Linger thought that after she confessed the truth, they would let her go.
But when she realized they were going to throw her into the dungeon, she pleaded urgently to Wang Yufei, "Miss, I haven’t told a single lie, I have said all I know, please let me go!"
Wang Yufei however, was looking at Linger with great interest. "Let you go? How can I be sure everything you said is true?"

With that, she ordered for Linger to be taken away directly. She then followed to the prison herself, eager for the thrill of interrogating a prisoner, planning to try out all the torture methods known in the Wang Manor on Linger.
Poor girl was continuously screaming, tormented by Wang Yufei until she fainted several times and was at the verge of death.
After Wang Yufei had her fill of enjoyment, she left the prison. Before she left, she casually handed Linger over to some guards in the dungeon, who used her as their plaything, ultimately torturing her to death.
Upon learning of Linger’s death, Wang Yufei didn’t care, she simply ordered the guards to cremate the body, leaving no evidence behind.
At the Alliance, nobody paid any heed to the loss of a guide. The guides here worked on commissions, such situation barely mattered for them.
Wang Tianqing and Wang Yuxing gathered nearly all their skilled experts to the Alliance. These disguised individuals surrounded the Alliance with several layers, fearing that Ye Liuyun might escape.
During Ye Liuyun’s spare time from practicing, he would often take Feng Hongxiu to visit the slave and beast markets. They were trying to look for potential drills, while observing the situation around.
"It seems that your news has been leaked! There are several layers surrounding us outside!" Feng Hongxue informed Ye Liuyun.
"Mhm." Ye Liuyun had also noticed the changes outside. His divine sense was now not much weaker than hers.
"If the city lord sent out so many skilled fighters, wouldn’t it be an opportunity to infiltrate?" asked Ye Liuyun to Feng Hongxue.
"Almost, there shouldn’t be many experts left!"
"Well then, let’s take down the manor first!"
Feng Hongxiu also harbored anticipation, looking forward to seeing how he would handle them.
In the following three days, the man of mid-seventh-realm that he bought did not only had detoxified himself, but also enhanced himself close to eighth-realm.

Xenocide’s transformation was quite successful, turning into a middle-aged man in his forties; although it was not yet familiar with the human body.
But this in no way hindered it from participating in the battle. It could slay opponents in its beast form as well.
Moreover, with a higher realm, Xenocide’s invisible skill was even stronger than that of Vespera. It can even directly assassinate any early-seventh-realm.
The clone arrived as scheduled and transfigured into an ordinary martial practitioner. As soon as he got into Bloody Cloud City, it headed directly for the City Lord’s Manor.

After setting them up, Ye Liuyun instructed them to pretend to be on the lookout as if they were about to leave to distract the martial practitioners. He then walked straight out.
Once outside, he found a secluded area to transform back into an ordinary man’s appearance. He then woke the waiter, compensated him with some Alora Crystals, and left the Alliance.
The martial practitioners monitoring Ye Liuyun from the neighboring courtyards paid no mind to a mere waiter.
Outside the Manor, the clone also met up with Ye Liuyun.
"There are still over five hundred martial practitioners in the mansion, mostly below fourth-realm. There’s a hint of sixth-realm aura from the hall, certainly not much of them. It could be Wang Tianqing," the clone reported the situation to Ye Liuyun.
Immediately, he handed the manor’s map to Ye Tiandao to arrange their manpower.
Once she finished arranging, Ye Liuyun promptly released the entire Blade Legion and stormed straight into the Manor.
Mo Hai had not been released for the time being. Instead, he let Xenocide following him under invisibility.
The clone summoned the Demonic Wolf and the Bull Lion, following along Ye Liuyun as they stormed into the great hall. The clone then put on its Concealcape and rushed to the treasure vault, trying to seize the resources before the city lord’s reinforcements could arrive.
In the Manor, Wang Tianqing had just received a news that there was movement on Ye Liuyun’s end and he might be leaving soon.
Considering the timeline, it was about time for him to leave the Alliance. Wang Tianqing immediately ordered all martial practitioners to play their parts.
Wang Yuxing had also deployed heavy troops at the city gates to prevent Ye Liuyun from escaping.
However, before any movement could be detected on the Alliance’s end, Ye Liuyun had already stormed into the Manor with the Blade Legion.
The remaining guards outside were no match for the them, and were all wiped out as soon as they showed their faces.
Wang Tianqing was planning to command the battle outside the Alliance. Just as he and Wang Yuefei were about to leave the great hall, they realized something was wrong in the place. Before they could figure it out, they came face-to-face with the charging Bull Lion and Demonic Wolf.
Their combined attack left Wang Tianqing with no room to dodge, especially with Wang Yuefei behind him. If he did, the attack would surely obliterate Wang Yuefei.
Left with no choice, he had to resist with all his might.
With a bang, Wang Tianqing was sent flying, crashing into Wang Yuefei at the back. Both tumbled back into the grand hall at once,
Ye Liuyun also hurriedly entered, directly searching through Wang Tianqing’s soul.
"So they’ve got Linger!" Ye Liuyun only realized then that Wang Tianqing had took Linger which caused the spread of his information, and not the Alliance.
