Fairy Clan could only task Shui Muhua once again to uncover the truth.

The two delays beniefited Ye Liuyun by buying him more time to obliterate the Murong clan and unite the eastern cities under the rule of the Eastern Dynasty. In addition, his army of two hundred thousand soldiers had almost arrived at Ludarbay City, a city adjacent to Klanning City.
