Five days later, Ye Liuyun and his party arrived at the Beast Mountain.
Once they arrived at Beast Mountain, Ao Bo and the rest of the dragon clan transformed into their actual selves, casting their Dragon Qi as they descended into the mountain’s depths.
Instantly, the howls of the alarmed feral beast resounded from the mountain.
The number of the dragon clan members was too large, and their Dragon Qi were too overwhelming. Their sudden appearance in the Beast Mountain caused distress among the lower-ranking feral beasts.
Many feral beasts were terrified, even thinking that the dragon clan had come to attack them.
In the depths of the Beast Mountain, several feral beasts and Demon of the Nine-level immediately emerged, rushing to defend the Beast King’s lair.
The Beast King, too, sensed this powerful dragon clan’s presence. He immediately paused his cultivation. From the highest peak of the Beast Mountain, he roared, summoning the strongest beasts in the mountain. His thunderous howl exposed his position to Ao Bo and the rest to him.
Ao Bo and the rest of the Draconis instantly rushed towards that peak.
Soon, both parties met on a platform halfway up the mountain.
To communicate better, everyone assumed their human form.
"Ao Bo, you old geezer. What are you doing wandering around my territory for no reason!" The Beast King transformed into a middle-aged man and yelled at Ao Bo. His face was crude and covered with stubble like a common farmer.
"Haha, I was simply trying to know where you are!" Ao Bo laughed as he explained.
The Beast King turned his gaze toward Ye Liuyun.
He could easily see that all the rest were beasts of the Dagon Tribe except for Ye Liuyun who was a human.
"So, you’re Ye Liuyun?" The Beast King asked as he eyed him up and down.
"Indeed!" Ye Liuyun quickly paid his respects to the Beast King.
"There’s no need for formality. If you have anything to say, speak up! Anything that Ao Bo, this old geezer, supports you on, I’ll try my best to agree!"
The Beast King didn’t bother with formalities either. His blunt and straightforward manner was quite in sync with his fierce beastly form.
Ye Liuyun turned to glanced at Ao Bo, who nodded subtly at him.
"Well then, I’ll say it outright!" Ye Liuyun promptly stated his thoughts.
"I have three matters to discuss. First, I wish to ally with the Beast Mountain. At least, I hope Beast Mountain will agree not to be my enemy..."
Before Ye Liuyun could finish his sentence, the Beast King replied. "Agreed! If the Dragon Clan supports you to this extent, I don’t see why I shouldn’t."
"Otherwise, this old geezer might turn my Beast Mountain upside down!"
"Thank you, Beast King!" Ye Liuyun expressed his thanks!
Even though the Beast King had a somewhat rough character, he was straightforward and clean when it came to making decisions.
He must have received a message from the Dragon Clan in advance and had already thought out a strategy.
"The second issue..." Ye Liuyun released his Demons from within his Spatial World.
The Beast King was surprised at the scene.
"These are my friends. I’ve always wanted to find a home for them. I hope to let them stay at Beast Mountain for a few days. If they adapt well to this place, I’ll leave them here. I hope that you will take care of them." Ye Liuyun said.
He then allowed each Demon to morph into their actual forms to the Beast King to get his approval.
Upon seeing the feral beasts, the Beast King was taken aback.
"There are quite a lot of Demon beasts you have there."
Upon seeing Hua Xiangyuan and Hua Xiangfen, the two printed marten, he immediately transformed into his true form, a giant purple marten. Its body was covered in fur that shone with a purple glow.
"It would be great if you all could stay!" the Beast King repeatedly agreed. "You can stay as long as you like! You may even wander around Beast Mountain as you please!"
"Lastly..." Ye Liuyun continued as he pointed at Whitey, "These white tigers come from a secret realm in Beast Mountain. I wish to take him to seek for his kind!"
The Beast King squinted his eyes as he scrutinized Whitey and the white tiger, "Indeed, the bloodline of this white tiger is pure. However, while the white tigers can enter the secret realm, you cannot. That realm is designed only for feral beasts to enter. Even if I permitted you to, you won’t be able to."
Ye Liuyun glanced at the white tiger, fearing it would encounter danger if he let him enter the place alone.
"Shall Dragon Lady accompany you?"
"It’s alright. I don’t think it will be too difficult if I enter to look for my kind. I don’t wish other beasts would interfere." The white tiger declared, not wanting any other feral beasts to get involved.
"Alright then. Be cautious! Go now, and we will stay here to wait for you!" Ye Liuyun did not force him.
Thus, the white tiger and Whitey went ahead with the Beast King’s followers to the secret realm.
Under the arrangement of the Beast King, Ye Liuyun and his companions temporarily resided at the foot of the mountain.
The Demon beasts that came with Ye Liuyun began to wander around exploring the place. Only the beasts that came with Ye Liuyun were given this special treatment.
However, some of his beasts that had transformed into Demon Beasts were not released by Ye Liuyun. He could not let all of them go since he still needed their assistance.
Demon beasts that had been with him since he was in the mortal realm and had given him invaluable assistance over the years, Ye Liuyun felt it was time to find a good place for them.
The Beast King specifically instructed all the beasts, instructing them not to harm the feral beasts brought by Ye Liuyun.
Furthermore, since then, the Beast King has brought food to the Moonflower Sisters daily in an attempt to win their favour.
Eventually, Scorch, Rhino, the Dracaena siblings, MoMa, and the Moonflower Sisters chose to stay here.
Vespera, Xiao Binglan, and Megalithic Ape decided to continue to follow with Ye Liuyun.
Ye Liuyun annulled the Slaving Seal with the beasts planning to stay. He ensured their mutual care for each other in the future.
Soon after, these beasts said their goodbyes to Ye Liuyun and moved on to find a spot where they would make their home.
Ye Liuyun, accompanied by the others, waited at the spot for White Tiger.
The Beast King, charmed by the Moonflower Sisters and the remaining beasts, adopted a much better attitude towards Ye Liuyun. Heavily associating with him in the hope he would put in a good word for him.
Ye Liuyun seized the opportunity to form bonds with some of the superior beasts of the Beast Mountain. These beasts might not necessarily come for his aid in the future, but they definitely wouldn’t pose as his future enemies.
After the Beast King observed Ye Liuyun’s status in the Dragon clan through their interaction, he decided to declare publicly that he would recognise Ye Liuyun as his brother.
With this, the outside world learnt that Ye Liuyun had won over both the Dragon Clan and Beast Mountain.
Finally, the white tiger emerged from the secret realm. With him, was the entire pack of White Tigers. There were over eighty of them, varying in their cultivational level.
Even though the white tiger was severely injured, the outcome was indeed worthwhile.
The Beast King retained a few White Tigers of the lower level, promising to cultivate them well, which the white tiger agreed to.
Ye Liuyun gathered the Deomns and feral beasts that decided to go with him into his Spatial World. He allowed the white tiger to receive healing from the Vital Waters.
Then he said his goodbye to the Beast King. The Beast King asked him to take good care of the emi-beast with him, to which Ye Liuyun readily agreed.
His venture to the Dragon Clan and Beast Mountain had been a resounding success, far exceeding his initial expectations.
The news shook both the NorthskySect and the Alliance of Merchants.
Yao Donglai and Lu Yi of the Northsky Sect had not expected Ye Liuyun to ally with these two forces so quickly.
"Perhaps he had prepared for this all along. He just had to make a personal trip to realise it!" Yao Donglai speculated.
"No matter what, we can’t afford not to be his ally now!" Lu Yi also said.
