"Was I being too lenient for letting you go last time?" Ye Liuyun asked coldly.
"No, no. It was only a joke. Please, don’t take it personally. If you don’t hurry and give me the antidote, I might die!" Liu Xing immediately begged Ye Liuyun.
"Hehe, from where do you get the idea that I have good use of you? If you die, so be it!" Ye Liuyun stretched out his hand, sucked the Northsky Formation Flag, and began studying it.

Half an hour later, Liu Xing woke up. Although the poison had been neutralised, he still had multiple internal injuries. It would take him a few days to fully recover.
"Scram once you wake up, don’t be an eyesore! Come back to report to me when you have healed!"
Ye Liuyun tossed the Formation Flag to his side, hinting for him to leave.
Knowing that this Formation Flag was the treasured object of Wu Kun, the Formation Department Master, he dared not keep it and had no choice but to return it to Liu Xing.
"Yes!" Liu Xing responded with a gloomy face. He picked up the Formation Flag and left.
He dared not think about defying him. All he could hope for was that Ye Liuyun would not assign him any challenging work.
"Another one taken care of!" Ye Liuyun celebrated with Azure after Liu Xing was out of sight.
"Why go through so much trouble? Why not just plant a Slaving Seal on him!"
The Book Demon in his Ocean of Consciousness suddenly interjected.
"I’m not powerful enough now, I don’t want to be discovered!" Ye Liuyun explained to him.
"Then just stamp whoever found out with the Slaving Seal!” said the Book Demon scornfully.
Ye Liuyun helplessly replied, “I’m not like you. Possessing such an immense Divine Soul? Once they put on artefacts that defend against Divine Soul attacks, I will be helpless!"
"Then you should start devouring more Divine Soul! I see you practising every day, but you only cultivate the advanced energy. It’s too slow! There’s not even enough time to practice the power of space, let alone time to improve other powers!" The Book Demon complained, "At this rate, when will you ever become a strong fighter?"
"So what do you suggest?" Ye Liuyun inquired the Book Demon.
"Don’t you have a hundred thousand-strong army? Have them deliver you a hundred people each day so that you can consume their Divine Souls." The Book Demon voiced his opinion.
"Why don’t you suggest I devour some of your Divine Soul?" Ye Liuyun rebutted, feeling annoyed by the Book Demon’s words.
The Book Demon fell silent. He was genuinely afraid that Ye Liuyun might truly think of doing that.
Ye Liuyun wasn’t interested in continuing the discussion with him and returned to his Xuankong Stone to cultivate.
After a few days, Liu Xing had fully recovered from his injuries and came looking for Ye Liuyun, presenting himself as a servant.
Ye Liuyun didn’t bother with the formalities and told him straightforwardly, “I need a lot of resources. Didn’t you help Murong Tian gather many resources? From now on, all those resources are to be transferred to me!”
Liu Xing pondered for a moment and replied, "That’s not a problem! But some of the martial practitioners with stronger capabilities will be difficult to deal with!"
Ye Liuyun released Jin Hui and Bai Sha, "You two follow him and handle some of the clan affairs. Gather all their resources and took control of it!"
"Understood!" They nodded and turned to look at Liu Xing. They were curious about the reliability of this new servant.
"I poisoned him, and only I have the antidote. If you find this fellow acting out of line, you can kill him!" Ye Liuyun informed them.
Then he turned to Liu Xing and asked, "Is there anything else?"

He had never dreamed that Ye Liuyun had so many powerful martial practitioners with him.
"If I knew he had such strong followers, I would’ve surrendered earlier, why did he have to waste all this effort!" Liu Xing pondered to himself.
